They were very quick at getting a great team into the package, full and continual training given. Superbly managed package, absences and holidays covered seamlessly, hugely reliable company, which is invaluable to our lives. The managing director/owner is extremely approachable and always has time to listen and she reflects this to her staff too. Carers are dedicated, proactive and have so much compassion towards my son and are happy in their role. They are a great asset to his life, they take him out daily from visiting Goodwood, Polo at Cowdry, concerts, afternoon matinees, cricket etc which is a challenge as all his medical equipment is in situ. Office team are very friendly, and always at the end of the phone if needed. Thank you VDC for everything!

They have provided an exemplary service in their professionalism, compassionate and supportive role to them both and to me, their daughter. A group of us stayed for a week in disabled-adapted holiday accommodation in order to give our friend a holiday from her nursing home. She is severely disabled due to multiple sclerosis. The Carers came each morning and evening and they all brilliantly adapted to a new client. They were friendly, patient, well-trained and cheerful. Our friend rated them very highly (as did we). They made a huge contribution to making the holiday possible and we one hundred percent recommend them.

Verina Daly Care is a care provider with a difference - the entire team displayed warmth, compassion and empathy matched with incredible professionalism and a true desire to make a difference. The manager became our trusted guide through such a difficult time - she gave us such honest and supportive advice on the best way forward. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the service provided by Verina Daly Care during the last few months of my mother's life. The love and care that the wonderful carers showed helped her pass on peacefully and in her own home. Not only did the carers help Mum but us daughters were supported so well by them. We are pleased with Verina Daly. Excellent service and so much better than the previous care company. All the staff are professional, empathetic, caring, punctual, and always wearing PPE. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Verina's team cared for Dad for 18th months up to his death in July. The last 3 months, during the Covid-19 situation, were tough. However Mum and I decided he should stay at home and we increased the care to three visits a day. Towards the end, I was present for most of the visits, which can't have been fun for the carers.....but every single visit was carried out with kindness, compassion and humour (when appropriate!). They also always took the time to check on Mum even though they were there to look after Dad. Their experience reassured us when we knew the end was coming. When we look back on those last few weeks, we know that he couldn't have been better looked after...and I know Mum misses those cheery 'Hellos' when they turned up.

Would recommend the company to anyone who needs home care.

Verina Daly Care is an excellent care company who have been looking after my wife for approximately 18 months and I have nothing but admiration for the care team who provide an excellent and totally reliable service. The firm is small enough to be able to provide a personal service and large enough to be up to date with the latest equipment. Really pleased we found them.

Members of Verina Daly Care Ltd have been caring for my husband for well over a year. He suffers from PSP, a progressive illness. Every carer shows consideration, kindness, understanding and empathy, not only to my husband but to me and the extended family. The care is suitable to the condition and the carers forsee necessary developments and changes. The staff are presentable and follow strict hygiene rules. Only once have I had to make an informal complaint, which was immediately, satisfactorily settled.

Their role is increasingly essential during the Coronavirus outbreak and we can only hope, when we return to normality, that their true value to society is appreciated in a way it has not been hitherto.

On holiday at local cottages, excellent care, friendly staff. 1st time we've been away and had care, it has been such a help. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks all.

Always cheerful and positive. Could be better at bed making. Sometimes the bathroom needs better clean-up after use.

We started with Verina Daly Care through a personal recommendation and this was a very positive way for my father to commence a daily package of personal care. The introductory meeting was very helpful and reassuring and the responsiveness of the company to text and email contact has been excellent throughout. A regular carer is a high priority for my father and generally, this has happened. The carer has a strong working relationship with my father and this gives us all confidence and also allows small changes to be monitored effectively. In an otherwise excellent service, the one problem has been the recently introduced care line system. Despite frequent intervention by senior staff at Verina Daly Care there appears to be an access problem. When sorted, I’m sure it will be very useful.
