Overall Experience

We have employed Gleberry for two and a half years, the contract has run smoothly throughout, with all relevant information and care notes regularly reviewed and updated. The care notes app was updated accurately on each visit. Variations in needs were actioned and acknowledged quickly. All carers were well-trained, professional and pleasant. The care team didn't change much over time so care user got to know them as friends. Their smiles, conversation and company gave comfort during her long illness. The carers were alert to any additional needs and worked as a team with family and professionals. The care user's needs were the sole priority and nothing was too much trouble when occasionally flexibility in care plan was needed. Sadly our care user passed away and the kindness and sympathy was also extended to family.

Excellent reliable service complimented by efficient, well trained and friendly staff, where nothing is too much trouble. Staff become friends and part of the family. Involving the wider family and great communication takes the pressure off the relatives, knowing professional care is always available.

The carers are always communicative with us about any issues and will often go out of their way for Mum. Mum has never complained about any one of the ladies and always has positive things to say about the carers.

Gleberry Support cared for my father-in-law and mother-in-law for several years. During this time, their staff members were courteous, caring and efficient. Timekeeping was good and they were always prepared to make extra visits whenever necessary, even at short notice. They treated my in-laws with good humour, cheerfulness and sensitivity, always preserving their dignity. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My elderly grandfather found himself in sudden need of support following illness. Gleberry came round to do an initial assessment at extremely short notice the evening we made first contact, which was the first sign of the dedication and quality of the service. From there we found all the carers and management to be kind, friendly and professional. They assisted with all aspects of arranging care, including live-in care for grandad and we felt in safe hands throughout. Overall I was blown away by the service and would recommend to anyone.

Overall Experience

I used the services of a chiropodist provided by Gleberry Support. My mum refused any help/care and her toe nails were in a dreadful state. The Chiropodist came to my mum's home on two occasions and did a great job on her toe nails. He is such a lovely man - very happy and smiley, patient, calm and kind. He succeeded where I had failed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and it was well worth the money for this service. Unfortunately, my mum has now been admitted to a residential care home and will probably be having a different chiropodist. However, well done and thanks to the chiropodist for doing a great job!

A massive thank you to Gleberry Care for caring for my father! What a journey it’s been - without your support, my dad would not cope on his own in his home. Your care has allowed my dad to live in his own home with the support of his lovely carer!
When my father went into a care home, he was so unhappy! I was recommended your care company, and when I made a phone to you, your service gave me lots of advice and support. You’ve helped my dad with meetings with adult social care and NHS health!

My husband, the client, is totally dependent on his prestige carers for his personal care, his safety and his dignity. All staff are cheerful, polite and pleasant, they treat us with respect and kindness but are never intrusive. I find the service they provide very professional and value their support.

Overall Experience

I was very happy with the care delivered to my father over the months carers tended to him in difficult situations at times. Communication was also good. Regular care reviews happened as well as attention to detail. Staff are usually punctual and very reliable, housework was done to a good standard, although cooking was not a strong skill. Staff were attentive but some could have been more interactive as they were there for long periods of time. I knew my father was safe and well looked after in their care. A great service, I would recommend it to anyone, they are a can-do company.

My husband is showered twice weekly.
He is always treated with respect, kindness and patience by his caregivers.
All staff at Gleberry I have spoken to are very professional, friendly, willing to spend time to listen to my comments, make helpful suggestions to assist me.

My husband had a sit-in carer once a week for six months so that I could have some ‘me’ time. He had the same lovely carer every week who talked to my husband and did what was asked while I was out. My husband was happy with his carer which meant I didn’t have to worry. The carer always arrived on time and had time to chat with me too, he was very professional and informed me of any issues. Unfortunately, my husband suffered a stroke and after spending time in hospital, has since had to go into a nursing home but the office text me on numerous occasions to see how my husband was getting on, even though they were no longer caring for him. I would highly recommend this care provider.

I used the care company from January 2022 to October 2022 for my elderly mother and was pleased with the level of care she received. It was a difficult time following Covid to find any availability in care, and I was grateful they were able to accommodate my mother’s needs.

I cannot speak highly enough of this care provider, very approachable in all aspects and nothing was too much trouble for them. Sadly, I have lost my mum now, but she loved all her carers and they actually took time in talking to her and didn’t rush, they used to make her laugh a lot but were very professional as well. I used to ring to ask at short notice if they could do an extra call... no problem. For me and my mum, they are exceptionally good at what they do because they actually care.

Gleberry Support Hinckley are providing foot care for our wheelchair-bound disabled daughter who resides in a care home.
They are professional in their approach, considerate of her condition and reliable in attending her each visit.
The quality of work is excellent and her foot condition has improved dramatically since commencing the visits to her.
The staff member is considerate and inspires confidence.
He makes her feel at ease and she is happy whilst he carries out the treatment.

Meet the Team (4)

Seth Nkomo Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2013
Seth Nkomo

I am the Registered Manager at Gleberry Support. I have seen many changes within homecare and faced many challenges, including Covid! Previously, I have experience of working within the Health Care Sector, my aim for Gleberry was to deliver good quality person-centred care at an affordable price, and that's what we do!

My favourite thing about working in care is meeting new people and getting to know them, knowing that we are supporting them in a way that meets their needs and preferences. I really enjoy finding ways that we can make something happen, instead of saying no, we can't do that. An example of this was when we started Gleberry Trips, we were struggling with a wheelchair accessible vehicle, so we took away that worry and Gleberry now owns their first Wheelchair accessible minibus, removing barriers and making things easier for our local community.

You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training and of course supporting our service users.

I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF) plus many more.

Robert Charumbwidza Job Title: Nominated Individual Joined: 2013
Robert Charumbwidza

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2013, and I am the nominated individual. I am also the Foot Health Practitioner and Ear Care Specialist.

My favourite thing about working in care is interacting with our service users and clients. I love to chat and have a laugh with them. I am passionate about delivering high-quality care that meets our service users' needs.

You will see me out in the community, delivering staff training and, of course, supporting our service users, with care calls, Foot Care visits or Ear Care visits.

I currently hold my Level 5 Care Management, and I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication, and Basic Life Support.

I also have a Level 3 Award in Education & Training, Certificate in Human Resource Management, Ear Wax Removal Course for Health Professionals, Diploma in Foot Health Practice (DipCFHP), and I am on the Alliance Register.

Stacey Hibbert Job Title: Compliance Manager Joined: 2021

I've been working for Gleberry Support since February 2021. I started working as a Support Worker, and have held many different positions over my time, from Senior Carer, Deputy Manager, to my current role of Compliance Manager.

My favourite thing about working in care is the variety of my day, no two days are the same, and I really do enjoy meeting and chatting with our service users. I especially used to love hearing about War Time stories with ex-veterans, which sadly are now in decline.

You will see me out in the community, completing assessments, reviews, and delivering staff training

and of course supporting our service users.

I currently hold my Level 4 Care Management and am working towards my Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Care. I also have Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving & Handling and Safeguarding. I hold my level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA/RQF)

I've been working for Gleberry Support since 2018. I started as a Support Worker, and now work in our accounts and payroll department.

My favourite thing about my job is that no two days are the same; it's fast-paced and challenging at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I currently hold my Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. I also have qualifications in Moving & Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism that I obtained in 2008. I'm currently working on my AAT Qualification.
