It is a difficult time when a parent has reached a level of infirmity that requires care from a professional care provider. The management and staff made this difficult time easier by providing an excellent service and level of care with endless patience, understanding and kindness to not only the service user but to the family of the service user. This is was something that really helped us all. Thank you so much.

Lovely carers, always friendly and supportive for Mum. They let her do what she can and then sort out the rest.
Can't fault them
Having had experience of other care providers, they are worthe their weight in gold
Thank you so much for your kind words and heartfelt feedback. We're truly delighted to hear that your mum is being supported by a team of carers who not only provide the help she needs but also encourage her independence. It means a great deal to us that you've had experience with other providers...
Firstly I was a bit apprehensive about letting people into my house to help me. How wrong was I!
All the teams that came morning, noon and night were so professional, kind caring and extremely gentle.
The confident way they handle any situation, ie showering, getting me out of bed and making my meals throughout the day has been handled with extreme kindness for my situation.
I want to thank them so much.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. We completely understand how daunting it can feel at first to welcome carers into your home-so it means a great deal to hear that our team helped put you at ease and provided care with the professionalism, kindness, and respect you deserve. Your...
I would just like to say the care my husband is receiving is above and beyond. His carers are compassionate, empathic and always kind which means a great deal. Nothing is too much trouble and when he is struggling they never rush him and always give him time if he asks them to wait. They have taken the time to build a rapport with him which puts him at ease and due to his dementia has allowed him to remember who they are. I would have no trouble recommending Enabling Care For You.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful message. We are truly heartened to hear that your husband is receiving the compassionate and respectful care he deserves. It means a great deal to us to know that our team is making a genuine difference, taking time, showing patience, and building...
My Uncle was in need of carers on his release from Maidstone Hospital at the beginning of February 2025. The carers were palliative and the hospital made the arrangements. The carers came in four day shifts/four times a day and I have to say we had four of the most caring, kind carers. They were so giving of themselves. They were gentle and kind and gave my uncle the dignity that sadly he felt he was losing.
I want to thank you for your help and support. I am not sure how, without your team, we would have managed as long as we did.
I appreciate there is a whole team sorting everything out behind the scenes and I would like to thank all of you for your support.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. It truly means a great deal to hear that our team were able to support your uncle with the dignity, compassion, and care he deserved during such a sensitive time.We are proud to have carers who go above and beyond, not only delivering...
I am very pleased with the carers that I have. They are very kind and helpful. Before they leave they make sure I have everything I need. I couldn't ask for a better service or carers.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that you're happy with the care you're receiving. It means a great deal to know our carers are making a positive difference and ensuring you feel supported before they leave. We'll be sure to pass on your lovely feedback to the team it will mean the world to them. If there's ever anything more we can do, just let us know.
I cannot thank Enabling Care enough for everything they've done for my Father. I truly believe the extraordinary team helped speed up his recovery with their exceptional standards of care, kindness and attention to detail. They came into our lives at a very difficult time when the future seemed uncertain but as the weeks unfolded with the amazing support and care they showed to Dad he was transformed both mentally and physically. He is where he is today thanks to this amazing team of people for whom I will always be eternally grateful. They changed my life as well. Allowing me time to relax, safe in the knowledge that they were looking after my Dad as if he were a member of their own family. There simply aren't enough superlatives to describe them all. Thank you so much. You are the very best.

Mum was at home receiving palliative care prior to going into hospice.
Mums care provision went from 1 person once a day up to 2 people 4 times a day. The manager was excellent at arranging the changing support.
The carers on the whole were excellent.

I would like to thak you for your carers coming in. They have been very caring & professional. I do have panic attacks, they talk me through them, we would have a chat in the morning. I cannot fault them at all. I looked forward to seeing them all everyday. They knew that I had to have cream on my legs, didn't need to tell them, got into a routine very quick. I would have loved to keep them. Please make sure this goes on their record - they deserve a pay rise, yours sincerley.

Dad was diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago and was recently told that it had spread and there was nothing more they could do. Dad's final wish was to spend the rest of his life at home. Devastating, he could no long stand or walk, and he had become incontinent, however thanks to enabling Care, dad's wish was granted. Within an hour of him returning home from hospital the team paid him a visit to introduce themselves and assist his needs. They immediately put dad at ease.
Dad was an independent man and was anxious about being washed by anyone other than a family member. The team were respectful and never made him feel undignified. They attended 4 times a day to attend to his every need. Thanks to Enabling Care dad was out of bed every day and the team got him standing walking with a frame. The care that dad received was exceptional Enabling Care made my dad's final wishes possible. When dad's carers heard that he passed they attended the family home to show their respects. Never will I forget this act of such kindness. Thank you, Enable Care you are truly amazing.

We would like to say all the team of carers looking after my husband were excellent over the Christmas and New Year period and they are still providing the same caring care today. Their friendly approach brings a smile to him every time they come. We couldn't have managed without them.
Thank you for your wonderful review! It's a pleasure to be part of your husband's support. I'm so thrilled the company ethos has been embedded throughout the care.
Our experience with 'Enabling Care for You' was very good. The staff were always kind and caring to my husband which made him feel safe. The staff were always obliging and were always happy to help him with any request. They always gave him lots of time and never made us feel that they had to rush off to their next client.
Many thanks for review. It was a privilege to be part of the support.
The end result was a patient and chatty time with my wife, who described her as lovely.
The end result was excellent.
Many thanks for such a lovely review. I am so pleased that the service was up your expectations.
We had a great experience with all the carers who assisted my husband in his end-of-life care. They were very caring and helpful and came back that day to give us a cuddle and give us their condolences.
Many thanks for your lovely review. It was a privilege to be able to care for your husband during the end of his life. Our thoughts are with you all.
Enabling Care For You stepped in to provide additional care to support the 24-hour care we already had in place for our 94-year-old mother. She has dementia and doesn't like strangers in the house. However, she quickly became relaxed with the Enabling Care for You carers who have been visiting twice a day to look after her over the past few months. The process of organizing this care was friendly and efficient, and the team are professional, great communicators and easy to get in touch with at all times. I would definitely recommend contacting them to discuss your care needs.
Thank you for your lovely 5-star review! I am so pleased that you have all found the experience to be friendly and efficient. I am pleased that you are happy with the care your mother has received and continues to receive.
May I thank you for all you did and advice from your fantastic staff.
Many thanks for your 5-star review. It was a pleasure supporting the package of care

Philippa Potter is the Founder and Director of Enabling Care For You, established in 2013 to provide high-quality, person-centred care in the community. With a career spanning over 27 years in the health and social care sector, Philippa has built her professional reputation on strong values, practical leadership, and an unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those in her care.
Currently undertaking her Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, Philippa has a proven record of combining academic learning with practical expertise. She completed her Level 5 NVQ in Leadership for Health and Social Care in 2008, following earlier achievements of Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Care.
These qualifications reflect her lifelong commitment to professional development and to leading by example.
Philippa’s journey into care began in a residential home in Plaxtol, Sevenoaks, where she held the role of Manager and formed a longstanding professional partnership with Lesley, with whom she later co-founded Enabling Care For You. After the birth of her youngest child, Philippa felt drawn to work more closely with people in their own homes. She spent two years working for a mental health charity, supporting vulnerable adults and gaining valuable frontline experience that deepened her understanding of community-based care.
Philippa’s career progressed further when she joined Kent County Council’s Commercial Services flagship care agency. Her leadership abilities were quickly recognised, and she advanced from Branch Manager to Registered Manager for Kent and Brighton, and later to Area Manager. These roles gave her responsibility for overseeing large, diverse teams and ensuring consistent, high-quality standards across multiple areas.
In 2013, driven by a conviction that care could be done differently – with greater compassion, stronger accountability, and more specialist expertise – Philippa took the bold step of starting her own agency. Under her leadership, Enabling Care For You has developed a strong reputation for delivering specialist support to adults with palliative and complex care needs. The agency is known for its ability to combine compassion with clinical excellence, offering bespoke care packages that prioritise dignity, independence, and comfort.
Philippa remains actively involved in the day-to-day running of the agency. Her hands-on approach ensures that she maintains direct contact with clients, families, and staff, fostering a culture of trust and integrity. She is particularly recognised for her ability to support individuals with complex needs at home, often working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Beyond her professional role, Philippa is a strong advocate for continuous improvement in social care. She believes in nurturing staff through training, mentorship, and professional development, ensuring that the next generation of care professionals carries forward the values of empathy, respect, and excellence.
Philippa is widely respected for her vision, leadership, and commitment to high standards of care, and continues to drive Enabling Care For You forward as a leading provider of specialist community care.
Lesley brings over 40 years of experience in the care sector and a wealth of knowledge shaped by decades of hands-on practice. Her career began in residential care, where she balanced raising her young family with a deep commitment to supporting others.
In 1994, Lesley took a bold and personal step by opening her own residential care home within her family home. What began with one client quickly grew into a respected, family-run service supporting up to five residents. For 24 years, she provided care with warmth, professionalism, and a personal touch that families valued deeply. The home closed in 2017 due to family logistics, but the impact of Lesley’s dedication lives on in the lives she touched.
Lesley holds the Registered Manager’s Award (RMA) and has completed Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Health and Social Care, reflecting both her practical skill and her leadership ability.
When Enabling Care For You was first founded, Lesley joined as a sleeping partner, quietly supporting the agency as it found its feet. But as the business grew, her depth of experience became invaluable. Today, Lesley plays an active role in the day-to-day running of the agency, offering seasoned insight, compassion, and a deep understanding of client needs.
Families know Lesley for her approachable nature and her ability to combine decades of experience with genuine warmth. She helps to ensure that Enabling Care For You remains true to its roots: delivering care that feels personal, professional, and firmly grounded in real-world experience.

Amy began her working career in retail but after some time realised she wanted a more rewarding and hands-on role where she could truly make a difference. This led her to change career paths and move into the care sector, starting in a care home setting. There, she supported older adults and those under 65 living with dementia, physical disabilities or requiring residential or nursing care.
While Amy loved this work, she was keen to broaden her skills and support people with more complex needs. She transitioned into community care where she has spent the past seven years providing highly clinical and complex support in people’s homes.
Amy’s commitment, loyalty and consistently person-centred approach have earned her excellent feedback from clients, families and colleagues alike. In recognition of her dedication and expertise, she completed her Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and is preparing to undertake her Level 5.
Recently promoted to Team Leader, Amy now supports both clients and staff in the field while also taking on additional responsibilities from the office. Her wealth of experience, clinical knowledge and compassionate leadership make her an invaluable member of the team.
