Excellent all-round service from both caregivers and management. Caregivers were compassionate when dealing with my parents and nothing was too much bother for them. They were always punctual for their appointments and were never rushed in anything that they did.

Any queries to the office were dealt with professionally and in a punctual manner.

We employed the services of Home Instead following my elderly mother’s stroke which left her with mobility and cognitive issues. The caregivers assigned to her were wonderful in every way. The kindness and patience they showed her allowed her to remain in her own home with dignity until she died. They were also extremely kind to all the family ensuring our questions and concerns were addressed and nothing was ever too much trouble. The management team provided an excellent care package that provided a good balance between the support we (the family) could provide without us becoming overwhelmed. An additional lovely touch was the caregivers attending her funeral as Mum had clearly become more than just a client to them. We will be forever grateful to all at Home Instead.

My father wants to remain at home and independent for as long as possible. As I live a long way away I needed to find care which would help him in as close a way as possible to a family member visiting him. I didn't want him to feel as if he was losing his decision-making and practical input on a day-to-day basis. Together with me ordering his food and supporting him from afar, his warden available for odd requests and the Home Instead carers we seem to have found a good solution.
What has been especially comforting is the carers slowly changing their input as Dad has changed in the last few years, without him feeling uncomfortable.
Having a small group of carers has been indispensable for him to feel at ease from the outset.

The Home Instead office has always replied quickly to my requests and has been extremely helpful when I have needed guidance.

My mother was discharged from the hospital frail, depressed and barely able to stand, I wasn’t hopeful of any further improvement. It was clear she would now need carers, and I chose Home Instead. The best decision I ever made, these people are the best! The change in my mother since November has been quite phenomenal. She has gained so much strength that she is now able to walk almost unaided and she is less anxious than she has been for a very long time, now that that her lovely carers are taking care of the household tasks. But the most fantastic change has been in her mood, daily conversations with her carers have made such a difference to her outlook on life and lifted her spirits enormously, she’s brighter and more cheerful and it’s all down to her care package. I really appreciate the care taken in matching her carers to her, knowing her 3 fantastic carers will arrive promptly at the same time daily is so good for minimising her stress. Impeccable care, and outstanding service!

My father has had Home Instead as his care provider for the past three and a half years. He has Parkinson’s and at the height of Covid his condition deteriorated considerably and following a hospitalisation we decided that he would benefit from care. His care team are fantastic and make sure he is taking his medication, help provide meals and do housework too. He wouldn’t be able to live independently without their help. We are truly appreciative of all of his wonderful care team and the difference they make to him.

Home instead is everything we had been looking for. An incredibly personal service and the care taken in choosing the perfect carer was phenomenal. They listened so carefully to the brief and were highly sensitive to a delicate situation whereby my parents were reluctant to accept that they needed some help. The carer came in as a housekeeper and gently started doing a few jobs with my mother and is rapidly morphing into the companion and friend that we need long term. It is an exceptional organisation and all of our family couldn't be more grateful.

Home Instead (Fareham and Gosport) have been supporting my mother to remain living independently in her own home full-time since September (and less frequently for a number of months before that).
We have found all the caregivers fantastic with Mum. They not only make sure she is fed and safe but also take the time to do lovely things with her, from taking her for a walk or out around the charity shops (her favourite) to running a bubble bath (and keeping an ear out whilst she enjoys it) or doing her nails.
It's been such a smooth transition from occasional to daily care, and Mum really looks forward to the visits. She doesn't yet need personal care, but I am confident that should the time come, she would be able to accept it from any one of the team, all of whom she is really fond of.

It's such a relief to have their support, and particularly, knowing they will listen and respond to any changes needed. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

It took us a while to find the right care agency to take care of my parents.

Home Instead was more expensive than most but was worth every penny. My parents liked the carers who came and Mum was soon happy to let them deal with her personal care needs. I was relieved that the carers spent time getting to know my parents and were regularly able to feedback any concerns to us. Always punctual and stayed the allocated time. We too felt supported and I can't speak highly enough of the whole service, carers or management.

A team of nine excellent carers has been supporting my father at home since he returned there after several months of convalescing in a nursing home. He is delighted with their support, without which he could not live at home on his own, and they have helped him become more independent. Thoroughly recommended.

All the carers that came were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were all keen to help and do anything to make things easier for my wife. They are not doing this just as a job, but they really care. They also arrived exactly at the agreed time and left when we were happy we didn't need anything else. First-class - 10 out of 10.
