All staff very helpful and pleasant when helping my wife have a shower.
The only problem was on one occasion someone came who had never been before, which was difficult! Usually, we have one of 2 or 3 people whom we know.
Also, occasionally they arrive a bit late, but usually not a problem unless
we are going out at a particular time.
Excellent emergency service also. We have needed help to lift my wife off the floor after falls on 3 occasions and someone has come each time within 30 mins or less. Office staff are also always very helpful and pleasant on the phone.

I would like to thank everyone at Gleberry for their unstinting support for my sister during a difficult time for us all.
The professionalism and personal care were of the highest standard.
The physical and practical support was matched by the warm and friendly way in which it was delivered.
Thank
you again.

I cannot fault the wonderful care our mum received at such very short notice over the holiday period! We spoke to the manager late Saturday afternoon with my mum and the care started Sunday morning. Gleberry was wonderful, kind, helpful and caring. Thank you!

My mum is fiercely independent but has deteriorating health. Our first step to getting some support in the home has been the highly recommended Gleberry Support. I have been so impressed by the support my mum has received from the amazing staff, with their kindness and understanding of her situation.
One of the staff even supported us in getting a hospital bed. The ladies are punctual, come in with a smile on their faces, will do anything requested and are so kind to my mum. The manager is even trying very hard to adapt the times of visits to my mum's routine. I cannot fault this service and it is a huge relief to me as I live far away from Burbage.

What nice, kind and considerate people they are. I cannot fault them at all. They ask me if I have taken my medication and if I want anything to eat. They tolerate my daft dogs. I have no complaints at all. I consider myself very lucky to have them as my carers. I have been encouraged to go out, which
I had stopped doing, and have been taken to meet other people.

My wife has dementia and needs care at home. I have used Gleberry Support for a few months now and I am very pleased with the service and the carers. Easy communication on message. If I need a carer urgently they do their best to provide one the same day. Very reliable service and I recommend it.

I've received care from this company and I'm very satisfied with the care that I've been given. The ladies are polite and very experienced. The company has trained these ladies very well and to a very high standard from personal care to shopping for toilet roll.
I would recommend this company if your
loved one needed help. The rates are reasonable and what you receive is quality and kindness from this company. So if you are thinking of care get in touch, like me. I'm happy and delighted with the service.

Gleberry Support carers are absolute angels. As a carer for a mum who has mixed dementia and can be aggressive, the carers have been a godsend. When Mum refuses for them to help her, they will try different ways to get around the problem. They think outside the box. They also help with changing the
bed, laundry, washing up, and hoovering. This all helps to take the pressure off. All the carers have lovely personalities and genuinely care for Mum. I definitely recommend Gleberry. All the staff are friendly and supportive. We couldn't ask for more.

I have always found Gleberry to be really helpful and supportive. I know they’ll always be there when I need them. The service users were really good with my uncle and supported him well. They would provide him with personal care and support, companionship and take him out for meals and trips. My uncle
really liked the staff and managers alike.
Unfortunately, my uncle passed away in December but the manager who visited him on the day he died stayed with him and me until after he passed away. This I feel is going above and beyond and I really appreciate their support during this difficult time. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

Glebery offers amazing care for my mental health. They enable me to get out and about. They work around my individual needs to enable me to live more independently. The support workers are kind and caring and go above and beyond to help me feel cared and supported. They take me to appointments, help
with the housework and also their social groups means I'm able to get out into the community while feeling supported. The social activities enable me to meet other clients. With a wide range of different activities including going out for food, playing bingo or even to the garden centre. This helps me to feel supported and enjoy the time out. They also manage my medication to enable me to be safe and dispense my medication with ease. Not only do they offer the hours of care they also support me by phone which is always nice to know. Highly recommend to offer individual care.

I can't praise the service I received from Gleberry Support enough. They were able to provide carers within 24 hours when I was finally able to bring my husband home from hospital. My husband got on really well with the young man allocated to us, and the young lady who took over. They were caring, conscientious
and professional, treating him with dignity and gentleness.

We have employed Gleberry for two and a half years, the contract has run smoothly throughout, with all relevant information and care notes regularly reviewed and updated. The care notes app was updated accurately on each visit. Variations in needs were actioned and acknowledged quickly. All carers were
well-trained, professional and pleasant. The care team didn't change much over time so care user got to know them as friends. Their smiles, conversation and company gave comfort during her long illness. The carers were alert to any additional needs and worked as a team with family and professionals. The care user's needs were the sole priority and nothing was too much trouble when occasionally flexibility in care plan was needed. Sadly our care user passed away and the kindness and sympathy was also extended to family.

Gleberry Support cared for my father-in-law and mother-in-law for several years. During this time, their staff members were courteous, caring and efficient. Timekeeping was good and they were always prepared to make extra visits whenever necessary, even at short notice. They treated my in-laws with
good humour, cheerfulness and sensitivity, always preserving their dignity. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.951) out of 10 for Gleberry Support is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 31 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 31 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.951 for Gleberry Support is calculated as follows: ( (174 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 183 Ratings = 4.951
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Gleberry Support is based on 31 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2013

I am the Registered Manager at Gleberry Support. I have seen many changes within homecare and faced many challenges, including Covid! Previously, I have experience of working within the Health Care Sector, my aim for Gleberry was to deliver good quality person-centred care at an affordable price, and that's what we do!

My favourite thing about working in care is meeting new people and getting to know them, knowing that we are supporting them in a way that meets their needs and preferences. I really enjoy finding ways that we can make something happen, instead of saying no, we can't do that. An example of this was when we started Gleberry Trips, we were struggling with a wheelchair accessible vehicle, so we took away that worry and Gleberry now owns their first Wheelchair accessible minibus, removing barriers and making things easier for our local community.

You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training and of course supporting our service users.

I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF) plus many more.

My favourite thing about working in care is the variety of my day, no two days are the same, and I really do enjoy meeting and chatting with our service users. I especially used to love hearing about War Time stories with ex-veterans, which sadly are now in decline.
