All of the ladies that care for my mum are lovely. They look after Mum as if she was their mum. They are examples to home carers with their professional caring natures, ensuring all Mum’s needs are cared for.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an amazing review. We spend a great deal of time finding exceptional caregivers and we love hearing from our clients and their family members, at any time, but especially when the care and support we are providing is working so well. Your Mum is very popular with our caregivers - a pleasure to support. Thank you once again.
My review was over the telephone but still felt very personal.
Hello - thank you for your time discussing a review regarding Home Instead Salford! We are really pleased that you have given us 5 stars all round! Our CAREGivers really enjoy their visits to you. Thank you for putting your trust in us from day one!!
The whole team at Home Instead (Salford) strive to make (what can be an extremely difficult time) the transition to a new way of life for client and family/friends alike as smooth as possible. Reassurance every step of the way from friendly and efficient staff. Thank you for all your help/support.
Thank you for sending such an excellent review. Our CAREGivers enjoy spending time with your friend and we are sure the feeling is mutual. We are delighted that she has settled into her new routine so well. Thank you once again.
After deliberating for many months about my dads care, as he was gradually becoming less able to care for himself on a daily basis, I decided to contact Home Instead and had a wonderful initial chat with them and was very encouraged by their professionalism. Consequently, we have now had Dad cared for, for four weeks and I am very happy with their genuine level of care. Consequently, I now have peace of mind that Dad is eating regularly and also taking his medication. Just like to thank all the staff at Home Instead for their continued support.
Thank you so much for such a magnificent review!! Supporting and caring for people in their own homes is so rewarding. We never tire of hearing our client stories and knowing we are making a positive difference to their lives and in turn helping family by taking some of the pressure away. We are...
Home Instead (Salford) are a caring and dedicated team who daily, brighten my Aunts world. There are vital links in the communication chain keeping my Aunts daughter in Australia in regular contact with her Mothers care. The team have embraced Zoom, to regularly review the care package and help family members and more importantly my Aunt stay connected. They are a virtual lifeline and very much appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review. We are delighted that our care and support 'brightens your Aunt's world!' Technology is such a fantastic aid - keeping families in touch, especially when they are on the other side of the world. Your Auntie is mentioned often and we...
I would not hesitate to engage the services of Home Instead (Salford). Professional high quality care. Highly organised and efficient. I’m so pleased I was introduced to them, my parents in their nineties are still able to live at home because of their carers assistance.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We really enjoy supporting your parents and are pleased that this gives you peace of mind - especially as you live so far away. Our CAREGivers look forward to their visits and speak fondly of your parents. As you know we are a phone call away should you have any worries or concerns. Many thanks once again.
My 94-year-old housebound grandma has been with Home Instead (Salford) for a few years now. They are, by far, the best home care company that we have ever had. The owners are so friendly, caring and compassionate. This shows in how they recruit staff. I live far from my grandma, and the lockdown has been difficult, but Home Instead staff have been super helpful and caring. From getting the shopping into Christmas Day Dinner on a plate as we could not be there; nothing is too much trouble. Their service goes beyond meeting basic needs, which have, undoubtedly, assisted my grandma's well-being enormously. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead Salford to anyone looking to find care to support their elderly relative to live independently. Thank you to all the team at Home Instead (Salford).
Many thanks for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We have enjoyed supporting your grandma over the past few years! We love her sense of humour and her stories. The small team of CAREGivers who support her really enjoy their visits and certainly look forward to them. Cooking Christmas dinner for her was a pleasure! Thank you once again.
We have used the service for a short period only but we are extremely satisfied with the service to date.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review. It is early days and these early days are crucial for client, family and CAREGivers to get to know each other and learn routines. This is a crucial time to 'tweek' the care plan, improve, add more detail. We pride ourselves on being very responsive to our Client's needs. Thank you once again.
The Directors found the perfect match in my son's caregiver. She has a professional approach, is eager to learn about him and now tends to his every need. My son loves the time he shares with her and she finds interesting things to do with him. If I have contacted the office all the staff are helpful and polite and there is a friendly atmosphere.
Thank you so much for sending such a lovely review. Your son is a joy to support especially when he has his creative hat on! Glue, glitter, paint, lots of enthusiasm and mutual respect goes a long way! We are delighted that the match of personalities has been such a great success and that our...
The carers have consistently shown my Mother careful attention. They have given her companionship and have been willing to help her in many ways. Office staff have always been available for a chat and have readily altered the contact time with my Mother as her needs have grown. Staff have quickly notified us when they have felt that we needed to be consulted about my Mothers care. The carers now make sure that she has taken her medication and they usually prepare meals for her. The carers are always responsible and always check that my Mother is safe, i.e. that the doors are locked and that she has her pendant on her when they leave her.
Thank you for writing such a fantastic review. Our CAREGivers enjoy supporting your Mother and have shared some lovely stories with the office team. Our CAREGiver was very touched when your Mother gave her a ballet book to share with her granddaughter who enjoys ballet, baking cakes with another...
The care given was professional. The carers were pleasant and efficient. They got on well with us and went out of their way to help us with any tasks.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. Our CAREGivers enjoyed supporting your father and meeting the family too. We thank you for putting your trust in our team and wish you all best wishes for the future.
I find all the staff caring, able and willing to undertake any task I set for them. They are, without exception, pleasant and supportive, trustworthy and prompt to arrive when I am warned of some unavoidable delay. They are good-humoured and patient, contributing to the good quality of my otherwise rather quiet life. My daughter is in Canada, gains reassurance that I have good support.
Hi - thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We always like the words 'without exception' as we take a great deal of time finding our CAREGivers - they really have to be 'special' to join our team and they have to believe in top quality care. We hear of the stories of the...
I have been very impressed by all your staff - they are caring, professional and very helpful on all occasions.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a fantastic review. We spend a great deal of time searching for CAREGivers with 'hearts of gold' and who are passionate about delivering top quality care and support with a smile! We are very fortunate to work with such a fantastic team and all our Client's are fabulous too. Thank you again for your time and lovely comments.
From the beginning, the standard of care and organisation has been exemplary. All the caregivers have been kind, caring and very professional. The management/admin of Home Instead are always very efficient, approachable and helpful. A five-star service!
Thank you so much for your kind words your mother-in-law was a much-loved member of our Home Instead family, and we're so glad to know that she's settling in fine. I'll make sure to pass your message on to the team who often want to know how she's doing and often remark how much they miss seeing...
The care your carers provide went above and beyond it just being a "job". They not only gave care to my Mother but gave peace of mind to me and my wife, knowing that Mum was being lovingly cared for. I would like to give our thanks and love to two caregivers especially who went above and beyond "care". The care coordinator always treated any concern we had with good grace and professionalism and is a credit to her profession. Thanks again to anyone at Home Instead who had dealings with our family.
Wow - thank you. We will pass on your amazing comments to the people concerned. The feeling has been completely mutual - your mother was a joy to support and she is missed by her small team. We hope that she has settled into her new routine. We really thank all your family for showing our...
We were absolutely delighted with the care my Mother-in-law received from Home Instead. All the carers were delightful and we felt reassured that she was getting the best care available to help her stay in her own home. We always felt able to adjust her level of care as her needs increased and the office staff went out of their way to accommodate her needs.
Thank you for such an outstanding review. Your Mother-in-law was an absolute pleasure to support and was loved by her small team of Caregivers. Pampering sessions were always enjoyed by all - hair especially. We hope she is happy in her new abode - thank you for putting your trust in us, it was a joy to support you all.
When I found Home Instead - from the first phone call - I knew that I had found a company to trust. The worry of Mum living so far away from me was really difficult. Now I have peace of mind as my mum's small team of regular caregivers are amazing. The team in the office are always available to speak to if I am worried or concerned. Mum is much happier and really looks forward to visits! Thank you to all at Home Instead.
Thank you so much for writing such an excellent review. All our Caregivers are exceptional and really enjoy spending time with their Clients - your Mum is no exception. Once all the necessary 'tasks' are completed your Mum and her Caregivers enjoy tea/coffee and cake and really enjoy exchanging...
Care always on time and not in a rush to leave. Very pleasant and knowledgable.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We enjoyed supporting you and your family and hope that you continue to do well. Our Caregivers enjoyed spending time with your wife and send their best wishes too. Many thanks once again.
Very happy the way Home Instead set up the care for my mother. From the very first call, I know I was in good hands. The care manager was very helpful and thought of every little detail. I have experienced poor care and did not want to make the same mistake. I can now say after 8-months, it was the best decision I could have made. Home Instead is amazing, Mum is happy in her own home, and I have peace of mind knowing I can trust the caregivers, which is priceless.
As a family we can't thank Home Instead and the CareGivers enough, treating mum with such dignity and respect as they would their own family. Right from the start, they worked with us to create an individual care package suitable for mum's complex needs and have continued to do so when things have changed or we have raised anything with them. As mum can't communicate it was really important for us to have the same carers daily so they got to know her to enable them to provide the best possible care and to know when mum wasn’t feeling “quite right”. They also allocate the same time every day so we aren't worrying that they are going to be late or not turn up. The CareGivers are just amazing and it’s obvious they really do care which is a real comfort to us. We can also see this has been a huge benefit to mum who is much brighter and more alert and as a family, this has given us peace of mind.
Thank you so much for sending such a fantastic review. We are delighted that you and your family are happy with our outstanding caregivers and that it is having such a positive impact on your mum. To say that we are giving you and your family peace of mind is a massive compliment. We always say...

Meet the Team (11)
My name is Susan Robinson, and I am the owner of Home Instead Salford and Worsley. I have lived and worked in Salford all my life, and I am immensely proud to be part of this vibrant and ever-changing city.
Although I have owned and managed two exciting businesses in the past, more recently I have volunteered and worked in several primary schools in Salford. A large proportion of my time involved developing relationships between the school, families and the wider community. My passion for community development grew very quickly, and I had no intention of changing my career path.
However, I needed some support from my mum when we were going on holiday in August 2015. It was at this time that I was introduced to Home Instead Senior Care. I was amazed at the culture and ethos of the company. Love, care and compassion are at the heart of the Home Instead philosophy. When I realised that there was an opportunity in Salford to support individuals in their own homes, where they are most happy and comfortable, I grabbed it with both hands.
