I was blessed 10 years ago with the opportunity to work in the care
sector, within a
short period of time I discovered I had a real passion for the job and
the way it allowed me to make a difference in people’s lives. I
realised my presence and assistance could make a real difference to
someone’s day, and I find this a privilege.
I truly feel that we all deserve respect and dignity and Person
centred care, just a smile and a friendly gesture could brighten
someone’s day. There is nothing that gives me greater joy than
experiencing the turnaround in regards to health and well being in our
clients and working with family and themselves for a better quality of
life.
As the Operations Director and Registered Manager I truly believe I
can practice and demonstrate that all care is delivered to all as an
equal, My ethos is and practiced as " Treat all clients as you would
want your loved ones to be cared for."
I have been in the care industry for over 15 years, starting off as a care assistant and working my way up through team leading duties and onto managerial positions.
Currently I am based in the office Monday to Friday and responsible for the coordination of care duties across the company. I have a great team at Equicare Services and because of this I enjoy coming to work every day.
My aim is to grow within the company and expand my knowledge further in Health and Social care in order to provide the highest level of service that both my clients and staff deserve.
Most of all I enjoy working with my clients, being able to help them and promote them in having their independence whilst living at home, despite needing help, is a great feeling and is very rewarding to know that I can help someone feel that little bit better knowing that they have the support.
