My carers always give the service I want - whether it is house or self relating services. Always have a joke with them, so look forward to seeing them.

Having used a number of agencies, this agency has never let me down and always provides well-trained, caring and professional staff. The team in admin are really helpful and efficient. The accounts department get the figures right each time which is quite a feat compared with other agencies. The person being cared for is always full of praise and are grateful for the care being given. The staff go the extra mile. There was one occasion when a relative was due to turn up to assist the person being cared for who couldn't be left alone. The agency staff was due to end their shift once the relative arrived. The relative didn't come and the agency staff waited hours until the next carer arrived so that the person being looked after wasn't left alone. With other agencies, I am constantly bothered with phone calls about problems. With this agency, they just get on quietly and do their job whilst still keeping me informed. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

Most of the carers are very good. They are usually very punctual and reliable. They are friendly and pleasant. My main complaints are as follows:
I have many different carers. Often I have someone who is new to me. While I accept that this is inevitable at times, I get a bit tired of constantly having to tell them what to do, how I like things done, and where things are kept. I would like to have one carer every day she is available - ie, it is not her day off. I don't mind having one person on the day that is her day off. My main reason for this is that when I am no longer able to speak for myself, or remember things, I need my carer to know my habits thoroughly, and especially where things are kept.

My second complaint is the irregularity of the invoices. More than a month goes by, sometimes several months, without an invoice, then I get several at once, followed by another a few days later.

I was very satisfied with all the help and support which I received from office staff and daily carers. I look forward to the company coming in to talk with me and for reassurance during the difficult time looking after and caring for my husband at home.

The carers have been looking after Mum and Dad since October. Mum is fiercely independent and very reluctant to accept help. All care has been negotiated as changes on a daily basis and now as well as accepting help with medication, more accepting of help with personal care and help around the house.

Whenever there have been any concerns about visits they have been raised and identified and instigated creams for dry skin and better way of managing catheter bags.

Rebekah Baldrey Job Title: Branch Manager Joined: 2020
Rebekah Baldrey

I began my journey in the care industry in 2016, initially driven by a personal motivation—to better understand how to support my mum in her care needs. What started as a practical decision quickly became a genuine passion. I found great fulfilment in the ability to positively impact others' lives, and I’ve never looked back.

Since then, I have worked exclusively in domiciliary care, a field I have come to deeply respect and value for its unique ability to support individuals in maintaining independence in their own homes. In 2020, I joined In Home Care during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, working as a carer in our Horndean branch. It was a particularly challenging time for the sector, but it also reinforced my commitment to providing consistent, compassionate, and high-quality care.

After just eight months, I was promoted to Senior Carer, recognising my reliability, dedication, and ability to support both clients and colleagues. Two years later, I progressed further to become a Field Care Supervisor, taking on increased responsibilities such as supervising care staff, conducting assessments, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong communication between office and field teams. At this time, I also transferred to our Chichester branch, where I continued to grow professionally.

My development continued, and I was proud to be promoted to Deputy Manager in August 2025 and to Branch Manager.. In this leadership role, I now support the overall coordination and quality assurance of our services, work closely with care teams to ensure high standards, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Throughout my career, I have actively pursued training and professional development opportunities. I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care with distinction, and I am now preparing to enrol in my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. I have also completed specialist training, including Infection Control Champion and Cyber Security Champion training, helping to reinforce safety and best practice within the organisation. Additionally, I have served as both an Induction Trainer and First Aid Trainer, supporting new staff with onboarding and essential skills development.

At the heart of everything I do is a desire to make a genuine difference in people’s lives. I take pride in the relationships I build with clients and their families, and I am committed to leading by example—ensuring care is delivered with dignity, respect, and professionalism always. I look forward to continuing my journey in care, developing as a leader, and helping to shape the future of high-quality domiciliary services.
