Prestige Care currently provides care for my terminally ill sister. My sister's wish was to pass away in her own home. Prestige Care offered a care package that fitted my sister's needs. The staff were always willing to fit in with family, who were able to provide some of the care required. Friendly and helpful staff provided professional, flexible service.

Prestige Care has been so very caring, understanding, professional, reliable, helpful. I highly recommend them. They have been terrific, 2 members of staff in particular, but, all the staff I encountered were all very caring indeed. Thank you all so very much. I simply cannot thank you all enough.

I am so grateful to Prestige Care 247 for delivering such a professional and reliable service. The management and carers are very kind and helpful. My son is very happy with the way he is looked after- with dignity, respect, compassion and friendliness.

We really appreciate the flexibility and responsiveness of the service. Knowing that my son is in good hands gives us peace of mind and allows his much-needed independence and dignity. We could not ask for a better care company to help our family.

I cannot rate everyone at Prestige Care highly enough. After an acute onset of illness, our family were at crisis point when we were needing to be with father-in-law for 24 hours as he was very confused, unable to eat and drink and completely immobile. He became unsafe to be left after falling 3 times in just 4 hours. After a telephone call, 2 managers came out immediately and assessed our needs and rearranged all Staff Rotas to be able to support us the very next day and as the needs changed again altered things for us. This helped avoid a hospital admission as well as a nervous breakdown for me! Nothing has been too much trouble and they are still willing to alter things to cater for our needs. I cannot thank them highly enough.

Prestige Care 247 have been assisting my parents now for 6 weeks. We have been very impressed with their empathy and understanding - both parents have forms of dementia. Helping around the house and sitting and talking with them for an hour has proved invaluable. The ability to receive daily updates is particularly useful, providing a direct link with our parents. We were concerned that our parents may not want carers, or perhaps not get on with them - we should not have worried. Prestige are well-liked and we've had a couple of minor 'emergencies' out of hours, which Prestige have dealt with brilliantly. We had a four-weekly review and will repeat that in future to make sure that we continue to maximise the benefits of working with Prestige Care 247.

Used the service to provide some support for mum whilst I was on holiday. Everyone from the agency was very friendly and the set up was easy. Mum was very impressed with the service. She had 6 visits over 2 weeks and saw the same person for all but one visit. They did a little bit of shopping and provided company. Will definitely use them again to provide myself and my husband peace of mind whilst we are away.

We use Prestige twice daily at the weekends to check up and offer support to our elderly aunt who lives in her own home and suffers with dementia. Our aunt is generally self-caring but needs reminders to get herself a proper meal (Prestige help with this) to drink regularly and take her medication. Auntie loves the visits from the care team and is assured that someone is going to 'pop in' for a chat and a cuppa. We, as relatives, have the knowledge that if anything is wrong or Auntie is not well we will immediately be contacted, we get regular updates throughout the weekend direct from the carers who visit and have the peace of mind to know that should we go away on holiday or away for the weekend they know Auntie and her wishes.

This care company was recommended to me by someone who had used them previously. I have been using Prestige since Jan 2019. I cannot praise them highly enough. My parents both have Alzheimer's and in addition, my dad has Parkinson's. The office staff are very friendly, accommodating and flexible for my requirements. The care staff are excellent, they arrive on time and stay for the full time they are supposed to be there for. And if they have completed the care needs they will complete other tasks that need to around the house. Absolutely brilliant.

My mother has been under the care of Prestige 247 since September 2017 and the service it provides is excellent. The carers are very efficient, empathetic and professional. They contact other agencies (district nurses, doctors and hospitals) on my behalf if necessary and have even visited my mother during short stays in local hospitals, which maintains their continuity of care. They offer a very personal service and are contactable 24 hours a day with a call out service if needed.

I've recommended Prestige 247 to other people who've asked me if I know a care company that is reliable and offers a high level of service.

We have been using Prestige Care for four weeks now and so far they have been very reliable and on time as promised. Where there is a member of new staff, they accompany an existing member of staff for training purposes and this has proved invaluable for continuity and professionalism. An excellent care company who we would have no hesitance in recommending.

Professional, accessible and flexible, the Prestige Care 247 team have been fantastic in caring for my ageing father who also suffers from onset dementia/Alzheimer's. Despite my father's initial reservations about homecare, they were able to quickly win him over with their genuine attention to care while keeping the rest of the family abreast of his condition.

All-in-all, a great service from a great team - thank you.

Seth Nkomo Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2013
Seth Nkomo

I am the Registered Manager at Gleberry Support. I have seen many changes within homecare and faced many challenges, including Covid! Previously, I have experience of working within the Health Care Sector, my aim for Gleberry was to deliver good quality person-centred care at an affordable price, and that's what we do!

My favourite thing about working in care is meeting new people and getting to know them, knowing that we are supporting them in a way that meets their needs and preferences. I really enjoy finding ways that we can make something happen, instead of saying no, we can't do that. An example of this was when we started Gleberry Trips, we were struggling with a wheelchair accessible vehicle, so we took away that worry and Gleberry now owns their first Wheelchair accessible minibus, removing barriers and making things easier for our local community.

You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training and of course supporting our service users.

I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF) plus many more.

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2013, and I am the nominated individual. I am also the Foot Health Practitioner and Ear Care Specialist.

My favourite thing about working in care is interacting with our service users and clients. I love to chat and have a laugh with them. I am passionate about delivering high-quality care that meets our service users' needs.

You will see me out in the community, delivering staff training and, of course, supporting our service users, with care calls, Foot Care visits or Ear Care visits.

I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, and I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication, and Basic Life Support.

I also have a Level 3 Award in Education & Training, Certificate in Human Resource Management, Ear Wax Removal Course for Health Professionals, Diploma in Foot Health Practice (DipCFHP), and I am on the Alliance Register.

Stacey Hibbert

I've been working for Gleberry Support since February 2021. I started working as a Support Worker, and have held many different positions over my time, from Senior Carer, Deputy Manager, to my current role of Compliance Manager.

My favourite thing about working in care is the variety of my day, no two days are the same, and I really do enjoy meeting and chatting with our service users. I especially used to love hearing about War Time stories with ex-veterans, which sadly are now in decline.

You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training

and of course supporting our service users.

I currently hold my Level 4 Care Management and am working towards my Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Care. I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF)

Lumi Ndaba Job Title: Finance/ Payroll Manager Joined: 2018

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2018. I started as a Support Worker, and now work in our accounts and payroll department.

My favourite thing about my job is that no two days are the same; it's fast-paced and challenging at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I currently hold my Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. I also have qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism that I obtained in 2008. I'm currently working on my AAT Qualification.
