Knowing Mum was in such capable and caring hands gave us peace of mind whilst we were away. I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough.
Thank you for your very positive review. We are always happy to supply holiday cover and respite so that families can go away with peace of mind. Once families have tried holiday cover with Home Instead, time away becomes something to look forward to. Often feelings of guilt and/or worry spoil...
Care professionals are attentive, friendly, caring, efficient and cheerful. We enjoy cooking together! Staff in the office deal promptly with any problems and keep us well informed. Good communication with my daughter by text and email and with my by phone.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We are delighted that our Care Professionals are cheerful souls and they do enjoy cooking! Our recruitment process is strict and we are always searching for people passionate about delivering excellent care. Chatting, making friends and completing fun...
From the first contact, I had the impression of professional, efficient staff with a warm, caring attitude.
They very quickly picked up on my parents' needs and how to support our family in enabling Mum and Dad to stay in their own home.
We had provided care as a family for nearly 10 years but Mum and Dad's needs were now at a level where we needed that extra support.
All the staff from office to care providers simply go above and beyond every day. It's very clear this is not just a job for them, they truly care about the people they are involved with.
The staff quickly blended into the family unit and we became a very strong team. There was support from them for all of us, not just Mum and Dad.
I honestly cannot praise everyone enough for the many things they do.
They are very special people making difficult situations workable. We were so lucky to find them.
What a wonderful review - thank you. Our care professionals have thoroughly enjoyed supporting your parents, and in turn you and your family. Caring for you all has been an absolute pleasure. Our recruitment and training program is thorough and robust. A small percentage of care professional...
The service is used to prevent me from falling while in the shower and being dressed. I'm limited in my movements due to arthritis. I had had a recent fall culminating in me having 4 broken ribs and a head wound. This necessitated a stay in the hospital. These issues have now been addressed.
We are extremely sorry that this accident happened and we hope that you make a swift recovery. We understand that your confidence has been knocked because of this upsetting experience. Our care professional who was with you at the time is deeply upset, as you would expect. We have put all actions...
Both myself and brother are able to have a proper visit with Mum which wouldn't be possible without Home Instead doing the day-to-day stuff which would have fallen to us. Since Home Instead started, Mum's health and mental health have improved due to the extra interaction.
Thank you so much for this fabulous review. We try exceptionally hard to make our clients feel comfortable with their Care Professionals and we put lots of effort into matching personalities. If we are successful with this matching our clients are happy, our Care Professionals are happy and in turn...
The service is excellent. The carers are pleasant, respectful and always caring. I have no complaints at all about the service they offer. In emergencies, the office staff do their very best to help and are always a pleasure to deal with.
Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review. The feeling is mutual, you and your husband are always a pleasure to support. We have been visiting you for several years and you have always been a very popular client. You are a full-time carer for her husband and always remain...
Thank you.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We can say that it has been a pleasure over the years to support your parents. All our care professionals enjoy their company. Thank you for mentioning the office team too. The care and support we supply is a total team effort. Every member of our team...
Can highly recommend Home Instead, total peace of mind and they do a wonderful job. The carers are lovely and friendly and as a company, they are very thorough and do regular reviews and checks to ensure that everyone is happy and all going to plan.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are delighted that our Client is happy and that the care and support we are providing is working well. When we have a happy Client we have happy family members, friends, neighbours and of course happy Care Professionals. Thank you for making the initial phone call and making time to leave such a wonderful review.
My mum has been using Home Instead (Salford) since the start of the year and they have been fantastic. She loves the ladies that come to see her, and they have become real friends; the service from the office is fantastic and they are always happy to accommodate changes as needed. We are very grateful to Home Instead and couldn't recommend them highly enough - thank you!
Home Instead has been fabulous in setting up a care package for my mum. We thought the process was going to be quite daunting but a particular member of staff and the team made it really easy. The carers who look after my mum are brilliant and my mum is really happy with them from day one. It has really helped my mum and taken a lot of pressure off the family.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. Thank you for calling in our office recently to give an update on your mum. Often, our loved ones do not want or think they need support at home. This is very common and I am sure when my time comes, I will be the same. Your mum was no exception. A rocky...
Her direct care giver was exceptional and a real lifesaver. Their friendship and companionship is held in very high regard from both my grandmother and the whole family.
Thank you so much for such a fabulous review. Your grandmother and her dedicated Care Professional have a wonderful relationship and I know that our Care Professional has enjoyed their many conversations. The book your grandmother has written is inspirational and such an interesting, informative...
We are both very impressed at their care, professionalism and being totally wonderful.
Always on time, reliable which puts your mind at rest that Mum is being properly looked after.
We would recommend their services 100%.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We have not been supporting your mother for very long but it is wonderful how relationships can form quite quickly - positive and rewarding for all involved. Our care professionals enjoy visiting you and your mum and we hope that you are enjoying a bit of time...
Recently my mother became very frail but was determined to stay in her own home and Home Instead enabled that to happen. An amazing carer was with her when she ‘went to sleep’ and held her hand. I will be forever grateful to her and Home Instead for helping our family in a true hour of need.
Thank you for such a wonderful review. We enjoy supporting your family members, and our Care Professionals talk fondly about their visits. Solid relationships have been made over time and our Care Professional considered it a privilege to be with your Mum when she 'went to sleep'. It is an honour...
The service provided by Home Instead has been excellent throughout. The care and professionalism shown by the carers through to the office staff have been exemplary. Any difficult issues are communicated and dealt with sensitively and with compassion. As I don't live close by, knowing my father is well cared for by genuinely kind and understanding carers is so comforting. I can't praise the team enough.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a fantastic review. All your father's Care Professionals thoroughly enjoy visiting him and spending time with him. We are looking forward to sunnier days to enable us to take him out for a change of scenery and some fresh air. It is good to see that he...
Since the visits started, carers have turned up, as agreed, twice a day, faithfully, and on time. All of them have been cheerful and encouraging of her, providing much-needed company as well as preparing meals, tidying up and cleaning the kitchen.
As her dementia has worsened, the care team performed the vital function of reassuring her, chatting with her, and providing social engagement, something that has really brightened her days.
We are most grateful to the caregivers; they have meant much to all of us, and we have appreciated their professionalism.
Thank you for submitting such a wonderful review. We try very hard to match our Clients' personalities with our Care Professionals. In this case, we were lucky that we had a retired nurse supporting your sister and they had nursing and Salford Royal in common. Music is also a great bonding tool and...
All team members deliver what Mum needs.
Very flexible when Mum goes on holiday or with doctors appointments.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. Our care professionals always look forward to visiting and supporting your Mum, and they are impressed that your Mum shows a genuine interest in them and their families. Your mum is a pleasure to support whether at home or with...
Had a meeting this morning with two of the staff at Home Instead (Salford). Care and communication excellent as always and our meeting was dealt with professionally. We continue to be delighted with Dads care.
Thank you for such an excellent review. We strive to deliver excellent care to all our clients and we support our Care Professionals and family members too. Communication is key in all that we do. Our Care Professionals report back that their work with Home Instead does not feel like a 'job' -...
Care for my mother has been excellent. Able to discuss and modified any changes required. Good support and advice from care team and managers.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a splendid review. Our Care Professionals certainly enjoy visiting and supporting your parents. Our recruitment process for our Care Professionals is rigorous. It is always reassuring to know that we have selected well and their care skills are...
I am quite happy with my caregiver. The company are very courteous with any questions that need answering. There is always a good vibe on the phone at any time of the day. The caregiver tends to my needs without question and is very friendly with my family members.

Meet the Team (11)
My name is Susan Robinson, and I am the owner of Home Instead Salford and Worsley. I have lived and worked in Salford all my life, and I am immensely proud to be part of this vibrant and ever-changing city.
Although I have owned and managed two exciting businesses in the past, more recently I have volunteered and worked in several primary schools in Salford. A large proportion of my time involved developing relationships between the school, families and the wider community. My passion for community development grew very quickly, and I had no intention of changing my career path.
However, I needed some support from my mum when we were going on holiday in August 2015. It was at this time that I was introduced to Home Instead Senior Care. I was amazed at the culture and ethos of the company. Love, care and compassion are at the heart of the Home Instead philosophy. When I realised that there was an opportunity in Salford to support individuals in their own homes, where they are most happy and comfortable, I grabbed it with both hands.
