The quality care provided is based on personal experience of the owner having received poor quality care for a loved one.

Right at Home carefully select Caregivers for their compassion and empathy, taking on only those with a genuine caring nature and training them to the highest standards. Minimum one-hour visits and continuity of Caregivers allow for a meaningful and lasting relationship with clients which is key to building trust.

Carers place a great emphasis on providing support for individuals and tailoring this to each persons needs. This can be anything from sharing a cup of tea, a chat and a joke which can make a huge difference to the health and well-being of the person being cared for, to 24/7 live-in care.

The carers were arranged by 'hospice at home". I recommend you go along with their tendency to plan well ahead, even if you have to keep changing the plans (which is what happened to us).
My wife was very independent, mentally alert, a private person and frightened of medical things. The carers coped
with this very well. They talked a lot with her, explaining what would be needed as she got weaker. The most critical practical advice was probably "you must start sleeping in that hospital bed downstairs at night because what will happen if you stop being able to get down on the stairlift?" She died at home, which is what she wanted.

The care that my wife has received has been excellent since we started using the company. The staff are extremely competent, caring, and friendly at every visit. They engage her in conversation throughout the visit which puts her at ease. Nothing is too much trouble for them and it has enabled me to

We are very impressed with the professional approach to Mum's care. They are helpful, friendly, and will do anything that is asked to do. Communication with the office is good, and the response is very timely. They are all punctual and have been of immeasurable help during the difficult Covid times.

Finding myself in a position needing personal home care for the first time in my life I was faced with the onerous task of selecting a care company with no previous experience of what I needed or what could be offered. Right at home was recommended by a contact at the MND association, on reviewing the
CQC reports they were one of my 3 choices to interview. The personal attitude and professionalism of the regional manager when visiting to assess my situation was outstanding. They were offering everything and more to meet my needs both immediate and in the future. Offering the flexibility of both services and the visits when needed. I felt it was very much a tailored service for me personally. My 3 main carers have become part of my precious support network that makes my change in life circumstances more bearable. All the carers I meet have gone above and beyond their responsibilities making me feel a valued client being supported by valued employees. I could not be more impressed.

Since my wife suffered a major brain injury this care company has the best care I have seen. The ladies that look after my wife are all 5 stars, they are the best. They always take their time to interact with my wife, always talking and laughing with her. Couldn't ask for anything else! Nothing is too

I would wholeheartedly recommend Right at Home (North Cheshire & Leigh) to anyone looking for care and support for a loved one wanting to retain their independence and to continue living at home.
The personally-tailored Care Plan ensures that my Mums needs and preferences are addressed by her marvellous
carers who are cheerful, caring, and considerate. Also professional, punctual and reliable. The policy of prior introduction of a new carer allows for comfortable, respectful transitions as necessary.
Communication is very important to me as I do not live nearby. Right at Home have always been immediately accessible by phone and even when I have needed emergency assistance they have calmly responded giving immediate practical support. I am also informed if there are any issues or concerns.
Having confidence that I can access timely, appropriate help and assistance for my Mum if it is needed is most reassuring and I cannot fault this or any other aspect of the outstanding service provided

In October 2020 Right at Home formulated a care package, at very short notice, to support my 83-year-old dad in his care for my mum for who has vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Initially, my dad was reticent about letting strangers into the household but all the caregivers, without exception,
put both of my parents at ease and treated mum with kindness, compassion and were always respectful of her dignity. This care package was regularly reviewed and night sitters were introduced at our request. The Right at Home team are effective communicators and have also alerted me when there is something wrong; e.g. after a night of disturbed sleep caring for my mum, my dad looked totally exhausted and that required urgent family input. The caregivers also alerted my dad to a pressure sore on mum’s back and because of their vigilance this was treated expeditiously. Recently the household tested positively for Covid and Right at Home were able to provide extra support at very short notice.

The care you have provided has been outstanding. Initially, mum was a bit resistant to the carers and was particularly reticent about being helped with her hygiene needs. Through the consistency of carers provided, well-matched to mum, we soon overcame any of her initial trepidation. The hygiene resistance
was overcome by employing a number of great techniques and encouragement. She was soon very happy to be "bathroom pampered" and even looked forward to it! Right At Home have been consistent, reliable, flexible and communicative throughout.

From the initial stages of my engagement with Right at Home, I found them very efficient, friendly and accommodating. The 'prior to care' setting up process was very reassuring for both myself and my elderly father. The carers themselves were always there when they said they would be, and the level
of care was excellent. My father was a reluctant client, but their friendly, caring and compassionate way of doing things soon won him over. Right at Home were very flexible to our particular needs, and nothing ever seemed too difficult to sort out. I always got the impression that they were working as a team and with the needs of the client at the centre of their process.

One of the hardest decisions to make is choosing the right care provider to help look after someone you love. Our main priorities were to make sure Mum who had dementia was cared for with love, kindness, respect and remain independent in her own home. Both the carers and the office staff did exactly
this and more, going above and beyond in so many ways. They were always open to suggestions, were informative and helpful, never too busy to accommodate changes to Mum’s care needs and gave me peace of mind that Mum was safe and being looked after with dignity, they really are exceptional. There isn’t one person in the company that I have met or dealt with that shouldn’t be proud of what they do and more importantly how they do it. If you have found ‘Right at Home’ then I would say you need to look no further, you’ve found the right company to help look after the person you love.

In a interview, I was once asked what I wanted to do with my life. Without hesitation, I answered. " I want to make a difference. "while I've successfully built two car rental businesses from the ground up and influenced many employees along the way, that core purpose has never changed.


After owning Right at Home Stockport and Didsbury, I had the unique privilege of delivering outstanding care in a community I've called home for over seventeen years. It allowed me to bring together skills I've honed in business with a personal mission: to make a real and lasting impact.


Due to the success for Right at Home Stockport and Didsbury, I've now taken on Right at Home North Cheshire and Leigh, expanding our reach and commitment to delivering exceptional person-centred care across even more communities.


Throughout my career, I've always demanding high standards of service-not just for the sake of business, but because I believe deeply in treating every customer with the Same dignity and respect we'd offer our own grandparents. That philosophy shaped my past businesses and now defines the way I lead in the home care sector. Providing compassionate, quality-driven care isn't just a goal-it's our promise.

After taking care of my mother-in-law when she was terminally ill with cancer, she was overwhelmed with how I knew exactly what to do to help make things easier and more comfortable for her. One of her cousins who had never met me before actually thought I was my mother-in-law's nurse because of the way I cared for her, this was when my mother-in-law made me promise her that I would become a carer!


I kept my promise to her and became a carer 10 months after she passed away which was 15 years ago. I have never looked back since, my only regret is that I didn't become a carer sooner, I love everything about it, it's a very rewarding job, and I love to put smiles on my clients' faces. I love baking and have supported events at Right At Home. I also walked 8k for Alzheimer's last year at Tatton Park with some of the team and raised £745.


I really enjoy helping others and meeting new people. It's lovely when you gain trust in others and you know you are making a difference.


Nothing phases me and I love a challenge.
