I have been a caregiver since my early teens, and in 2015, I found my true calling when I joined the Home Instead family. From the moment I came across Home Instead, I knew it was the right place for me. Every single person I have met within the organisation carries a deep passion for changing the lives of the elderly, and I wanted nothing more than to be a part of that mission in every possible way.

Growing up in a large multicultural family, I was taught from an early age to respect and care for elders—values I now strive to instil in my own children. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges within the care sector through my grandmother’s experience, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in Shoreham and the surrounding towns and villages. Helping to provide compassionate, high-quality care is not just my profession - it is my purpose.

I joined Home Instead in July 2018 as the full-time Recruiter & Trainer to support the business in providing further exceptional care to our local clients. In 2020 I took on the role of Head of CAREGiver experience., supporting CAREGivers through their entire Home Instead journey.

Having previously worked within the recruitment sector, as well as being a CAREGiver on both a professional and personal basis, this role seemed to be a natural fit. I have an insight into all the challenges and successes within the care industry and really want to help make a positive difference.

I have built my career on providing high standards of service which in turn has enabled me to support business growth through referrals and repeat business. I was attracted to working for Home Instead after speaking with Jag and realising that she has a passion for high standards and also like me has a genuine care for people.

When not at work you will find me on long walks with my dogs, tending to my garden and mixing with my large family.

I joined Home Instead in October 2017 as a Care Professional I had previously worked in customer service for many years.

I took a career break to care for my terminally ill Dad which made me want to get into the Care industry to make a difference to the elderly and support their independence to stay at home.

In August 2020 I was promoted to Field care supervisor I am looking forward to the new challenges ahead and to support all of our clients in their homes for an independent life with the support from our Care Professionals. And to also provide support for our Care Professionals on their journey with Home Instead to continue providing the highest of standards in delivering care for our clients.

Away from work I am a Beaver scout leader and love the outdoors and adventures. I also enjoy the odd weekend away and spending time with my family.

I joined the Home Instead team in November 2017 as the team administrator. I now work in recruitment, making sure we have the right Care Professionals to meet our client's needs. Prior to joining Home Instead I worked for 10 years in the recruitment and training industry.

My long-standing interest in care put me in the direction of Home Instead Shoreham. I was attracted to their ethos and commitment to providing the best quality care within the community. I have always felt strongly about my own family members remaining independent, and it is a discussion I and my loved ones have had many times. I feel I have found my calling in the care industry as I love helping others and I love the feeling that I am changing people’s lives for the better.

I love working at Home Instead since day one as the whole team is so friendly and supportive. I really enjoy coming to work and every day brings something different.
