This is why we always advise family members that there is a 30-minute leeway either way. This ensures staff have adequate time if they have an emergency in the call in front. Unfortunately, this is out of our hands in the case of waiting for an emergency response.

Philippa Founded Enabling Care For You in 2013 alongside Lesley, following a longstanding professional partnership that began in a residential care home in Plaxtol, Sevenoaks, where Philippa held the role of Manager.
After the birth of her youngest child, Philippa felt a strong calling to work within the community. She spent two years working for a mental health charity, gaining valuable experience before joining Kent County Council’s Commercial Services flagship care agency. There, her leadership skills quickly stood out. She progressed from Branch Manager to Registered Manager for Kent and Brighton, and was later promoted to Area Manager.
Philippa holds a Level 5 NVQ in Leadership for Health and Social Care, completed in 2008, and previously achieved Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Care. Her career in health and social care spans over 25 years, during which she has consistently demonstrated a passion for high-quality, person-centred support.
Driven by a belief that care could be done better, Philippa took the bold step to start her own agency, and Enabling Care For You was born. Under her leadership, the agency has developed a strong reputation for specialist support for adults with palliative and complex care needs, combining compassion with clinical excellence.

Since joining Enabling Care For You Ltd four years ago, Teresa has gone from strength to strength, progressing from field-based work to her current senior leadership role as Head of Operations and Care. She has also successfully completed her Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, reflecting her commitment to learning and development.
Teresa is known for her exceptional dedication to her role. Her passion for high-quality care shines through in everything she does. She is deeply committed to supporting both clients and staff, and her calm, organised approach is key to the smooth running of the service.
Teresa oversees the day-to-day operations of the agency and is a vital link in liaising with professionals, particularly around hospital discharges and complex care coordination. Previously a Senior Clinical Support Worker, Amelia brings first-hand understanding of the challenges and demands of care work.
