The carers are kind, considerate and efficient. They took Mum on in the middle of a pandemic when the previous ones wouldn't take her back after being in hospital. They have done a great job in the worst of circumstances and always with a smile.
Throughout the year we used their services one people carer that really stood out as exceptional, superb carer, however, the manager's No2 also stepped in when needed in emergencies and amazing too. Another mention to another carer who also helped out when needed.
Blue Arrow don't do live-in care at this point in time and that's why we had to stop using their services which is a great shame as we were so happy with them.
I have been extremely impressed with Blue Arrow Care, a small company, strongly led by its co-owners, who regard all their carers as "family". The leaders' beliefs and ethos are reflected in all the carers and my husband is always treated with great kindness and dignity. The carers carry out their work with compassion and enthusiasm, despite long hours, a heavy workload, and emotionally draining work. You have to be a special kind of person to be a carer and I would say that Blue Arrow's carers are well chosen. Timings for visits can sometimes, inevitably be a bit erratic and I would suggest that clients are always phoned if carers are going to be late. Value for money? Difficult to judge as I have no other experience to compare the costs with. I would say it is satisfactory, considering the number of daily visits.
I would thoroughly recommend Blue Arrow Care to anyone. My brother has had support for the last three years and it’s always been very good. The carers that visit him have been fantastic and often do things for him above and beyond their remit. He has established solid relationships with his carers and they with him but always in a professional way. During this awful time, Blue Arrow have kept people going in to visit my brother and have sent regular emails to me and my brother to keep us in touch with what’s happening re visits, sickness of staff, etc. I would like to thank Blue Arrow and their staff for coping in these very difficult times. Well done to you all. Keep up the great work that you do.
Over the last few months of this coronavirus, the carers for my mum have been brilliant. As I cannot come to see Mum because of lockdown and I live out of the area to my mum, they have shown friendly and other practical care I can't give a moment. I don't feel so worried about knowing they are there for Mum and me if I needed it.
Blue Arrow have been visiting my mother twice a day for the last three months, and it's a great relief to know they are checking on her regularly. I don't have direct personal experience of the care they provide, but when I had concerns about whether she was eating enough, Blue Arrow was helpful and came up with a practical action plan for dealing with that, which seems to be working. They've managed not only to continue to provide her care during the coronavirus difficulties but have also kept me informed of what they're doing - I'm very grateful.
Dad’s condition warranted four double-up calls a day and we were keen to find the right carers for dad’s needs. Blue Arrow supported not only, dad but all the family. Whenever there was a problem it was addressed promptly and professionally by the manager. I can thoroughly recommend Blue Arrow as they do genuinely care for their clients. Thank you for all your support over the years.
My 93-year-old mum has been with this agency since last Christmas, and the service has been excellent from day one. They are kind, and extremely caring towards her. As she has dementia, she can sometimes be difficult at times, but they are always very understanding. It is wonderful having carers who really seem to care, and I feel I can trust them to look after her.
Pat, Thank you so much for your kind words we are so grateful.
The main carer was fabulous with my mum, showing great care and concern for her welfare. Always smiling, chatty and cheerful, she was willing to help in any way needed. Other Carers were equally as lovely and my mother got on with them all, looking forward to their visits. All staff were efficient, trustworthy, reliable and professional. They answered phone calls, emails and texts immediately.
My mother and our family were very pleased with this agency.
I am very happy with the service I receive.
The standard of care has increased with the new carer who is excellent. She provides all-round care. Not just the basics of washing and dressing but the little extras. Make the bed, sort out clothes, wipe down windows etc. That makes a big difference.
My husband has had three lovely carers to help him.
Thank you for your review. Your positive feedback means everything to us.
Friendly, cheerful wake up call.
Once again thank you.
Always kind, considerate and respectful. Nothing is too much trouble and always delivered with a smile. Great overall service.
Thank you so much. Your feedback means everything to us.
Good service and staff are very kind.
Thank you. Your review really is appreciated.
I would never have imagined this to be so. My deepest gratitude and thanks will be towards them especially the managing directors.
They come highly recommend in supporting people in similar situations to me. They have a calming influence given the stress I’ve been through this has been amazing.
We have not used these guys long as we were allocated a larger firm from the hospital. I wished we had changed sooner and I really think Blue Arrow Care Ltd should be high on the supplier list of carer agencies, they really do care about the patient and their families.
The services provided for my husband have been excellent. We are very pleased with his level of care and appreciate the professionalism of everyone at Blue Arrow Care Ltd.
Very happy overall.
Blue Arrow are caring and do everything to make life very comfortable.
