The carers are alright, they do everything you want them to do. They are very kind and we have a laugh with them. I enjoyed the rounders match the other day.

The main carer plus the others on her days off etc, are great at all times. They put you at ease, and help you as much as they can, all being so friendly.

Manorcourt Homecare have provided excellent support for my mum, and now my dad, since 2009. Recently when my dad's health deteriorated and he returned from a spell in respite care, Manorcourt management and staff reacted extremely quickly to put in at home. They are responsive to any requests and the
staff are caring and reactive to ongoing care demands. I am very happy with the care provided.

Manorcourt Homecare have been looking after Mum for 2 and a half years. We have been very impressed with the level of care she receives and the way all the carers treat Mum with kindness, concern and dignity. They regularly go above and beyond their normal duties to support not only Mum but also my
dad and their friendly manner while carrying out their duties is very much appreciated. We are also very lucky to have the dedicated support of an excellent team leader whose commitment and professionalism are second to none. Any questions we have are answered promptly and the medication officers also offer excellent support. We genuinely feel we have struck gold with Manorcourt at this difficult time of life for Mum.

In general, the care provided is good and reliable. Carers arrive reliably (within the same time limits) and provided the required care. My mother has not complained other than at times the times of putting her to bed and rising had been a bit variable.
I am conscious of the budgetary of staff availability
problems face by care providers and given these, I don't think I could ask for more.

Many thanks for taking the time to review our service and for having the understanding of the difficulty that can sometime arise within the care system.

From Monday to Thursday I have an attentive and organised carer who arrives between 8 and 8:30 am. I have a stand-up shower and she is there to ensure I do not fall, washes my back and legs, dries and dresses me.
The scene changes for Friday to Sunday. I have a mix match or carers, I very seldom have
the same carer two days running and they arrive any time from just after 7 am to 10 am. I phone the office to complain and all I get is 'sorry', 'shortage of staff' and 'ww will look into the problem' and not solving my situation Fridays to Sunday.

Reply from Karen Exley, Branch manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Thurrock)

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of our service. Unfortunately, our carers cannot work 7 days a week and this would be why she cannot be with you every day, however, the weekends that she does work we will always send her to you.

I am happy with the care I get, but would like the times to be the same each day like 8 am - 8:30 am and definitely no later than 8 am - 8:30 am on Sunday as I want to go to church. Thank you for all your help.

Reply from Karen Exley, Branch Manager at Manorcourt Homecare (Thurrock)

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of our service. We know how important social activities are to people so always try to ensure a carer is with you before 8 on Sundays to enable you to go to church.
