My name is Susan Robinson and I am the owner of Home Instead Salford and Worsley. I have lived and worked in Salford all my life and I am immensely proud to be part of this vibrant and ever-changing city.
Although I have owned and managed two exciting businesses in the past, more recently I have volunteered and worked in several primary schools in Salford. A large proportion of my time involved developing relationships between school, families and the wider community. My passion for community development grew very quickly and I had no intention of changing my career path.
However, I needed some support from my mum when we were going on holiday in August 2015. It was at this time that I was introduced to Home Instead Senior Care. I was amazed at the culture and ethos of the company. Love, care and compassion are at the heart of the Home Instead philosophy. When I realised that there was an opportunity in Salford to support individuals in their own homes, where they are most happy and comfortable, I grabbed it with both hands.
