Carers are very different but all have such individual talents to contribute to the care of and comfort of me. They have added to my confidence in living a 'normal' life. Thank you for all the laughter.
We are glad that you have such a lovely relationship with our staff and enjoy their company. It is also great that they are helping you lead the independent lifestyle you are hoping for. Long may it continue!
Mum and I are very happy with the service you provide for us. In particular, one of her carers has become part of mum's routine and they get along like old friends regardless of the age difference. Her carer is a credit to your team, she is always so cheery, helpful and considerate and mum adores her. This enables me to go to work knowing mum is in good hands and without your team, I couldn't do that so thank you. They are always able to accommodate changes in times when required which I've appreciated, with various appointments for mum recently.
Thank you for your lovely feedback - it is great to hear how much our support has been appreciated. We know who the team member is, so we will ensure this glowing tribute is passed back!
Right at Home have always gone above and beyond for my dad, really looking out for him. Can't praise them highly enough. Without their kindness, dedication and thoughtfulness, I don't think he could maintain the independent life, living at home, that he wishes. It's like having an extra family member on the team.
Thank you for your kind review. It is an absolute joy to support your dad and we are so pleased to hear that our services really make a difference and are so highly valued by your family.
The carers supplied by your agency were diligent, cheerful, discrete and above all caring. My husband looked forward to their visits and light-hearted banter which overcame any embarrassment which might have been him being a very private person. Infact he became 'chatty' which surprised me enormously. Their thoughtfulness and kindness helped both of us through a very difficult year. I would however like to point out a little rudimentary training involving making beds up with sheets and blankets wouldn't come amiss as many are brought up with duvets, and could have been introduced to 'hospital corners' as part of their preparation for the job. They were all special people and completely undervalued by society as a whole, but appreciated wholeheartedly by my husband and I in an hour of need. Thank you.
It was an absolute privilege to support you and your husband during a very difficult time, and I know our Office and CareGiver teams hugely valued the relationships which were built. Thank you for your very kind comments - point taken about the bed making!
Can't thank Right at Home enough for the care and attention they give to Mum. She has been looked after by them for several years and we have always found the carers excellent. Mum never worries about which of 'her ladies' is coming. We have had a couple of incidences where we needed care cover at short notice and Right at Home have always found a member of staff to help.
Thank you for such lovely feedback. We really value the relationship we have had with your family in recent years and it is really gratifying to know that Mum feels reassured by the presence of our teams. We are always very happy to help out whenever we can.
Very efficient caring, kind and friendly girls. Nothing was too much trouble. I feel extremely well looked after. Management organisation is excellent.
Thank you kindly for your feedback in appraising our overall services. We feel very blessed to have such an amazing team of caregivers and such a fantastic office support team. It was a pleasure to support you and we are delighted that you are now back on your feet and no longer need us!
The service was excellent. We called for a temporary pause so we could assess what both our needs might be in the future.
Thank you for reviewing our services. We are delighted that you felt we provided an excellent service. It is always reassuring to hear that we are on the right track. Please don't hesitate to contact us again in the future if you feel we can be of assistance.
Pleasure that it's local and kept to short distances. Good quality and security for my problems.
We are really happy to hear that our service gives you the security you are looking for. Thank you for choosing us to provide your support.
My need for care at home is more social. I live in a retirement flat and need help with shopping and a bit of socialising. When out, my carer and I start off having a coffee and a sandwich in a cafe or we go to a garden centre and then the food shop and go to the bank. I find the outing very relaxing and we put the world to rights and have a laugh. I will admit that there has been a carer who was like the daughter I never had. That is praise indeed.
It is an absolute joy and delight for our staff to visit you and spend time with you. I think I know the carer you refer to with who you have specifically built a fantastic relationship with! I know the feeling is mutual!
I found that they were good company, conscientious and caring.
Thank you for your review. We value our ongoing relationship with you and are pleased to hear that you feel that you are being well supported.
The carers were professional and efficient yet interacted positively with my wife (and myself). they kept the mood light despite the very sad situation (my wife was dying).
It was such a privilege for our staff to have known you both and supported you during this sad and difficult time. We hope that we were in some way able to make a difference.
My mother has sadly died recently. For the last few years of her life, she had Right at Home (Mid Sussex) carers. Everything about the people and service was first class.
What a delight it was to have got to know Mum these past few years. The staff were very fond of her and the relationships they built with her. Thank you for your very kind words.
The team of carers at Right at Home (Mid Sussex) are fantastic ladies. In the most difficult time of my life, my father needed help as he was terminally ill and these ladies helped me make the last days of my father's life more bearable. He died with all the love and care around him. One member of staff especially worked so hard to ensure that the right equipment was received when he needed it. The member of staff and the team of girls were so good with my father, engaging with him, making him feel safe and cared for. I cannot thank this company enough for all their help and understanding. If your lucky enough to hire this agency you will be very grateful.
Thank you for such a kind review. It is particularly gratifying coming from someone who knows and understands the care industry. It was a privilege to support your amazing father at the end of his life and we were grateful for the opportunity to meet him and your lovely family.
Thank you again.
Thank you for your very kind words. It was an absolute delight to care for such an amazing character these past couple of years. We are also delighted that our colleagues at Right at Home have been able to support her in the area she has moved to so that she can enjoy some continuity with a company with shared values!
Most of the carers treated my husband with dignity and respect and gave me support at a very difficult time when my husband was dying. They were professional and caring and I felt I could rely on them.
It was a privilege for our staff to have got to know your husband over the past year and to support your family as best we could at a very difficult time. I'm pleased to hear that you found the staff to be reliable, respectful and professional as this is certainly what we set out to achieve with our teams.
The staff were all very kind and caring often gong above and beyond their duties. They were company for my father and took an interest in him, often bringing him his favourite doughnut as a treat. There was always someone on the end of a phone. The office staff were equally as caring and reacted quickly to any request. Everyone made things easy for dad and us.
It was a privilege to support you and your father and it is lovely to hear that we may have made a difference at a difficult time. Thank you for your kind words about our care team and our office support. It is reassuring to hear that our service is appreciated and that we appear to be on the right track!
In a short period of time, we had three carers of which only one was very good.
I believe we were covering one call every fortnight for your wife. We are glad to hear that you found the regular carer who we introduced to be very good for this call.
We looked around for months before we chose Right at Home and didn't look back. Carers often went above and beyond what was asked of them, which made a massive difference to our Mum. Communication was good so we were able to resolve issues quickly. I loved the social events as it gave us the opportunity to meet many of the faces behind the scenes.
Thank you for your very positive feedback about our CareGiver and office support systems. We do pride ourselves on having a team ethic of all working towards the benefit of our clients. It is particularly pleasing to hear that you valued our social events. We feel it is an important part of what we...
Right at Home was excellent at looking after Mum at a very difficult time. Always friendly and happy to help in any which way they can. Not only the carers but the office staff and manager. Very easy to talk too, happy to add or change if required with care and all lovely people. Mum moved into a care home at the end of October.
Thank you for your review. We hope that your Mum is settled happily into her new environment and that we were able to make a difference during the time we were supporting her at home.
The carers were mainly experienced and sympathetic kind and generous ladies. It would have been much better if we had the same ones each day, e.g we would know who was coming on a specific day of the week. Communication with the office was very good any problems were quickly resolved. On the whole, we were very satisfied with the service.
It was a delight to meet you in the office recently and a privilege to support your wife. Thank you for paying tribute to our fantastic team of caregivers. It wasn't always possible to send the same staff daily, but we always try and keep as much continuity as possible and try and ensure where there are changes, that clients are informed. We look forward to you staying in touch!

Andy joins the Right at Home network after a long career in the leisure industry. Initially working as a qualified golf professional, his career branched into management, latterly managing large proprietary golf and fitness resorts.
In early 2016, however, Andy decided it was time to channel his abilities into a business of his own, and of which he could be proud of. Andy’s parents were owners of two premier residential care homes in Burgess Hill, and so, having grown up in and around the environment, it was a natural choice to follow a similar path.
Andy explains, “I have long looked to use my skills and knowledge in developing my own business, and with years in customer service, management and public relations roles, the care industry seemed the perfect fit for me to contribute positively back to the local community, which has served me so well for the past forty years.”
“Having seen first-hand the richness that quality care can bring to the lives of the elderly, I feel passionately that I too can follow in my parents’ footsteps, and make a difference to those deserving of our support and understanding.”
“I am determined that Right at Home will offer the best home care service in the Mid Sussex area. We are building a team consisting of the best CareGivers, providing them with the right support, training and career development, within a fantastic working environment. This in turn ensures that our clients come to receive the highest standard of ‘person centred’ care – how they want it and when they need it.”
Andy still lives in Burgess Hill, along with his wife, two children and their dog. He still loves the occasional game of golf, plays football, is a keen supporter of Burgess Hill Cricket Club, and when time allows, likes to do crosswords, tend to his beloved garden and try to master the ukulele!
Lou has always wanted to work in care and, since leaving school, has gained hands-on experience within a number of NHS settings, care homes, hospices and individual private home care.
She has been working for Right at Home since 2018. Starting as a CareGiver, she always looked forward to the challenge of getting to know new clients, their families and what works best to ensure they are well cared for and feel safe within their home environment. Although her role has changed over the years, her passion for the role hasn't.
She was very pleased to be nominated for the RAH CareGiver of the Year 2021 and very proud to have won against stiff competition from all over the country.
In early 2022 Lou completed a level 4 Diploma in Adult Care and then became the Registered Manager of Right at Home Mid Sussex, a role that she is incredibly excited about.
Throughout the earlier part of my working life, I held a variety of roles in financial reconciliation and administration, acquiring a number of business and book-keeping qualifications along the way. Fifteen years ago, I left day-to-day employment so that I could focus on bringing up our two young children.
I later became a Teaching Assistant at the children’s primary school, enjoying a role where I really felt as if I was able to make a difference, and which I continued until this year when we decided to set up the business.
I am really looking forward to supporting Andy in developing the Right At Home Mid Sussex business, and learning more about the care industry, which is something I’ve never had involvement in before. I will soon be undergoing the same stringent training programme as our other CareGivers, so that I too will be able to deliver care in the homes of those that need us.
