Gleberry Support was established in April 2013 (previously known as Prestige Care 247) with the main aim to offer person centred care in the community. Over the years they have added
and changed their service to meet the needs and requirements of service users. They work on the basis that the staff team and service users are equally important. They continually invest in their services and adapt to the ever changing needs of the sector.

The following packages are available:

Hourly Care: Covering hours between 6 am to 11 pm every day. Bank holiday cover also available.

Sitting service/around the clock care: Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Bank holiday cover also available. Hourly charge rates are reduced for 24-hour care packages.

Gleberry Support Hinckley can only accept a minimum of 1-hour visit time slots.

Gleberry Support Hinckley offers the following services:

Hourly care, 24-hour care, P.A. Services, accessing the community, personal care, shopping, general cleaning, live in care, assistance going to appointments, emergency support at night, support with going on holiday, activities support and health issues.

Please allow 30-60 minutes for a thorough, no-obligation assessment in your own home.
Gleberry Support are unable to accept packages without an initial assessment being carried out.

Any risks, or additional equipment that may be needed
The times and visit length that is required

I changed to this agency last September after a poor experience with another! It has gone beyond my expectations in so many ways! The carers are fabulous, dedicated professionals who are so good with my adult daughter! Being a full-time carer and working full-time is never an easy job but Gleberry has

I cannot speak highly enough of this care provider, very approachable in all aspects and nothing was too much trouble for them. Sadly, I have lost my mum now, but she loved all her carers and they actually took time in talking to her and didn’t rush, they used to make her laugh a lot but were very professional
as well. I used to ring to ask at short notice if they could do an extra call... no problem. For me and my mum, they are exceptionally good at what they do because they actually care.

Gleberry Support Hinckley are providing foot care for our wheelchair-bound disabled daughter who resides in a care home.
They are professional in their approach, considerate of her condition and reliable in attending her each visit.
The quality of work is excellent and her foot condition has improved
dramatically since commencing the visits to her.

I was apprehensive when it came to accepting help with looking after my husband, but I realised I needed a break. Gleberry Support has been amazing with my husband, who suffers from Dementia. We've had a few different carers, and all have been understanding and considerate during their visits.

My husband had a stroke in December 2021 and we needed to find a good agency. The agency was recommended mainly due to a good CQC rating, but we warmed to the lady who came to see us and felt we were in good hands. My husband sadly had bouts of delirium, particularly overnight, though these were controlled
to a degree after some months by an antipsychotic drug. Thanks to our overnight carers these were admirably managed, even when they had to sit up all night because he wouldn't go to bed. He could be very difficult but was always treated with great respect and quiet gentleness, both by the daytime and overnight carers. On one Sunday, when I had family staying and no overnight help planned, he became quite aggressive and I had to phone for help. Overnight care was put in place within the hour. One thing which I appreciated was the care given to me. I could always be sure of not just a listening ear, but also of some wise advice from an experienced professional. Thank you.

I have found all the staff and management, very friendly and respectful to Mum. Even if they have not had a lot to do, they have a chat with her and make sure she is okay. They make sure she takes her medication and 40 sips which is a great help.

Seth

Seth Nkomo

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2013

I am the Registered Manager at Gleberry Support. I have seen many changes within homecare and faced many challenges, including Covid! Previously, I have experience of working within the Health Care Sector, my aim for Gleberry was to deliver good quality person-centred care at an affordable price, and that's what we do!


My favourite thing about working in care is meeting new people and getting to know them, knowing that we are supporting them in a way that meets their needs and preferences. I really enjoy finding ways that we can make something happen, instead of saying no, we can't do that. An example of this was when we started Gleberry Trips, we were struggling with a wheelchair accessible vehicle, so we took away that worry and Gleberry now owns their first Wheelchair accessible minibus, removing barriers and making things easier for our local community.


You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training and of course supporting our service users.


I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF) plus many more.

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2013, and I am the nominated individual. I am also the Foot Health Practitioner and Ear Care Specialist.


My favourite thing about working in care is interacting with our service users and clients. I love to chat and have a laugh with them. I am passionate about delivering high-quality care that meets our service users' needs.


You will see me out in the community, delivering staff training and, of course, supporting our service users, with care calls, Foot Care visits or Ear Care visits.


I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, and I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication, and Basic Life Support.


I also have a Level 3 Award in Education & Training, Certificate in Human Resource Management, Ear Wax Removal Course for Health Professionals, Diploma in Foot Health Practice (DipCFHP), and I am on the Alliance Register.

Job Title: Compliance Manager

I've been working for Gleberry Support since February 2021. I started working as a Support Worker, and have held many different positions over my time, from Senior Carer, Deputy Manager, to my current role of Compliance Manager.


My favourite thing about working in care is the variety of my day, no two days are the same, and I really do enjoy meeting and chatting with our service users. I especially used to love hearing about War Time stories with ex-veterans, which sadly are now in decline.


You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training
and of course supporting our service users.


I currently hold my Level 4 Care Management and am working towards my Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Care. I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF)

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2018. I started as a Support Worker, and now work in our accounts and payroll department.


My favourite thing about my job is that no two days are the same; it's fast-paced and challenging at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.


I currently hold my Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. I also have qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding.


I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism that I obtained in 2008. I'm currently working on my AAT Qualification.
