Gleberry Support was established in April 2013 (previously known as Prestige Care 247) with the main aim to offer person centred care in the community. Over the years they have added
and changed their service to meet the needs and requirements of service users. They work on the basis that the staff team and service users are equally important. They continually invest in their services and adapt to the ever changing needs of the sector.

The following packages are available:

Hourly Care: Covering hours between 6 am to 11 pm every day. Bank holiday cover also available.

Sitting service/around the clock care: Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Bank holiday cover also available. Hourly charge rates are reduced for 24-hour care packages.

Gleberry Support Hinckley can only accept a minimum of 1-hour visit time slots.

Gleberry Support Hinckley offers the following services:

Hourly care, 24-hour care, P.A. Services, accessing the community, personal care, shopping, general cleaning, live in care, assistance going to appointments, emergency support at night, support with going on holiday, activities support and health issues.

Please allow 30-60 minutes for a thorough, no-obligation assessment in your own home.
Gleberry Support are unable to accept packages without an initial assessment being carried out.

Any risks, or additional equipment that may be needed
The times and visit length that is required

The team at Prestige care looked after our stepmother, during the last few weeks of her life. They were absolutely amazing, so kind, compassionate and hard-working.

I have been allocated just two regular carers both are very kind and willing and have strengths in different ways complementing each other. Whether mopping and polishing,preparing tastymeals or giving me a good wash both seem to be happy doing everything to please me. The owner is just lovely and it
has to be said obviously chooses trains and maintains staff with the same lovely personality and kindness as herself, a great business model. I know that whatever crops up she will just be at the end of the phone to get it sorted.

Everyone in the organisation seems to be lovely and Mum is very happy with the ladies who visit her twice a week they are always very willing to assist her with her needs. The WhatsApp group is a great way of being kept informed.

After the easing of the restrictions put in place due to the virus, we contacted the company and they recommend a carer who would be suitable for our family. We organised a meet and greet in our garden. As this went very well and all of us were happy, we have booked a few hours for the carer and the
service user to spend together. This was very successful and we are looking forward to the next time.

I contacted Prestige Care in the period between Christmas and new year hoping that they would be able to provide care for my mum to facilitate her discharge from hospital, expecting a suggestion for care to start in the new year. Prestige Care attended to assess my mum on new years day and to her great
relieve, agreed to begin her package of care on the same day.
The carers visiting my mum were always very friendly, caring and supported her recovery. Mum felt that she could not have received better care.
If the need for care for my mum arises again, she would not hesitate in contacting Prestige care again.

Prestige Care currently provides care for my terminally ill sister. My sister's wish was to pass away in her own home. Prestige Care offered a care package that fitted my sister's needs. The staff were always willing to fit in with family, who were able to provide some of the care required. Friendly

I am so grateful to Prestige Care 247 for delivering such a professional and reliable service. The management and carers are very kind and helpful. My son is very happy with the way he is looked after- with dignity, respect, compassion and friendliness.

I cannot rate everyone at Prestige Care highly enough. After an acute onset of illness, our family were at crisis point when we were needing to be with father-in-law for 24 hours as he was very confused, unable to eat and drink and completely immobile. He became unsafe to be left after falling 3 times
in just 4 hours. After a telephone call, 2 managers came out immediately and assessed our needs and rearranged all Staff Rotas to be able to support us the very next day and as the needs changed again altered things for us. This helped avoid a hospital admission as well as a nervous breakdown for me! Nothing has been too much trouble and they are still willing to alter things to cater for our needs. I cannot thank them highly enough.

Prestige Care 247 have been assisting my parents now for 6 weeks. We have been very impressed with their empathy and understanding - both parents have forms of dementia. Helping around the house and sitting and talking with them for an hour has proved invaluable. The ability to receive daily updates
is particularly useful, providing a direct link with our parents. We were concerned that our parents may not want carers, or perhaps not get on with them - we should not have worried. Prestige are well-liked and we've had a couple of minor 'emergencies' out of hours, which Prestige have dealt with brilliantly. We had a four-weekly review and will repeat that in future to make sure that we continue to maximise the benefits of working with Prestige Care 247.

Used the service to provide some support for mum whilst I was on holiday. Everyone from the agency was very friendly and the set up was easy. Mum was very impressed with the service. She had 6 visits over 2 weeks and saw the same person for all but one visit. They did a little bit of shopping and provided
company. Will definitely use them again to provide myself and my husband peace of mind whilst we are away.

We use Prestige twice daily at the weekends to check up and offer support to our elderly aunt who lives in her own home and suffers with dementia. Our aunt is generally self-caring but needs reminders to get herself a proper meal (Prestige help with this) to drink regularly and take her medication.
Auntie loves the visits from the care team and is assured that someone is going to 'pop in' for a chat and a cuppa. We, as relatives, have the knowledge that if anything is wrong or Auntie is not well we will immediately be contacted, we get regular updates throughout the weekend direct from the carers who visit and have the peace of mind to know that should we go away on holiday or away for the weekend they know Auntie and her wishes.

This care company was recommended to me by someone who had used them previously. I have been using Prestige since Jan 2019. I cannot praise them highly enough. My parents both have Alzheimer's and in addition, my dad has Parkinson's. The office staff are very friendly, accommodating and flexible
for my requirements. The care staff are excellent, they arrive on time and stay for the full time they are supposed to be there for. And if they have completed the care needs they will complete other tasks that need to around the house. Absolutely brilliant.

Seth

Seth Nkomo

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2013

I am the Registered Manager at Gleberry Support. I have seen many changes within homecare and faced many challenges, including Covid! Previously, I have experience of working within the Health Care Sector, my aim for Gleberry was to deliver good quality person-centred care at an affordable price, and that's what we do!


My favourite thing about working in care is meeting new people and getting to know them, knowing that we are supporting them in a way that meets their needs and preferences. I really enjoy finding ways that we can make something happen, instead of saying no, we can't do that. An example of this was when we started Gleberry Trips, we were struggling with a wheelchair accessible vehicle, so we took away that worry and Gleberry now owns their first Wheelchair accessible minibus, removing barriers and making things easier for our local community.


You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training and of course supporting our service users.


I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF) plus many more.

Robert Charumbwidza

Job Title: Nominated Individual Joined: 2013

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2013, and I am the nominated individual. I am also the Foot Health Practitioner and Ear Care Specialist.


My favourite thing about working in care is interacting with our service users and clients. I love to chat and have a laugh with them. I am passionate about delivering high-quality care that meets our service users' needs.


You will see me out in the community, delivering staff training and, of course, supporting our service users, with care calls, Foot Care visits or Ear Care visits.


I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, and I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication, and Basic Life Support.


I also have a Level 3 Award in Education & Training, Certificate in Human Resource Management, Ear Wax Removal Course for Health Professionals, Diploma in Foot Health Practice (DipCFHP), and I am on the Alliance Register.

Stacey Hibbert

Job Title: Compliance Manager Joined: 2021

I've been working for Gleberry Support since February 2021. I started working as a Support Worker, and have held many different positions over my time, from Senior Carer, Deputy Manager, to my current role of Compliance Manager.


My favourite thing about working in care is the variety of my day, no two days are the same, and I really do enjoy meeting and chatting with our service users. I especially used to love hearing about War Time stories with ex-veterans, which sadly are now in decline.


You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training
and of course supporting our service users.


I currently hold my Level 4 Care Management and am working towards my Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Care. I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF)

Job Title: Finance/ Payroll Manager Joined: 2018

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2018. I started as a Support Worker, and now work in our accounts and payroll department.


My favourite thing about my job is that no two days are the same; it's fast-paced and challenging at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.


I currently hold my Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. I also have qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding.


I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism that I obtained in 2008. I'm currently working on my AAT Qualification.
