Highly satisfactory, particularly during Covid problems.
Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you're finding the service "highly satisfactory". I noticed you scored us lower for 'management' so I'll ask one of the team to get in touch to see what we can do to improve this for you.
My sisters and I are so grateful to the Home Instead Team - their service has been hugely reassuring for us, offering us peace of mind that our Mum is being so well cared for and supported by such a professional and dedicated team.
A huge thank you.
Thank you so much for your 5 star review, it means a lot to us to know you're so happy with everything.
Although my Mum is now in a home, I continue to use the carer from Home Instead. I could never have known how useful this could be. Mum loves her visits. The link with life before the home is essential for Mums mental health and being miles away I have someone who can alert me to issues who keeps me up to date with Mums care and health.
Like a number of our other clients, I'm pleased we're still able to support both Mum and you even though she's now in a care home.
The support is flexible and adapts to her needs, from arranging repairs to going on outings.
I highly recommend Home Instead.
Thanks so much for your feedback, you're so right that consistency helps to build great relationships!
It gives peace of mind knowing how good they are and that the company is really well organised and has coped admirably with the difficulties of Covid.
Thanks to the care team, not forgetting all those in the office as well.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments - and for recognising the role our office teams play.
First-class caregivers. Excellent communication.
Thanks so much for your wonderful feedback which we really appreciate!
The support from Home Instead is invaluable for my mum. She looks forward to their visits and would not be without them. The two people who support Mum have built a very good relationship with her and she trusts them implicitly. She values their company as well as all the practical help they give her. She was initially unsure about taking on help but now she wouldn't change it. A big thank you to Home Instead from all of us.
We're delighted your mum's initial hesitancy about our support has changed to "wouldn't change it" thanks for letting us know!
My carer attends two mornings per week. She drives me to the bank when it's raining. She does shopping for me. She also does ironing for me. Each day she comes she makes up my bed. All she does is a great help to me - I live on my own and am aged 94. She is a pleasant person. Life for me without her help would be difficult.
Thanks so much for your feedback, we're pleased your caregiver is working out well for you.
I find our helper always cheerful and very willing. The help with transport has been very much appreciated. I am learning to use the help she offers more. We have had no problems at all.
Thanks so much for your feedback, I'm pleased to hear your CAREGiver is always cheerful - clearly enjoying helping you!
We have been using the service for three years now and have never had any cause for complaints or grumbles. Any change in plans or circumstances have always been dealt with in a very professional manner and always with Mum's best interests taken into account. I feel very comfortable dealing with staff and have found all the caregivers who have worked with my mum to be very special people. It has made life easier for Mum and me.
Thank you so much for your kind words, they are greatly appreciated - as you say we are fortunate to have many special people working with us.
Mum was delighted to have a daily 2 hours of help from Home Instead when her mobility began to fail. Her most frequent helper (PM) in particular was excellent. Food prep, light housework, shopping and, latterly, personal care was undertaken with grace and support from the office staff was good. Home Instead enabled Mum to stay at home for an additional period of time and their help was greatly appreciated by our mother and the rest of the family.
Thanks for your lovely feedback, we're delighted to have been able to help mum to stay at home longer.
Exemplary service. My husband has Alzheimer's and has a companion twice a week. Very kind, professional and lots of fun is had. Makes a huge difference to us both. Especially because of covid restrictions.
Thanks! Delighted to hear everything is working so well for you both.
Our care provider - who we prefer to call a "companion" to my father has been excellent. We were looking for a carer/companion while the live-in carer had her break. This has worked out very well because if the companion is not taking my father out or he has gone for a nap, then she is happy to help with ironing/paperwork etc.
We're so pleased the service is working well for you, thanks for your feedback
More than happy with our present carer. Lots of common interests shared, therefore pleasant sessions. Very aware of needs and most professional. Home Instead staff are very helpful and understanding. Super service.
Thanks for your feedback, we're pleased to hear the service is working so well for you.
Every Wednesday and Friday I look forward to seeing my carer. She is such pleasant company and I enjoy talking about our families. She is extremely helpful with a wide range of tasks; going through my exercises, chopping veg, supporting online tasks, sorting out potted plants, making phone calls, ensuring I have delivery dates from the supermarket. I have every confidence that she will help whatever arises.
Thank you for comments - great to hear everything is going so well.
I feel that great care was taken to provide the right person to be a companion for my sister. A very good relationship has been developed. The caregiver is very reliable and very sensitive to my sister's needs.
Thanks for letting us know, I'm so pleased the match has worked really well.
My husband's carer comes three times a week, usually over lunchtime. My husband is not always 'in good form', but after the carer arrives, his face lights up, and he is pleased to see her. She spends time doing crafts with him and going into the garden to feed the birds. They eat together, and she can always (nearly) get a smile from him. I enjoy my three hours off, as I know he is in safe hands.
Thanks for you feedback I'm delighted to hear our visits are working so well for you and your husband!
The company name "Home Instead" says it all. Without the excellent service from Home Instead, my mum would have to go to a care home. It is so much better for her to stay at home where she is familiar with her own surroundings and is relaxed. After a recent spell in the hospital, she needed extra daily care and Home Instead we're able to step up to the mark and provide that.
Thank you for your kind words John, as you say, helping our clients to continue living well in their homes, love is what we're about!
Satisfactory.
Thanks for your feedback, your reviews are lower than we're used to getting so I will ask one of our Care Team to get in touch to see what we can do to improve things for you, Andrew
For the most part, the same carer visits my husband weekly. Over time they have established a good rapport with many interests in common. He looks forward to the visits, they give him a change of company, different topics to discuss and taking an interest in carers family. They go out for short walks close to our house. We have some nice grounds nearby.
Thanks for your lovely review, great encouragement as all the team works hard to support our clients through Coronavirus.
