I am really pleased with Home Instead and how they look after my aunt and uncle. Professional, friendly, easy to communicate with and flexible. The online portal is extremely useful and allows me to monitor the progress of care provision in real time.

Our relationship with Home Instead Wembley began in February this year on my partner's discharge from hospital. It is our first experience of a care provider.
Fortunately, his needs at the moment are a daily morning visit for personal care, and companionship one night a week.
The carers have been
friendly, cheerful, upbeat, punctual and do not skimp on time. They are respectful, compassionate and it is reassuring for me to know I have support as well from the office team.

Following our initial experience with carers coming in on a daily basis to take my husband for a walk and help me with food preparation etc. My husband's dementia worsened while I became ill and was unable to care for him. So, we arranged for live-in care. Our carer is very efficient and keeps our flat
spotless, she does all the laundry and cooks for us. She is also very obliging in buying any items we are running low on. She understands the problems posed by dementia and helps me deal with difficulties as they arise.

Found the whole experience a dream.
All staff we met were very professional.
The carer mum had was kind and helpful, mum really liked her (this was mum's first experience of non family carers).
I felt extremely comfortable leaving mum in their care.

This was my first time looking for care for my Dad and the team at Home Instead have made the process so much easier than I would have expected. All the carers involved with caring for my father are kind, friendly and diligent in the care they're providing. The team in the office have also been fantastic
and helped me out when I needed extra care provided at extremely short notice. I can't recommend them enough.

My Mum has been receiving care for several months now. The Carers are extremely reliable, very friendly, always taking the time to make sure Mum is ok. All the Carers have taken the time to get to know Mum and are becoming good friends. Carers are very happy to do whatever Mum needs, happy to make a
light meal, cleaning, watering plants. Communication with the office is very good with no request being too much trouble. The office always keeps me informed and are happy to accommodate any changes to routine due to hospital appointments etc. The relationship between the Carers, Mum and the office is very quickly becoming indespensible.

We were using another company for Dad's initial care service and changed to Home Instead (Wembley) - so very sorry we did not do this sooner. A completely different experience. Home Instead carers actually do their time - the previous carers ran in and out the door in a matter of minutes. The office
scheduler is excellent and responsive to all requests or changes. The team was spread a little wider than we would have liked but religious festivals may have played a part in availability; usually though there was a familiar face for Dad to see (as familiar as you can be in face masks). In any event the ladies were kind, caring, responsive and reliable. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Wembley. Dad is very very grateful to each and every one of his ladies. Special thanks also to the office manager ladies both. Very professional and efficient ladies.

I found all the carers polite, friendly and very reassuring in difficult circumstances. They were all able to provide as much care as possible in the time provided. Some were more competent than others in finding the necessary provisions. It was sometimes difficult to get used to different carers and
to explain what I required them to do.

I have been using Home Instead (Wembley) since October 2019 to care for my mum, who is now in the latter stages of dementia. Their level of care and service is excellent. They are very responsive to my mum's needs as her condition has deteriorated. I would hate to think how we could have coped during
lockdown without Home Instead. It is extremely reassuring to know that I can depend on the carers to tend to my mum's needs on a daily basis. The peace of mind that this gives me cannot be underestimated. Their online portal is really useful as it allows me to keep updated on how Mum is doing on a daily basis. The admin staff are all very friendly and manage Mum's prescriptions for her medications. Overall, I would happily recommend Home Instead for care.

What can say, 1st class. Manager and her team did a great job. I've used Home instead before and will always use them.
Especially when my time comes, 20 years yet to go.
She felt like a person again.

Despite the carer not being able to speak Chinese, the carer is kind and patient. She understands that my mum is very vulnerable and has difficulty socialising.
Just being there and gaining my mum's trust has given me some reassurance. Thank you.

Good old fashioned service that meets all of our requirements, this is how I would describe what I’ve seen from Home Instead (Wembley). In February they have assisted my Mum in settling back into her home after a three month stay away in a care home whilst improving her mobility. The service manager,
with over 40 years of experience and her team are all focused on delivering Mum what she requires on that day, not just ticking boxes but actually caring for her needs whether this is a cleaning or feeding task or simply pouring Mum her favourite tipple just how she likes it.
I cannot express enough just how happy and safe I feel for my Mum knowing that she is under their care.
Thank all of you at Home Instead (Wembley) you’re first class.

Following a glowing review from a friend whose father had been cared for by Home Instead, my mother has been receiving care from Home Instead (Wembley) for over a year now. The whole team has been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. They are reliable, caring and treat my mother with respect and
dignity. The level of communication from the office is very high and the portal which is used by the caregivers allows my wife and I to gain an insight into my Mother’s day. I would have no doubt in recommending Home Instead (Wembley ).

We have just started to use Home Instead (Wembley) to care for my parents and so far we have had an excellent experience. The care manager who visited us for the initial assessment was warm and caring and extremely knowledgeable - she put us all at ease and made us feel very confident in going ahead
with the care. The carer who visits is also great - my mother finds her to be kind and thoughtful, she always thinks of extra things she can do to help, and she is lovely company too. All of the admin side has been handled efficiently too. Based on our experience so far, highly recommended.

As an onlooker, I am happy to report on what I have observed of the care my elderly neighbour has received from Home Instead. She began with three hours of care in the morning and the help and the evening meal but after several falls, she needed live-in care. A lovely, sympathetic lady moved into her
spare room and has quietly taken over caring for her, under the most difficult conditions, accepting every problem she comes up against. In a house where things haven't worked for years and services have been cancelled to save money, the house is now perfectly kept, shopping and laundry done and my neighbour has three beautifully prepared meals every day. Her accounts are dealt with, bills paid, services reinstalled and thanks to a new boiler, she has heat and hot water again. I can't pretend my neighbour is an easy person. She never has been and she is a lot worse now she is 93. I can only admire her carer’s patience tolerance and quiet understanding I couldn't do it I don't know how she does it but she does.

I contacted Home Instead to provide support for my mum who is physically able but has dementia and lives with her partner.
I was concerned that my mum, who does not feel that she needs any help would not accept the care and support. This has not been the case. The carer built a relationship with
my mum over a very short time. She’s shown great flexibility from taking my mum out for coffee or to have a look around the shops to cleaning and helping with personal care.
The whole process from my initial enquiry has been smooth and professional. The online visit reports are useful and reassuring. I would highly recommend Home Instead Wembley.

We used Home Instead when our original carer didn't work out. The manager was extremely sympathetic and helpful, finding out from my parents what their needs were, their likes and arrangements were made for a regular carer for them, helping with personal care, food and other tasks. She has been absolutely
fantastic and my parents are really appreciative of all she does. Weekend carers have not worked out quite so well, but overall we are very happy we found Home Instead and like the way they work, particularly the way they communicate both with me and with my parents. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Wembley.

I can genuinely not speak highly enough of the managers and carers at the Wembley Home Instead branch. From my first contact in a system I was very unsure of I was shown compassion and understanding…this was immediately reinforced on meeting the managers who took the time to get to know my dad and me
and discuss his care needs. Sensitive and kind professionalism would be my description. My dad absolutely adores (and that is no exaggeration) the carer he has been matched with, she again is beyond kind and so gentle and supportive of my dad. The notes of the time spent with my dad are so reassuring and a great feature of the service.
