Overall Experience

The home care service stays in touch and always responds quickly to any questions. The carer is a perfect match and she is happy to discuss possible activities with me and to fit in with my domestic arrangements.

Home Instead South Lanarkshire provide a wonderful service to my mother which is allowing her to remain in her own home at the age of almost 94. Carers are kind, courteous and caring and office staff very amenable to help with any extra requests from the family.

Efficient and considerate of Dad's needs. Listen to our comments, very happy to accommodate any changes to Dad's care that may be required. All staff caring and friendly. Dad was treated with respect and dignity at all times by all care staff.

Overall Experience

Overall I appreciate the support they have provided me over the years. Could however pay closer attention to their client's preferred wants and needs. I understand however this is not been easy due to the shortage of staff etc, perhaps employing more care workers would help. Communication is poor between all including office staff, care workers, team leaders and clients and needs improvement.

Yes as with all care companies at the moment recruitment is very difficult, especially over the festive period when we were tight for staff. This has vastly improved in the last month as recruitment of new staff have come on board. I am sorry for the dip in service but you should see this become more consistent going forward.

Overall Experience

Home Instead provides personal care for my friend who has disabilities resulting from a stroke, all the carers are great and valued, as are all the staff. They are considerate to his needs and also realise that routine plays an important part in his care. If I ask for help or advice they will help if they can..so thank you Home Instead.

My experience is good.

The continuity of same care staff and also the same time each day is very important to my husband due to his Alzheimer's condition. The time sheet that I receive each Friday afternoon for the following week is also appreciated. The care staff are always professional, understanding and make my husband feel at ease which is a great help to myself.

Overall Experience

My mother has carers in twice a week for two days at a time in order to provide a break for her partner. The ladies are very friendly and thoughtful. They are trying hard to build a solid and trusting relationship with my mother. They understand her condition and work with her to help her maintain independence, control and dignity.

The team at Home Instead have been so helpful from the first phone call. Now that Dad is home, the lunchtime service they provide is outstanding, not only do they provide for my dad's needs, they seem to go above and beyond. I originally contacted Home Instead as we were struggling to get care four times a day for Dad. We have since been offered a lunchtime service but we declined as Dad feels relaxed and at ease with the staff, and looks forward to hearing their news or even a chat about sports.

Homecare has provided carers to my mother for a few months now. Their support and care have provided my mother with company and support. All are excellent and very supportive and helpful. Whether it is helping with showering, cleaning the house, washing bedding and clothing, going shopping or just sitting with a cup of tea and chatting they are all heroes.

This is a great and very supportive service. Staff are very pleasant, friendly and competent. I was attracted to the service because of its reliability and backup staff which means my mother would not be let down. Despite staff shortages, the office has always ensured my mother has a visit each Saturday as she expects.

Overall Experience
I have found all the staff at Home Instead to be very kind, courteous and extremely helpful. I always receive prompt replies to any of my queries and I feel they go the extra mile to aid and assist my family.
Using the app, it’s easy to check in and see how my Dad is doing on the day of the visit.
As I live two hundred miles away, it’s very reassuring to know that he’s receiving such good care. My Dad enjoys the visits also.
