Your company failed to come to my mum on weekends telling my mum there was no lunch call therefore in the morning could you make her a sandwich failing to remember that she has oxygen cylinders to change over.
As well as at the end just stopping her care all together and then saying that you were told to stop even though you told us through a letter as well as verbally that you were going to give us 28 days notice which you never gave.
Let's wait for care quality commission outcome because they are doing an investigation because it is as they say a safeguarding issue toward your company of the way you treated my mother, it was disgraceful and they are taking it up as well as social services let's see the outcome shall we!
We're truly sorry this experience has caused distress - that's never the outcome we want for any client or family. Weekend lunch visits were adjusted in agreement with your mum. Carers reminded her during morning visits, and a welfare call was made later that day to check she was comfortable -...
My mother has end stage COPD and was transferred to UKG Care to provide her with getting her up/putting to bed, and meals throughout the day. During these last few months of using this agency, there have been times when some of the young carers have not even known how to cook simple things, or even use the cooker. Sometimes they wouldn't even turn up, leaving mum to fend for herself. They've now given mum 28 days notice stating they can't provide for her anymore. They didn't even turn up to give mum her dinner last night. We complained on Facebook, and they then blocked us!! The family are 1.5hrs away, and we're all disgusted with their behavior. This is negligence and we'll be taking this further!
We truly understand your frustration. However, UKG Care followed all formal procedures, including issuing 28 days' notice and maintaining open communication with all parties involved. On the final day, we were instructed in writing by CCG to conclude care after the morning call, with the new...
Thank you to the carers and the team.

Every carer was kind, respectful and professional and took their time to provide the best possible care to my mum.
Thank you.
We're deeply touched by your words and honoured to have been there for you and your mum during such a challenging time. It means the world to us to know that our carers were able to provide the kindness, respect and care your family deserved. We're here for you whenever you need us and we're grateful for the trust you've placed in us. Thank you again for sharing your experience!
At my time of life, I don't do reviews but UKG Care has been exceptional, from their office staff to all of their carers. My wife has help every morning. They all carry out all of my wife's requirements with a kind and happy manner. She looks forward to seeing them every day, which starts her day feeling bright and happy. One of her main carers should be called "Tina Turner" because she is simply the best.
Thank you for taking the time to complete our review. I am glad that you are happy with the service you are receiving. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any issues in the future.
Excellent set of carers, very grateful for the help and support provided by the whole company, could not have managed without them. Truly fabulous and caring, professional and reliable, would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that our team has made a positive impact and provided the support you needed. It's truly rewarding to know that our efforts are appreciated. Your recommendation means a lot to us. If there's anything else we can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
This review should cover 2023/24. Whilst the care staff are generally excellent, the management of this company is not. I am constantly having to phone about the roster. Changes are made without confirmation or notification, not even a phone call. Last night was a typical example when we were expecting one carer and another turned up. Another issue is timekeeping. We expect someone at one time and they turn up at another. I once tried to talk to the branch manager about our situation and was promptly told to speak to the rostering department. It seemed beneath her to speak to me. Last night I had the phone put down on me under the excuse that the person suddenly couldn’t hear me. When I phoned back another person answered who had no trouble hearing me at all. I have now advised the company we will not train any more staff and that if anyone shows up for a duty who is new they will not be admitted. It’s happened too many times (over a dozen) after 8 months and still no regular team.
We deeply regret the experience you've had with our services. It's truly important to us that every interaction leaves you feeling valued and supported. I want to assure you that our Registered Manager has reached out to address your concerns and has initiated our complaints procedure to thoroughly...
Very happy with the carers, very satisfied but not happy with my times keep changing all the time. If you haven't got enough staff, carers etc, would be a good idea to get the agency back up, don't agree with walkers with being winter, them getting wet worries me.
Firstly, I'm glad to inform you that the walkers choose their shifts...

Thank you for your positive feedback! Our team strives to provide the best care possible and it's great to know that we have met your expectations.
UKG care has been my father's first experience of home care. His care started early August. He appears to have had a good experience with the carers so far. He looks forward to their visits and appreciates the social interaction and reassurance that they provide. The family have been grateful for the communications via a notebook and phone when required.

It is nice that he gets the same carers. With dementia, he gets confused, plus he seems to have trust in them but if he gets new ones he seems to play up so it's been nice for him. Just a big thank you to you all for the care you give him which makes me feel better.

My parents are very happy with the care provided. There were a few teething problems initially getting times and carers in place but it didn’t take long for everything to be smoothed out. Now we have a consistent carer and the times that suit my parents in place. Communication is good, generally, they know who is coming in advance. Overall, very happy.

On the whole, very satisfactory. There are one or two carers who I don't think are as capable as some. Most come in with a smile and are chatty, always ask if there is anything they can do like a cup of tea and the like. Thank you for your help.
