My mother was very well looked after by the carers who visited her. They were kind and all lovely people. When she fell over they dealt with her really well and I have the highest praise for this agency. I work and it meant I knew she was in good hands. Very highly recommended, reliable and well trained.
The result has been a Care Provider who has bonded brilliantly with my mother to develop a deep understanding of her feelings and needs. Just an hour a day has given my sister and me tremendous reassurance that our mother is being looked out for. We get calls and texts directly from the Carer (without any breach of trust with my mother) when any concerns become apparent and any action is required. For anyone seeking help with companionship, chores, including shopping or household chores I could not recommend this organisation more highly.
I have always been very satisfied with the care Seniors Helping Seniors provide because of punctuality and genuinely taking an interest in what activity I am involved in. Giving me confidence in going out to places is important and to involve outside interests. I do feel the hourly rate of pay is too much especially since VAT added and the personal care/nursing and involving tablets is not needed and allowed in this type of care.
Very pleased with the service provided. It gave us peace of mind when we were away on holiday. Mum enjoyed the visits from her carers. They were always polite and courteous and had a good sense of humour. Thank you xx
Attentive and empathetic, Seniors Helping Seniors is an amazing concept allowing patients to get the most out of social interaction. My dad has enjoyed this experience thoroughly. He gets to explore past experiences from his youthful days and the service provider has done a magnificent job in reconnecting him with things that he had not explored in a long time. Such as history, philosophy, music. She has really given him a quality of life.
My carers from this agency watered the required areas of the garden, picked ripe fruit and stored in the freezer, cleaned floors, washed, dried and ironed some of my clothes as required. Drove me to the shops for shoes and also food. Also, drove me to my hospital appointment, went with me to find the right place, waited until the end of the conversation and drove me back home - all in a friendly, helpful way which made it a pleasure to have them around and to talk to.
Fantastic service, wonderful staff, and always kept me in day to day contact via phone and texts, would recommend this company to all who need a little or a lot of extra help and support with family or loved ones.
Seniors Helping Seniors has been providing a companionship service for the past two years for an elderly friend of mine, for whom I hold Power of Attorney. I am very happy with your support and friendship, and would lke to say that the service you provide is, indeed, outstanding.
Seniors Helping Seniors respond promptly to my requests for carer cover which is such a help, and are always reliable. They allow me to enjoy without worry those aspects of my own life that I have been able to continue since my husband became ill. The carers who sit with my husband are all very experienced, empathic and extremely nice people. They fit in with his needs very sensitively. They are also happy to give me a hand with what housework I cannot manage myself, which is a great relief. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
My Mum came to live with me for six months due to ill health and I soon realized that it would be very challenging to run a business, study for my LLM and also take good care of my Mum. I came across a leaflet advertising the services of Seniors Helping Seniors when I took my Mum for a session at the Gentle Gym. From the very first telephone conversation, the Manager demonstrated a clear grasp of our requirements and subsequently always bent over backwards to accommodate my Mum's needs, even when we had to make changes to the schedule at short notice. Both he and his two nominated staff members always treated my Mum with unfailing courtesy and respect, whilst ensuring that she was always safe, warm when going out and well looked after.
I must admit that I was a bit nervous initially about leaving my Mum with "strangers" due to the cultural differences, but I need not have worried. My Mum now classes both the Manager and his team as dear friends and although she is now back in her home country, she regularly asks fondly after them.
I really cannot thank you enough and would have absolutely NO HESITATION in recommending your services !!
Bless you, Seniors Helping Seniors !!
