Couldn't find fault with anything at review.
We are happy with all the service you have provided.
Home Instead has supported my dad since he came out of the hospital in April. His health and general well-being have improved considerably with the help of his carers. I don't know what he would do without them. Thank you to Home Instead.
I would also like to commend all the other staff involved particularly the care manager, the office staff and the field supervisor, who are always so helpful, prompt and efficient in dealing with any questions and making this service so good.
My family have spoken to both carer supervisor and care manager in relation to substitute carer, however, it has not resulted in any improvement. Ths has been reported at all reviews.
I would discontinue the service if my family agreed, however, they feel for my safety and well being I need someone with me when I attend to my personal hygiene due to mobility issues.
We know you like to have your main carer and out of the last 90 visits from 1st March to 31st May she has supported you for 45 of these visits. She only works 5 days a week so is unavailable 2 days a week and this combined with annual leave means she was not available for another 30 days over this...
Having now had several weeks of service I am delighted with all aspects provided. From the initial contact, set up meetings with the care manager and meeting with the staff providing my care, everything has been dealt with in a courteous and respectful manner. I feel they have really listened to my thoughts and needs and have gone out of their way. I feel they have really listened to my thoughts and needs and have gone out of their way to ensure it is just what I wanted and needed. The caregivers are such lovely people always on time, very high standard of care and support. I really enjoy my visits from the, from a company point of view too.
The companionship service provided to my father is first-class. I am very happy with the care he gets, the way he is looked after and the service he receives. The companionship service has delivered everything I was promised.
I cannot praise the service highly enough.
Support from management has been very good and I have always been contacted if there has been any change to our care.
It is a great relief to know that I go and visit a friend and know that my husband is in safe hands.
She loves her main carers and has a better life because of them.
She could not stay at home without this service.
My husband has a carer one evening per week to help with a shower. He is a very private man, I was a bit concerned about this, but I had no need to worry. The girl who comes in is an absolute gem, my husband (of 92 years) just loves her and is very comfortable with everything.
The caregiver responsible for my Aunt is very good and attentive. No issues whatsoever with her. Management lack good communication skills. I have had a repeat issue with your Covid policy. Different managers giving me different information. Despite twice informing management that my Aunt was isolating because of Covid. This was not passed on to her caregiver, I had to inform her. My aunt's information was mixed up with another client. This has left me feeling anxious about the poor quality of the companies internal communication.
I do apologise for the poor communication, which was an isolated incident, which we rectified the issue, however it should not have happened in the first place. We have spoken to the member of staff who was responsible and provided her with some refresher training as she had only been with us for...
I have care visits 3 times daily and I am pleased with the support I receive. The service is very reliable and to a high standard. The staff treat me well and respect my dignity.
Positive experience, staff are pleasant and obliging.
In summary, we have been perfectly satisfied with the quality of care provided.
We have noticed that Mum has grown in confidence and her mobility has increased just in the two to three weeks that her companion has been coming to her house. We almost wish we have sought the help of Home Instead much earlier.
We are very happy with care provided and find my father benefits greatly from his trips out.
My husband and I are delighted with the care and attention given to us since we started with your firm in August of this year. My husband was very wary at the beginning as he is a very private gentleman, but he quickly settled and now just enjoys the care which is being given to him.
My mother had to go into care. I informed Home Instead who said that is fine. Someone called me a couple of weeks later for an update. I said that my mother was still in care and unlikely to come back home. I then received a bill for chargeable cancelled care. When I challenged this I was told that the contract stated that four weeks' notice had to be given to terminate the contract. I was not told this at the point of signing the contract and was not advised this was the case when in dialogue during the cancellation process. I feel that this four-week notice period is sharp practice considering the changeable needs of elderly dementia patients.
I am sorry you had a bad experience in the final stages of your mothers care. We do highlight to all our new clients that there is a four week notice cancellation policy and it is in bold to make it easier for clients to see. I am sorry that you did not pick up on the cancellation notice period...
The carer who looks after my husband is lovely. She is friendly, polite and always makes sure that my husband is well cared for. There is always someone in the office if I need them. If I have any queries they are dealt with promptly. I would definitely recommend Home Instead.
