Gleberry Support was established in April 2013 (previously known as Prestige Care 247) with the main aim to offer person centred care in the community. Over the years they have added
and changed their service to meet the needs and requirements of service users. They work on the basis that the staff team and service users are equally important. They continually invest in their services and adapt to the ever changing needs of the sector.

The following packages are available:

Hourly Care: Covering hours between 6 am to 11 pm every day. Bank holiday cover also available.

Sitting service/around the clock care: Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Bank holiday cover also available. Hourly charge rates are reduced for 24-hour care packages.

Gleberry Support Hinckley can only accept a minimum of 1-hour visit time slots.

Gleberry Support Hinckley offers the following services:

Hourly care, 24-hour care, P.A. Services, accessing the community, personal care, shopping, general cleaning, live in care, assistance going to appointments, emergency support at night, support with going on holiday, activities support and health issues.

Please allow 30-60 minutes for a thorough, no-obligation assessment in your own home.
Gleberry Support are unable to accept packages without an initial assessment being carried out.

During the assessment you and a team member will discuss the following:
Care needs and wants
Any risks, or additional equipment that may be needed
The times and visit length that is required

Since Prestige Care 247 have been in charge of my care, my life has become much easier and much better. My Carers are fantastic and I am completely at ease with them. When joining Prestige I asked for only a couple of Carers at the most and not the 10-20 I've had with previous companies. I fully expected
Prestige to be like those previous companies, but they have understood and gave me exactly what I needed. My Carers are wonderful and I now consider them part of the family. They are honestly hands down the best Carers I have ever had and I've had care for 20 years now. I had to go through a lot of care companies before I found the best which are Prestige Care 247! I would trust them to look after any of my family.

Prestige Care 247 were fantastic when we needed overnight care for my 95 yr old father. He was unable to get in and out of bed safely and had been falling and spending hours during the night stuck in the bathroom or sitting in a chair when unable to get back into bed.
The staff were very professional
and the carers treated my Dad with dignity and compassion. He developed an excellent rapport with his main carer particularly and spoke very highly of him to all the family.
It brought about an amazing transformation from doddery, confused and vulnerable old man, really suffering from lack of sleep and struggling with personal hygiene and activities of daily living to a normal, well rested chap with a renewed zest for life. He was able to really enjoy his last 6 months of life to the full as a result of the night carers.
Many thanks to all involved.

Prestige Care 247 have been caring for my father on a daily basis for about 6 months, my dad has been very comfortable and looks forward to their visits every day. He was very reluctant to have care from a previous experience, but we have found Prestige Care to be very caring and kind,offering excellent
and extremely reliable care. This is very comforting to the family to know he is being cared for by a very genuine company who have my father's interest at heart.

We were desperate for immediate assistance with caring for my parents, I found Prestige Care 247 on the web, called them, late evening and 45 minutes later they had carers in place to look after my step-father that had been discharged from hospital at very short notices.
All of the staff I have encountered
are exceptional, friendly caring individuals. Very good at getting elderly parents that do not want to eat, to actually eat something - this is done in a very caring way ensuring they have enough nutrition in their meals.
They even clean the house and do the laundry. I cannot thank the manager and her team enough, with them onsite, I have complete peace of mind.


As I do not live local, I even receive updates from them on how things are going. First class company.

Seth

Seth Nkomo

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2013

I am the Registered Manager at Gleberry Support. I have seen many changes within homecare and faced many challenges, including Covid! Previously, I have experience of working within the Health Care Sector, my aim for Gleberry was to deliver good quality person-centred care at an affordable price, and that's what we do!


My favourite thing about working in care is meeting new people and getting to know them, knowing that we are supporting them in a way that meets their needs and preferences. I really enjoy finding ways that we can make something happen, instead of saying no, we can't do that. An example of this was when we started Gleberry Trips, we were struggling with a wheelchair accessible vehicle, so we took away that worry and Gleberry now owns their first Wheelchair accessible minibus, removing barriers and making things easier for our local community.


You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training and of course supporting our service users.


I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF) plus many more.

Robert Charumbwidza

Job Title: Nominated Individual

Joined: 2013

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2013, and I am the nominated individual. I am also the Foot Health Practitioner and Ear Care Specialist.


My favourite thing about working in care is interacting with our service users and clients. I love to chat and have a laugh with them. I am passionate about delivering high-quality care that meets our service users' needs.


You will see me out in the community, delivering staff training and, of course, supporting our service users, with care calls, Foot Care visits or Ear Care visits.


I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, and I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication, and Basic Life Support.


I also have a Level 3 Award in Education & Training, Certificate in Human Resource Management, Ear Wax Removal Course for Health Professionals, Diploma in Foot Health Practice (DipCFHP), and I am on the Alliance Register.

Stacey Hibbert

Job Title: Compliance Manager

Joined: 2021

I've been working for Gleberry Support since February 2021. I started working as a Support Worker, and have held many different positions over my time, from Senior Carer, Deputy Manager, to my current role of Compliance Manager.


My favourite thing about working in care is the variety of my day, no two days are the same, and I really do enjoy meeting and chatting with our service users. I especially used to love hearing about War Time stories with ex-veterans, which sadly are now in decline.


You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training
and of course supporting our service users.


I currently hold my Level 4 Care Management and am working towards my Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Care. I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF)

Job Title: Finance/ Payroll Manager

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2018. I started as a Support Worker, and now work in our accounts and payroll department.


My favourite thing about my job is that no two days are the same; it's fast-paced and challenging at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.


I currently hold my Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. I also have qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding.


I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism that I obtained in 2008. I'm currently working on my AAT Qualification.
