Very happy the way Home Instead set up the care for my mother. From the very first call, I know I was in good hands. The care manager was very helpful and thought of every little detail. I have experienced poor care and did not want to make the same mistake. I can now say after 8-months, it was the best decision I could have made. Home Instead is amazing, Mum is happy in her own home, and I have peace of mind knowing I can trust the caregivers, which is priceless.
As a family we can't thank Home Instead and the CareGivers enough, treating mum with such dignity and respect as they would their own family. Right from the start, they worked with us to create an individual care package suitable for mum's complex needs and have continued to do so when things have changed or we have raised anything with them. As mum can't communicate it was really important for us to have the same carers daily so they got to know her to enable them to provide the best possible care and to know when mum wasn’t feeling “quite right”. They also allocate the same time every day so we aren't worrying that they are going to be late or not turn up. The CareGivers are just amazing and it’s obvious they really do care which is a real comfort to us. We can also see this has been a huge benefit to mum who is much brighter and more alert and as a family, this has given us peace of mind.
Thank you so much for sending such a fantastic review. We are delighted that you and your family are happy with our outstanding caregivers and that it is having such a positive impact on your mum. To say that we are giving you and your family peace of mind is a massive compliment. We always say...
For me, as the person who is trusted with helping him make decisions about his care, the whole process was made so simple as Home Instead had kept in touch and I had been able to keep his regular visit times reserved so it was a very smooth process to re-instate his care package as soon as we were ready.
I cannot visit him daily due to distance but, thanks to Home Instead, I have the ability to access his daily activity log which his carers document after every visit.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Home Instead for anyone who wishes to remain independent. They can support in so many ways. Fantastic!
Hello Helen, thank you so much for taking the time to review our services. Your Uncle is a joy to support - he keeps everyone on their toes and smiling. We appreciate how difficult it is for family members to support their loved ones especially when there is a distance involved. We like to think...
The Home Instead Salford staff have visited Mum every day since we engaged their services in January of this year. The staff are kind, professional, attentive to Mum’s needs and importantly, throughout the pandemic, have adhered to safety protocols. I know Mum enjoys her daily visit and it is reassuring for me to know that she is being taken care of when I am unable to be with her. The management are always available and responsive to my queries or requests. I could not be more satisfied with the service.
Hello Karen - thank you so much for your outstanding review! We are very lucky to have such an amazing team of people - both working in the community and within the office. We are very proud of our team who have continued to work throughout the pandemic with enthusiasm and gusto! Obtaining the...
When Dad had a fall in the night the next morning the Caregiver stayed with him, made the necessary phone calls including arranging cover for her next client while she looked after him until the ambulance arrived.
We have complete confidence in the care they deliver - 'they do what it says on the can!' If you are going to have care in the home you have to have Home Instead.
Hello Karen, thank you so much for such an outstanding review. Our CAREGivers and office team are extraordinary and we enjoyed supporting your father. We will make sure that all CAREGivers who visited him have sight of the review. We hope you are well and we send our best wishes.
After a recent, much-needed review, care standards have improved, if we can add please that carers need to be aware of service users' needs before their visit.
Hello and thank you for taking the time to write a review. As a longstanding Client we value your feedback and we thank you for putting your trust in us. We are always looking to improve our services and we will call you in the next few days to discuss your comments. Many thanks once again.
I live in Canada and when mum had a recent hospital admission for a pacemaker they made sure that mums care was increased to help her in the recovery phase after her hospital admission, they also visited her in hospital and communicated with me as to how she was progressing. It was so comforting to me to know that mum’s needs were being met in a proactive and dynamic way. Service was increased and then as she recovered her service was reduced.
The carers are carefully matched so that there is a good ‘fit ‘ they are well trained, conscientious and enjoy their work bringing positive energy and vitality, which is so lovely. I would be happy to recommend Home Instead.
Sometimes my caregivers give above and beyond what they need to do. They can make me feel so much better with the simplest of actions e.g. Washing my hands and face and combing my hair.
Mum has Alzheimer's and had refused any help from Social Services, insisting that her two daughters will tend to all her needs. We did but found we struggled to have any holiday and spend any time with our families. Then we came across Home Instead Senior Care. We were worried that Mum might still resist any help but with some perseverance and the skill of the two lovely carers she now enjoys their visits. They will ensure she eats, occasionally take her out and help with housework. They have been a great help to me and my sister as have the staff back at the office. Nothing is too much trouble.
Thanks so much for your feedback, it's really appreciated. We understand that families are often apprehensive when accessing additional care outside of the immediate family. However, with time and patience (and the right team!) this CAN be achieved, and the benefits to all become very quickly...
I have had carers from Home Instead Salford since I came home and am more than satisfied with all the help they give me.
Thank you so much for such an amazing review. We all think you are amazing! The absolute determination you have to recover from your broken leg is quite outstanding. We are all in awe of you. Thank you again.
The consistency of care was very important to mum and Home Instead Senior Care (Salford) provided this. Mum has come to describe her caregivers as friends. This tells me that mum is happy with her visits and is confident in their abilities. Communication is also a vital part of care and if there were ever any problems with mum I was always notified. An excellent company - definitely recommend to friends.
Thank you for this lovely review. Your Mum was a lovely lady and was a pleasure to support and be with. We are delighted that she considered her CAREGivers as 'friends' and this is what we strive for 'professional friendships' where there is joy and mutual respect between Client and CAREGivers always. We miss your Mum and wish you and your family all the best for the future.
My friend who was fiercely independent took a long time to agree to using Home Instead Senior Care (Salford). She wanted to stay in her own house as long as she could but eventually realised Home Instead Senior Care (Salford) would make that possible and take a lot of the burden off her family. I know she was delighted with the care she had from your ladies who were only with her for a very short time but treated her so well. It was sad she didn't take advantage earlier.
Yes, it did take a while to gain her trust but eventually, she did allow us to visit her and immediately she was hooked. Very quickly if the 'match' between Client and caregiver is right all fear and trepidation disappears very quickly. It is hard to let strangers in our own homes but here at Home...
Home Instead Senior Care (Salford) feels like an extended family. Communication is superb, it is very refreshing having the phone answered on the first or second ring and your query is dealt with asap. I can't comment on the particular experience as the caregivers are always consistent with the level of care they provide. They are kind, caring, efficient and punctual and praise must also go to the management of the team. You can easily expand/alter the level of care quickly as needs change. Just a simple phone call means it's done. Home Instead Senior Care (Salford) makes me feel I am not alone in battling dementia care.
Thank you for such a fabulous review. We have been rated 'outstanding' by CQC because of our exceptional caregivers and our friendly and efficient office team. We love and respect everyone whether client or caregiver and this shines through in the quality of care that we provide day in and day out. Thank you for sparing the time to write this review.
All the carers who have I have experienced have all been sociable, helpful and interesting to chat to especially the ones who have interests that coincide with my own hobbies. They also give practical advice with my electronic tablet or mobile phone.
Many thanks for taking the time to complete this review. We are delighted that we are able to help out with technical matters too. Our CAREGivers always enjoy their visits.
The service provided is excellent.
Many thanks for this excellent review. We are delighted that we scored top marks - thank you for taking the time to complete the review form - very much appreciated!
My aunt was initially reluctant to accept help at home. The Home Instead Senior Care (Salford) team visited on three occasions to answer her questions and without any pressure to give reassurance. My aunt decided on a trial period and was delighted with the care and support she received. I was so relieved to know that she was being looked after by well-trained friendly staff who really cared about her well being. Sadly due to my aunt's death, we only had a short period with Home Instead Senior Care (Salford). Thank you for the help and support you gave to all of us.
Thank you for this lovely review. Many people are reluctant to accept help from Home Instead Senior Care, Salford initially. It is a big decision for everyone and very unnerving. However, after one or two visits this usually rectifies itself and as you say your aunt very quickly looked forward...
The staff who provide this companionship are caring, helpful, friendly and kind, doing a variety of things with Mum at home or taking her out. Mum really enjoys this time together and feels very secure.
When I telephone the office, the staff have a lovely friendly manner, dealing with my questions promptly or kindly pass messages on as needed. Any emails I send are always dealt with promptly too.
Many old people feel happy and orientated in their own homes and want to stay there but finding the right help can be difficult. The Home Instead team allow this to happen for Mum by providing excellent support. Thank you all the team for everything you do.
Thank you for your lovely review. The carers always enjoy spending time with your mum. Positive news is always a pleasure to receive. Many thanks for putting your trust in us.
The carers that were assigned were both fantastic, always on time, extremely helpful and had the insight to know how to be able to ramp-up/down level of care and support as needed. They were also both extremely smartly dressed which I thought was a very nice touch.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anybody looking for home care services. They are highly professional and I can completely agree with how highly rated they are in terms of their Quality Care Commission rating of outstanding.
Thank you for taking the time to write such an 'outstanding' review. We are delighted that we were able to help and support your father and your family at such a difficult time. We all enjoyed supporting your family and your father's beautiful dogs too. Thank you for putting your trust in us.
My mother has been so contented with all the caregivers, one in particular. All have been punctual. She has felt that they will do anything she asks. A huge difference for us both has meant I have had more energy to deal with the remainder of tasks she needs support with. Not only have the care providers assisted mum, they have also contacted me to see how I was during a challenging time. Thank you.
Many thanks for your terrific review. Your mother is a joy to support and everyone enjoys listening to her real-life stories. Thank you for taking the time to write this review and putting your trust in us. Everyone enjoys receiving good news - thank you!
I found the caregiving and services provided to be of an excellent standard. The Carers showed compassion, dignity and very reassuring. Our whole family benefited hugely from your help and assistance and we feel this contributed massively to my fathers recovery after his minor stroke.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure meeting you and your family and we are delighted that your father has made such a fantastic recovery. Our CAREGivers enjoyed supporting your father and walking the dogs too. Thank you once again for taking the time to submit a review.

Meet the Team (11)
My name is Susan Robinson, and I am the owner of Home Instead Salford and Worsley. I have lived and worked in Salford all my life, and I am immensely proud to be part of this vibrant and ever-changing city.
Although I have owned and managed two exciting businesses in the past, more recently I have volunteered and worked in several primary schools in Salford. A large proportion of my time involved developing relationships between the school, families and the wider community. My passion for community development grew very quickly, and I had no intention of changing my career path.
However, I needed some support from my mum when we were going on holiday in August 2015. It was at this time that I was introduced to Home Instead Senior Care. I was amazed at the culture and ethos of the company. Love, care and compassion are at the heart of the Home Instead philosophy. When I realised that there was an opportunity in Salford to support individuals in their own homes, where they are most happy and comfortable, I grabbed it with both hands.
