As an onlooker, I am happy to report on what I have observed of the care my elderly neighbour has received from Home Instead. She began with three hours of care in the morning and the help and the evening meal but after several falls, she needed live-in care. A lovely, sympathetic lady moved into her spare room and has quietly taken over caring for her, under the most difficult conditions, accepting every problem she comes up against. In a house where things haven't worked for years and services have been cancelled to save money, the house is now perfectly kept, shopping and laundry done and my neighbour has three beautifully prepared meals every day. Her accounts are dealt with, bills paid, services reinstalled and thanks to a new boiler, she has heat and hot water again. I can't pretend my neighbour is an easy person. She never has been and she is a lot worse now she is 93. I can only admire her carer’s patience tolerance and quiet understanding I couldn't do it I don't know how she does it but she does.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful, comprehensive review. It means such a lot to us to know that we are making a significant difference to your neighbour. Thank you so much for all your support and understanding in helping us and the caregiver to get all the services...
Would recommend to anyone reading brilliant care for a loved one.
Thank you so much for your kind words and taking the time to write a review for us. It was a pleasure to care for your loved one. Thank you again for taking the time to write a review for us.
I was concerned that my mum, who does not feel that she needs any help would not accept the care and support. This has not been the case. The carer built a relationship with my mum over a very short time. She’s shown great flexibility from taking my mum out for coffee or to have a look around the shops to cleaning and helping with personal care.
The whole process from my initial enquiry has been smooth and professional. The online visit reports are useful and reassuring. I would highly recommend Home Instead Wembley.
Thank you so much for writing a review for us and taking the time to do so. Your mother's CAREGiver has built a lovely relationship with your mother and really enjoying their trips out. Thank you for trusting us to care for your mother, it is our pleasure to do so. Thank you again for reviewing us.
We used Home Instead when our original carer didn't work out. The manager was extremely sympathetic and helpful, finding out from my parents what their needs were, their likes and arrangements were made for a regular carer for them, helping with personal care, food and other tasks. She has been absolutely fantastic and my parents are really appreciative of all she does. Weekend carers have not worked out quite so well, but overall we are very happy we found Home Instead and like the way they work, particularly the way they communicate both with me and with my parents. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Wembley.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us. Our caregivers adore your parents and love spending time with them and supporting them. Thank you for the feedback which is very much appreciated and will help us to improve. Thank you very much again.
I can genuinely not speak highly enough of the managers and carers at the Wembley Home Instead branch. From my first contact in a system I was very unsure of I was shown compassion and understanding…this was immediately reinforced on meeting the managers who took the time to get to know my dad and me and discuss his care needs. Sensitive and kind professionalism would be my description. My dad absolutely adores (and that is no exaggeration) the carer he has been matched with, she again is beyond kind and so gentle and supportive of my dad. The notes of the time spent with my dad are so reassuring and a great feature of the service.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us. It is our pleasure to care for Dad. His caregiver absolutely adores Dad and spending time getting to know him. The feedback's so important to us and helps to continue our work with other Ccients. Thank you very much again.
My godmother has been receiving care by Home Instead (Wembley) for the past few months and I am happy to report that I am very pleased with the service. When I saw her last week, her main carer who lives in was there to greet us and I could see that they have developed a great relationship. The house was spick and span, bedding clean and pressed and her personal care was being attended to really well. She seemed happy and relaxed. Thank you Home Instead (Wembley).
Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review. We are delighted to be able to care for your Godmother. Her CAREGiver adores your Godmother and tries her very best to make her as happy and as comfortable as possible. Thank you very much again.
Home Instead (Wembley) have been nothing but exceptional when caring for my seventy-five-year-old mum. From the initial conversation with the manager, the consultation and the introduction of the carer, Home Instead (Wembley) made the process smooth. It has been difficult these past few years to look after Mum, whose health has been deteriorating, but now I have finally felt relief and know Mum is in safe hands. She looks forward to seeing her carer every morning and evening.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us. It has been our absolute pleasure to put your mind at rest and to give her the support and care she needs. Our caregivers thoroughly enjoy spending time with your mum. Thank you again.
My mother is eighty seven years old, extremely independent and an outgoing person. That is before she had a bad fall at home last November and fractured her sacrum and two lumbar vertebrae. I moved in with my Mother and started taking care of her. She has breast cancer, diabetes and has been pronounced having progressive dementia since 2015. This fall was the turning point in our lives. Mum was completely bedridden and just the opposite of the person I had known as Mum for last sixty nine years. Progress was slow and we took each day as it came. By January, I could feel the strain on myself looking after Mum. By the beginning of March, Mum was able to walk a little and do more things for herself but still not confident. I then approached Home Instead (Wembley) and asked if they could supply a carer as a companion for few hours a week so I could have a break. This was the best decision I ever made. Fantastic company and carers are very diligent and knowledgeable, Mum gets on well with her carer and I am at ease.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review for us. We will work exceptionally hard to ensure that you have the peace of mind to know that Mum is in safe hands and that she will be well looked after. Thank you again.
I am so pleased and blessed that I found Home Instead, at a time we needed help. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us. It means a lot. I know that our CAREGiver thoroughly enjoys his time with your Father. They have a fantastic relationship and it is good to know that he enjoys the visits. Thank you so much again.
Unfortunately, both had falls and broke their hips (not at the same time I hasten to add!) The care and support received was exceptional, not just the carers but backed up from the management team making sure we had care on site in every eventuality especially when my father briefly came out of hospital, Home Instead stepped up and helped us provide palliative care when it was urgently needed.
To conclude the care received has always been reliable, caring and most importantly the amazing carers have always treated my parents with dignity and compassion and consequently, my mother always looks forward to their visits. It is a great comfort to my wife and I to know that she is being looked after in such a kind and caring way and we would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead for care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a meaningful and kind response. It has been our absolute pleasure to care for your mother and father. Our CAREGivers adore your mother and it is lovely to hear that we bring comfort to you and your wife to know that she is looked after in a caring...
We needed immediate provision of daily home care for my 97-year-old father who had been isolating after losing his wife from Covid. He had been ill himself and was unable to look after his flat, clean his clothes and was very lonely. The Wembley Home Instead team really came to the rescue and have significantly aided his recovery. From the first moment we contacted the manager on the phone, we felt supported and they sprang into action. Dad was visited the next day, a Friday and his care started on Saturday. He is very happy with both of his carers, who are proactive in making suggestions to increase his comfort. The manager has continued to be involved and came to visit Dad when we were able to see him and has telephoned us recently to check that all is well and that Dad and the family, were satisfied with the service. We really like the daily messages on the confidential portal which reassures us that he is well, as he is very uncomplaining about his problems. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for the very kind words and taking the time to write such a lovely review. It means a lot to the Office Team and your Father's CAREGivers. Thank you so much again.
The staff and caring team have been a real life line. They have provided much needed practical and emotional support. The care is compassionate and kind and the systems and procedures are so efficient. We have heard so many horror stories about how long it takes to find the right care, we are so lucky to have struck gold at our second try rather than the 5th or 6th. The staff and our wonderful carers, thank you so much.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us regarding our service. It is our pleasure to support you. We will pass on your compliments to our CAREGivers. The whole Team have been very fortunate to support a lovely family. Thank you again.
We have been very happy with the service provided by Home Instead. They have listened to what my mother's needs are, carried out a thorough assessment and provided high-quality staff to assist her. The staff are easy to talk to and understanding of requirements regarding care. They would let us know if there were any changes in staff or whether they would be late, which is very rare, so we could contact Mum and reassure her. If we have any concerns they are always willing to listen and talk through the issues in a professional but kind manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of our service. It means so very much to us to be able to provide feedback to our Team. It is a pleasure caring for your Mother. Thank you again.
I am so very grateful that I found Home Instead. Living so far away from my parents has been very difficult for me to help them since the first lockdown. From the moment I met the staff I knew I had done the right thing in asking for help. Home Instead provides an excellent caregiver who cares for my father and helps my mother. My parents caregiver is a fabulous person, they look forward to him coming and talk about how lovely he is. Nothing is too much trouble, he goes above and beyond and I am truly grateful for all the care he gives. My father now is looking much better, his appetite is coming back and his general well being has improved immensely. He is always treated with dignity and humour - which is very important to my parents. It is comforting to know that they are looked after in such a kind and caring way. The management team have been amazing and are always there to help and support the needs of my parents and to offer advice. A fantastic bespoke personal service.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our service. Thank you for the compliments which will be passed on to your parents' CAREGiver. I know that he adores your parents and enjoys spending time with them too. It has been our pleasure to care for them and ensure they are well and happy. Thank you again.
We, as a family, cannot thank the carers enough for the help and care they give to my mother-in-law. They are always smiling, and my mother-in-law actually starts asking when will they arrive as she enjoys their company, and she has a good old chat with them. The office is great and responds to queries and emails straight away. I cannot praise the carers enough for all the work they do, and especially during this very difficult time with Covid. The manager is great and always so helpful, and we would recommend this company to anyone.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review for us. Thank you for the lovely compliments which I know both the manager and the CAREGivers will love to read. It continues to be a pleasure to support and care for your lovely mother-in-law and I know that the CAREGivers enjoy spending time with her.
Where to begin. The best way to describe our families experience is that they were our Guardian Angel's. Nothing ever too much trouble, very flexible, so caring and understanding to not only my parents but to us as a family particularly when Mum sadly passed away. Mum said when she was still with us she thought she needed to pinch herself as she could not believe how wonderful Home Instead were. Very true. The continuous care given to my Father who has Dementia has been exemplary. Thank you to the whole team each and every one of you has been our light.
Thank you so much for such a beautiful review. We are truly honoured to be able to care for your family and will continue to do so to the best of our abilities. Thank you very much for taking the time to review us.
Great team who respond to requests and tailor care to meet Mum's needs. Mum's situation was very changeable so this was really important to us. Much more flexible, understanding, empathetic and 'human' than another care company we tried. Always quick to respond to changes in our circumstances and letting us know if there were changes to schedules. Mum has appreciated the social aspects of individuals as much as the support they provide. Mum has a great relationship with her current carer and things are going very well. However, there have been some issues finding the 'best fit' previously but again the team were supportive in organising this. Having the same carer for visits has made things consistent and manageable for Mum who has very specific routines. Very kind people that we have made good relationships with over time.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a response for us. It is really kind of you to do so and to provide feedback. We hope to continue to provide care and support to Mum as much as possible. Thank you again.
Home Instead looked after Mum with warmth and affection, though mainly to make sure she took her medication - in the final months before she was admitted to hospital for end-of-life care. Then they returned to look after Dad, who, though physically frail, was mentally fit and mainly lonely after my mother's death. It seemed they loved him as much as he liked them, praising his sense of humour and - so I'm told - competing among themselves over who should be his main carer! Even when Dad said that, no, he could look after himself and cook for himself and didn't need the attention, he missed them when they weren't there. As he got weaker and more reliant on others to cook for him, he increasingly relished their company. It was also Home Instead that called the ambulance - and alerted us - when he was sick, more than once staying with him at the hospital until my brother or I could get there. We couldn't have been happier with their care. More importantly, neither could Dad.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review for us. It was pleasure to look after your parents and an absolute pleasure to look after your Dad. It is not a word of a lie that the CAREGivers fought over who should look after him :) He was genuinely loved and cared for. Thank you so much again
At a difficult time (Mum was immobile after knee replacement followed by Dad's sudden passing), we were at a loss as to how best to help Mum. That call we made to the director was the best thing we did. She gave us confidence that Mum could be helped to walk, her team guided us on the best type of carer for Mum and we were then introduced to her carer who we think is a living angel. She is an incredible lady, who looked after Mum as if she were her own. Mum's mobility is greatly improved (she can walk around with a frame) and she is much more self-confident. I cannot recommend Home Instead enough, for the way in which they gave us hope at a difficult time, for the carer they provided and for the professional way in which they managed Mum's care throughout.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review for us. We really appreciate it. It has been our pleasure to help your Mum get back on her feet and grow in confidence. We will pass on your compliments to our caregivers. Thank you again.
The management, everyone in the office and the caregivers have all been exceptional in providing ongoing care in such difficult circumstances over the last few months. Communication has been continually excellent - there is always someone available to talk to and to help, often arranging things or helping with requests at very short notice. It has been extremely reassuring to know that both of my Aunts have been looked after so well and that everyone involved cares so much.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. It has been our pleasure to support your Aunts during what has been a very difficult time for many elderly and vulnerable people. We will continue to support them during this time to ensure that they always have a hot cooked evening meal. Thank you again.
