The care you have provided has been outstanding. Initially, mum was a bit resistant to the carers and was particularly reticent about being helped with her hygiene needs. Through the consistency of carers provided, well-matched to mum, we soon overcame any of her initial trepidation. The hygiene resistance was overcome by employing a number of great techniques and encouragement. She was soon very happy to be "bathroom pampered" and even looked forward to it! Right At Home have been consistent, reliable, flexible and communicative throughout.

From the initial stages of my engagement with Right at Home, I found them very efficient, friendly and accommodating. The 'prior to care' setting up process was very reassuring for both myself and my elderly father. The carers themselves were always there when they said they would be, and the level of care was excellent. My father was a reluctant client, but their friendly, caring and compassionate way of doing things soon won him over. Right at Home were very flexible to our particular needs, and nothing ever seemed too difficult to sort out. I always got the impression that they were working as a team and with the needs of the client at the centre of their process.

One of the hardest decisions to make is choosing the right care provider to help look after someone you love. Our main priorities were to make sure Mum who had dementia was cared for with love, kindness, respect and remain independent in her own home. Both the carers and the office staff did exactly this and more, going above and beyond in so many ways. They were always open to suggestions, were informative and helpful, never too busy to accommodate changes to Mum’s care needs and gave me peace of mind that Mum was safe and being looked after with dignity, they really are exceptional. There isn’t one person in the company that I have met or dealt with that shouldn’t be proud of what they do and more importantly how they do it. If you have found ‘Right at Home’ then I would say you need to look no further, you’ve found the right company to help look after the person you love.

I cannot fault the care provided since my mum came out of hospital. The carers have supported her and given her back a great deal of the confidence she had lost after a fall. When there have been occasions to contact the office regarding mum’s care, I have been assured that changes have been implemented. Everything is well documented. All of the carers are very approachable and more than willing to attend to mum’s needs.

I could not recommend Right at Home North Cheshire more highly. Initially Mum needed limited support but now has extensive support with medication, personal care and cooking meals. It has been a huge weight off my mind knowing Mum's needs are met and she is so well cared for. The office staff are lovely, professional and easily contactable. They are so accommodating about extra care and last minute requests when Mum needed to be accompanied to A&E. The care staff are absolutely amazing and are enabling Mum to be living independently in her own home for as long as possible. They are extremely personable, incredibly caring and always go the extra mile. This has been particularly reassuring during the COVID pandemic when Mum has had one main carer dealing with all her needs to offer added protection and continuity of care. I am extremely grateful for the service Mum has received over the last 4 years and would recommend Right At Home to anyone considering care at home for an elderly relative.

Right at Home have been a revelation to me. I am the only carer for my parents who are 88 and 91 respectively. They live in their own home, and I looked after them and worked at the same time. Just prior to Covid-19, my dad took seriously ill, and my mum had a bad fall resulting in them both being in the hospital. To get them home I required a care package. Right at Home came in and were marvellously liaising with doctor's, social workers, pharmacy's and hospitals to get my parents home. It was a great weight off my shoulders. They provided social contact, made sure they are looking after themselves, supervised them taking medication, taking care of shopping, cleaning, washing and prepared meals for them. It's not just a care service. During the pandemic, I am not allowed to visit my parents because my wife is on the shielded list. During this time, the carers have rung me on a regular basis and kept me updated on my parent's health. I cannot thank them enough, and would highly recommend them.

I brought in Right at Home to support my Mum over the last six months. They provided companionship when the family couldn't be around, they showed an understanding of her dementia and they provided practical assistance with basic tasks around the home at a time when this was becoming difficult. The number of different carers visiting was kept to a minimum and this helped to build familiarity. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the staff and management.

After meeting the carers looking after me, I became quite at ease with them and look forward to their visits. Their manner is always kind and helpful, wanting to know if there is anything else I need.

Just like to say a big thank you to Right at Home for the excellent respite care they provided for my Mum. The carers are very professional, kind and friendly and placed great emphasis on providing the best possible support for Mum. The minimum 1-hour visits were specifically tailored to suit her social and emotional needs. This, together with the continuity of carers provided, allowed me and my family to take a break from our role as carers, which makes it possible for my Mum to live independently in her own home.

The carers have only been coming less than a week and already I feel a great pressure taken off me. The team are so caring and supportive of me and my husband. I can only send my gratitude and many thanks to all of you. You are all angels. Thank you.

The Right At Home (North Cheshire & Leigh) team cared for my parents for almost 18 months, until their needs became more complex. Based on our experiences it's easy to see why they were awarded the CQC rating of Outstanding because this was the standard of everything they did. It was a pleasure to have their professional, cheerful caregivers in our home and the office team were unfailingly friendly and supportive. We highly recommend them if you're looking for care in the home.

Medication was dispensed and they work very closely with all the agencies and family to deliver a first class package.

My father had support from Right at Home for 18 months after he'd been diagnosed with vascular dementia. Our mother had died a few years previously. My sister and I both live in the South of England and were getting increasingly anxious and guilty about dad living on his own. As dad's condition deteriorated, we discovered that Right at Home were able to be flexible and responsive to his changing needs. We particularly appreciated that the carers who visited dad were very committed, reliable and got to know dad really well. They provided structure to his day, conversation, company and helped him keep on top of the house helped chores. From the families point of view, we felt that Right at Home was filling a gap in dads life and helping to alleviate his isolation. We also found that they were very good at keeping us up to date and informed us of any changes. We knew that dad was in good hands, and couldn't have hoped for a better care provider.

They are simply outstanding.

From the initial conversation, care assessment and carers visits, it was a pleasant experience. I live many miles away and knowing they were there gave me much confidence. They cared for my Grandfather and were so understanding at the numerous hospital admissions and assisted in making sure his final few months were comfortable and lived well. Although they were there for my Grandfather they spent time talking to my grandmother and she also looked forward to the carers coming.

I can't thank the whole team enough and can hand on heart say anyone would be lucky to be cared for by Right At Home North Cheshire. Thank you for all you have done for me and my family.

We first started using Right at Home to take my 94 year old mother on the occasional shopping trip. Following a fall she has since required more intensive care from the Right at Home Team. This involved 4 visits per day for approximately 4 weeks. Due to their excellent care Mum now only needs visits twice a day which will be ongoing. We cannot recommend the Right at Home Team highly enough. Nothing appears to be too much trouble, they treat Mum with compassion and respect and Mum has settled into the routine very well as a result.

We are extremely satisfied that Mum is having the best care possible.

As a nurse I have worked with hundreds (if not thousands!) of carers, but the team who helped to care for my mum in her final months are the most outstanding carers I have ever met. They were dedicated to ensuring that every single need was met, they gave her the dignity and respect that she needed, and kept us all smiling with their bright and bubbly personalities. We can never thank them enough for bringing joy and laughter into our home during a very tough time. Mum was happy, comfortable and surrounded by love the day she passed away. We will be forever grateful to the carers for helping us to achieve that goal.

I am really pleased with the services provided by Right at Home. The carers are all really happy in their jobs and always have a smile. My husband gets the best care I could ask for and this allows me to relax knowing that he is happy and content. All the staff treat my husband with dignity and friendliness.
