I looked into several agencies, but none responded in such a timely and professional way as Equicare. I met with the team, which included the boss, the planner and the Admin lead and I was amazed at the level of care and concern they showed. we started off with just 3 visits a week and now have daily visits. They are always available to discuss anything, they have great carers who are absolutely brilliant, my mum loves them and thinks of them as close friends. I trust them completely with my mum which says everything. I cannot recommend them highly enough, everyone is lovely, professional totally caring, flexible, you just could not ask for more.

We are long-standing users of Equicare, they provide home care support to my mum with dementia. The carers are kind, efficient and timely. Her carer is a particular favourite and spent time and patience supporting mum so she could attend her granddaughter's wedding recently. The management team are also supportive, with a particular mention to the Administrator who is always super helpful. I would recommend Equicare as a home care provider for older people.

We have been quite happy with the care provided by the carers at Equicare and they understand the needs of the service user. The carers arrive on time and perform their duties to a high standard.

It is working nicely at the moment. The staff are very happy with my son and he loves and recognises the lady that comes and is comfortable with her. She is on-time, discusses my son’s care with me, and plans ahead where she is taking him for care (and sends me the activity pictures).

I have been very happy with the agency staff. The management have always considered my needs and my child’s needs. They have always communicated efficiently regarding the rota and if I am happy with things. They were always available if there was a problem and the issue would be rectified quickly. The caring staff are helpful and friendly. I found them to be especially reassuring when my daughter's health deteriorated. It didn’t phase them and they were calm, confident and caring with my daughter and me.

Looked after my sister with care and respect, communication with family was excellent with wonderful carers. I highly recommend Equicare Services as they do treat clients with compassion and dignity.

Equicare looked after my mother very well. She had two carers in every day. She built up a particularly close relationship with the carer who came every morning. We found Equicare reliable and when on a few occasions there were questions or issues, they were very responsive on the phone. The management took an interest in how things were going and warned us in advance if a carer would be delayed or changed for any reason. I would recommend Equicare to friends and family.

This is the second time we have used Equicare. The carers we had were all very good. They were responsible for all our daughter's care needs, who is physically disabled with learning difficulties. They engaged with our daughter, something other agencies have not done. Our daughter was very happy with them (she is able to express dislike). They listened to our guidance regarding how to care for our daughter. They arrived on time (unlike other agencies we have used). The office staff were always very helpful.

The carers at Equicare Services were invaluable in assisting our family to offer the care and support that my Aunt required due to her ill health. They ensured that she was able to stay in her own home for as long as possible, which was her wish. Over the last few years, they provided a personal, informed, and caring service. They were patient, tolerant, and accepting of her needs and her struggles at times.

The care that my father received was outstanding. He always had the same carer and formed a very good bond with her. Initially, he was reluctant for care as he had been a very independent man but eventually he accepted the situation and the carer became a very good friend. It certainly made the last few months of my father's life more enjoyable. If I needed to contact the care company my requests were dealt with immediately and I also felt I was dealing with a friend. This helped me incredibly as I knew I had their support. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

This was my first time looking for care services for my dad but I couldn't have been in better hands. I contacted several companies but from the first conversation with Equicare, it was clear that they cared deeply and had an appreciation for the situation. In the midst of a difficult time, exacerbated by the COVID-19 context, help and advice was on offer even before care formally started. They were brilliant with my dad making the effort to ensure the same carer was available and he was very much at ease and looked forward to the visits each day. Equicare have been expert throughout and provided a level of support well beyond the daily visits that has eased the transition to care for my dad now he is back in his own home. I cannot thank them enough for making a challenging time that bit easier and better for all and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.

The carers were the best we have had, they treated Mum with respect and dignity and a great deal of passion. Very accommodating, I would highly recommend Equicare Services.

This agency has looked after my husband and also been very kind to me. We have a lovely lady that will always ask me if I am ok too. It’s nice to know there are good and trustworthy care companies out there. We love the manager and managing director, they also are always at hand to help. Thank you once again.

My family and I would like to say a huge thank you to this care company. Mum has her regular carer who is attentive and goes the extra mile. We have peace of mind with the care provided. Highly recommend this amazing care company.

I have the best carer ever, she always helps me in everything. I only like her because she is the only good one for me.

My brother was an alcoholic with all the associated problems. He received twice-weekly visits from Equicare initially there were some issues with a couple of carers but for the last 12 months everything has been fine with committed carers and support staff, unfortunately, my brother died Mid December.
