Right at Home (Mid Sussex)

Right at Home support my Mum who has dementia and my Dad. Right At Home provide support with meals, meds and household but most importantly are kind and caring to my parents, so important as they are now the only social contacts my parents have on a day to day basis. The manager at Right At Home is always friendly, patient, kind and understanding which helps me to manage my parents' care from a distance. Mum and Dad both love seeing the carers and look forward to them arriving. Without Right At Home my parents would not be able to still live in their own home.

Right at Home (Mid Sussex) have provided an excellent service supporting my mum and aunt who both have dementia. They constantly want to go out and the team have supported them with taking them to coffees, shops and places of interest. I highly recommend the support they give to clients and their families.

We are very happy with the service we receive. Notification email each week letting us know the name of the carer. Always very good care taken. The care company are very good at trying to keep the same carer each week, which helps so much with anxiety or worries of going with a stranger. The main office is very accommodating with requests or changes asked for.

My daughter has two carers a week in the morning. They arrive on time, always happy, chatty and friendly. She goes out into the community doing all sorts of fun activities. My daughter enjoys spending time with her carers. I'm happy knowing she is in good caring hands. All the staff in the office are very professional, caring people. As her mother, I'm delighted.

I really cannot recommend these carers enough. They were brilliant. They have looked after my husband who has MND and provided the best possible care you could imagine. They genuinely really cared for my husband and tended to his every need. They also worked so hard helping me by cleaning the house, washing up, hoovering and anything else that needed doing. They also provided support and good advice where it was needed. They were always punctual, always happy and very engaging with us and we felt really comfortable having them in our home. My husband was particularly impressed by the foot massages he used to get. They really are second to none.

You simply wouldn’t want anyone else caring for them!

Right at Home provide an exceptional level of care. I have been continually impressed with the service they provide. They have never put a foot wrong in what was a very complicated caring situation. The whole team has one aim, to ensure the client is looked after as if a member of the family. They offer a personal service and go above and beyond to achieve this. They are always punctual and the minimum 45 minutes visits ensure the carers really get to know the people they are looking after, spending quality time with them and all done with a smile and in good humour. They are a fantastic team and highly recommended.

Thank you to the senior caregiver and caregiver for all the support and help you offered my mother. The care is exceptional and the attention to detail is brilliant. It may have been only a short period of 6 weeks while waiting for a care residence placing but both Mum and I thank you so much. Very professional trustworthy people working for a well-run company. Whilst we have agreed on activities I've been impressed by the ingenuity they have exercised to encourage eating, exercising and personal care to be carried out when Mum was, at times, reluctant. I would recommend their service to anyone who needs carers.

The wonderful team of carers from Right at Home continue to provide excellent support and care, allowing my aunt to fulfil her wish to remain in her own home. The kind, gentle and considerate way they help, while maintaining my aunt's dignity, is amazing. Their expertise and experience liaising with doctors and community nurses is invaluable and obvious that they have a very good, longstanding relationships with various other support organisations. Their communication, regular updates and quick flexibility to arrange extra visits, is great. We have been so impressed with their dedication and reliability- despite recent challenging travelling conditions in snow, the carers continued to arrived for every visit. Heartfelt thanks to them, they are highly recommended.

I couldn't have wished for a more lovely, caring, set of people to care for my parents. The dialogue has been excellent and they have always delivered a first-class service. They set themselves a high bar, differentiating themselves from other care providers, and really meet this. They supported Dad going into hospital and gave Mum support when he died shortly after. They increased their care sympathetically to help Mum stay in her own home despite, dementia taking hold, and have always gone above and beyond. The care given has been practical and companionable washing up, appointments, cleaning, checking the fridge, applying creams, and chatting over a cuppa with a wordsearch to encourage social engagement. Also relighting the boiler, sorting out water pouring in through the roof, etc. Mum has now been admitted to hospital and will not return home. Right at Home have enabled her to remain in her own home for as long as possible. I really cannot recommend this team highly enough!

Right at Home are an exceptional company. From day one my mother was treated with respect and dignity. All her carers she referred to as her friends. I would highly recommend this company. The carers go the extra mile for their clients. When my mother became very poorly at the end I couldn't ask for better people to support us.

Right at Home, Mid Sussex has an incredible team. From the front-line staff to those in the back office, all members of the team are kind, attentive, professional and most importantly caring. They care for my mum and stepdad at home with daily visits to prepare food, administer medication, assist with showers and many other household duties. I would recommend them highly.

The company were easy to contact and all individuals were friendly, efficient and informative. The woman who called twice a week for my limited period of need was particularly helpful and pleasant to talk to.

They are always on time, always efficient, follow instructions perfectly and repeat if necessary. They check to make sure they have completed everything before leaving. Wash and dry me pleasantly. I always enjoy their conversations and also their advice.

We were all nervous about our aunt having care at home, we need not have worried! She quickly began to bond with her lovely helpers - those were her words. Right at Home staff put her at ease and quickly encouraged her to make positive changes - we had been trying for ages. So reliable, and professional and treated her with such dignity. Communication with the office was efficient and helped us be at ease. At such a tricky time in her life, we were very grateful for the support and kindness shown. Thank you.

I would highly recommend you to everyone. Very impressed that two staff members come out to introduce a new carer each time to me. All the staff are very helpful and put up with my funny ways!

What an organised, caring company, Right at Home (Mid Sussex), is. I would recommend anybody worried about their loved one to apply for help. We started with just three quarters of an hour as my elderly Aunt needed help in the morning with washing, dressing and breakfast. It was a comfort to us, as a family, that this morning routine set her up for the day. She looked forward to seeing the ladies (she asked for females) who treated her with love and respect and became friends. We did gradually increase the care which was so easy to do with a quick phone call. Unfortunately, after a year it became clear we would have to consider full time care away from the home. I have already recommended Right at Home as I have no hesitation in saying they are a first class company including the management.

They are very caring, efficient and helpful in every way. Nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond and enable me to be as independent as I can.
