Over all time Enabling Care For You Ltd has 125 reviews.
Initially the visits were twice daily, but subsequently changed to one daily, and the change was made at my request and was immediately acknowledged and actioned.
The staff were willing to carry out any reasonable tasks requested, and were extremely helpful, and supportive. They showed great kindness and understanding, and I cannot speak too highly of the excellent service provided by Enabling Care for You.
In addition, the Head of Operations, and Care, Teresa always was willing to go the extra mile, and always responded to my emails very promptly, even though this was often at weekends. She went out of her way to ensure that the care my brother was given, was exactly what was required.
We are truly grateful for your kind words and are delighted to hear that you and your brother had such a positive experience with our team. It means a great deal to know that our carers were able to provide the kindness,...
Enabling care for you were excellent at quickly putting in place arrangements for my mum when she came out of hospital - even though it was the weekend, they were ready the following day. The carers were friendly and professional, providing great care for my mum when she needed it most.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review. We're delighted we could step in so quickly to support your mum, especially following her discharge from hospital. We know how important those first few days at home are, and our team works hard to ensure care is in place as quickly as possible, including...
Enabling Care For You provided the bridging care for my wife when she came out of hospital on Christmas Eve and they were so kind, caring, good humoured and nothing was too much trouble even though it was the Christmas period and as a family we were unprepared for caring for someone at home. So, when we needed to find a longer term care provider a few weeks later, we immediately contacted Enabling Care For You and were so pleased that they were able to come back and provide the package of care that we needed. For the next few months it was like they became a part of the family as they provided personal care for my wife on a daily basis with consistent good humour and professionalism. Everyone who visited was a credit to the company and we really appreciate all that they did during this difficult period.
We are so pleased that we were able to support your wife from the moment she returned home on Christmas Eve and then continue to provide her ongoing care when you needed us again. We...
The carers were kind, cheerful, respectful towards my husband. Gave him privacy and dignity. Made sure my husband was thoroughly washed, clean clothes, bedding etc. The carers had good ideas re drinking cup, lowering bed and using sofa cushions. The carers were very kind to myself and interested in my activities. The office staff were helpful and well organised. I would not hesitate to recommend this organisation.
We are delighted to hear that our carers treated your husband with the kindness, dignity and respect he deserved, while ensuring he was comfortable, well cared for and supported. It is...
The carers that tended my husband were marvellous. Always tended to his needs and made sure he was very comfortable. I would recommend these people all the time.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a privilege to support your husband, and we are grateful that you took the time to share your experience. Our care team is dedicated to ensuring that every client is treated with dignity, compassion, and comfort, so it means a great deal to hear that...
My parents needed extra support when my dad was discharged from hospital (he refused the hospital care package) I rang Enabling care and spoke to the wonderful Teresa, we discussed a care package that would suit my parents and that I was happy with. The extra care started the next day. I will never be able to thank everyone at Enabling care enough for treating my parents with respect and kindness and for the peace of mind you have given me.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We are truly grateful you took the time to share your experience with us.
Coming home from hospital can be a very worrying time for families, especially when care decisions need to be made quickly, so we are pleased we were able to put the right...
Efficient and friendly office staff, with someone always there to answer the phone. The care workers are all efficient, caring and considerate. Will always assist and tend to personal needs. They bring with them a friendly ray of sunshine, whilst you get different carers every 2/4 days, the rota allows the same carers to return from time to time over the weeks, which allows them to know ones routine and living conditions. Not needing to instruct a new person each time. This is appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It really means a great deal to the whole team to know that our office staff and carers are making such a positive difference.
We understand how important consistency is when receiving care at home, so we are pleased that the rota has helped you become...
The carers who assisted my mother have been very good. Polite, respectful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were patient and understanding when my mother could only communicate her needs through family, or through signals by hand or whispering. Thank you all for making her resting days dignified and peaceful, and working so closely with us as her supportive family.
Our carers will be deeply touched by your feedback. Supporting both your mother and your family...
I cannot put into words how much Blessing ,Taku, Patricia and Munya meant to my family during my wife's final days . They didn't just provide medical care; they provided genuine love and dignity.Their kindness extended beyond my wife to our entire family, supporting us through our hardest moments.Seeing them walk in with a smile every day brought a peace to our home .We will be forever grateful for the light they brought into such a dark time .
What you've described is exactly what care should be at its very best not just meeting...
The team were on board the same day my husband was discharged back home. For the short time my husband was home for end of life care, the enabling team were kind and caring, they listened to me at each visit and put in place and did whatever I requested of them in the care for each visit, including placing an extra towel for his dignity. They were all calm and caring, and professional, they were kind to my husband, even though he only wanted me to care for him he did acknowledge and greet them, I also found it difficult not to interfere being an ex-manager of a care home but was assured they were well trained and had no second thoughts about what they needed to do. If anyone needs their help i would recommend them as I could not have cared for my husband alone, and I would like to thank each and every carer that attended my home to care for my husband because they don't always get the thanks they deserve, so THANK YOU.
We're very proud that the team could be there for you so quickly and support you both during such an incredibly difficult and personal time. End-of-life care is never easy, and it takes real strength to be there for a...
The team helped look after my dad when he came from from hospital on 29th December until he passed away on 31st December.
It truly was exceptional care and dignity which the whole team showed my Dad when they attended - be that washing him or making him more comfortable.
Without exception they made sure to speak to him before they did anything as he could still hear even though he couldn't communicate very well.
Philippa popped in on one of the days with some paperwork to sign and she too was lovely, understood we were having a difficult time and got out of our hair as quickly as she could.
The care team were a credit to the company. We were nervous about the level of care that might be provided but it was absolutely excellent and despite very short notice (less than 3hrs) they even attended on Dad's first night home.
We have always believed that even when someone can no...
The team has improved and we got to know each other more. I'm very grateful for the help. Thank you.
We are very pleased to hear that you have felt the positive progress within the team and that relationships have strengthened over time. Continuity and mutual understanding are essential to delivering high-quality care, and it is encouraging to know this has made a difference to your...
I have needed support for over 1 month after having a fall. The staff who come to care for and help me are always cheerful and professional in manner, despite their sometimes challenging work circumstances. I wouldn't have been able to cope at home without their kindly attentions and look forward to their daily visits.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your kind words. We are so pleased to hear that our team has been able to support you during your recovery following your fall. Your comments about our carers being cheerful and professional, even in challenging circumstances, mean a great deal to us...
All staff were fantastic with my mum, they helped lift my mum's spirits, considering when she was in pain. They treated her with dignity. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. It genuinely means a great deal to us.Your mum was treated with the dignity she deserved, and I'm glad our team could lift her spirits, even on the hard days when pain made everything heavier. That's exactly why they do this work not just to...
Enabling care have been coming in to my mum for only a few days and I can say I am actually impressed with the care and compassion they have shown to her in the early stages of her care I know that when I am away from her she will be looked after as if they are her family.
You can step out of the door...
Enabling Care For You have been absolutely wonderful. They made my mum feel so happy and well cared for. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They always rang me straight away if there were ever any changes to my terminally ill mums health. They were gentle and caring with mums fragile body. They made mum feel special and always made her smile. Mum was kept pristinely clean and her creams were applied everyday. Mums visit times were set up perfectly to allow for her to have her 4 hourly painkiller right on the dot everyday. The carers very kindly rang me and waited at the property for me to arrive when they found my mum had passed away during the night. It was so comforting to know mum wasn't alone. We highly recommend Philippa, Teresa, Whitney, and all of the carers for all of their help and kindness. They made mums final months so comfortable and safe and they gave me huge peace of mind that mum was in such good hands. I can't thank them enough.
We simply did what we...
My carer has been amazing. She really helped me at a very traumatic time in my life. She was very efficient and reliable, too. I was treated with dignity and felt safe at all times. She also helped my mood by chatting and making jokes. I am so appreciative and grateful for her help and support. I will never forget her excellent service and supportive care.
Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We are truly pleased to hear that your carer was able to support you so well during a very difficult period. Providing dependable, respectful care and ensuring our clients feel safe and valued is at the heart of what we do, and it is...
It is so reassuring to know that Mum is being so well cared for by you all. The care team are always friendly, efficient and compassionate towards Mum. We are very grateful as a family that Mum is comfortable and content. Thank you.

Carers always polite and obliging, supportive respectful and friendly.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that our carers' politeness, support, and friendliness are making a difference. It's exactly the standard we strive for every day, and your feedback means a great deal to the whole team.
My husband (53) was discharged from hospital after 17 weeks following on from a motorbike accident. He's mobility is minimal and therefore we found ourselves in the position of needing carers.
Enabling care visit 3 times a day to support my husband and they have had a massive impact on his coming home. We have regular carers who are lovely, and accept that we are young to need this kind of support, we have a crazy dog, a teenage son and that I work full time and am often on conference calls at 7am
They support my husband in getting up and ready for the day and then return later in the day to support further.
I am incredibly grateful to both carers for their kindness, compassion and support - and for going with the flow in our crazy home.
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely feedback. It really means a great deal to hear how well things are going since your husband's discharge, and that our carers have helped make the transition home a positive one.We understand how challenging it can be adjusting after such a long hospital...

Philippa Potter is the Founder and Director of Enabling Care For You, established in 2013 to provide high-quality, person-centred care in the community. With a career spanning over 27 years in the health and social care sector, Philippa has built her professional reputation on strong values, practical leadership, and an unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those in her care.
Currently undertaking her Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, Philippa has a proven record of combining academic learning with practical expertise. She completed her Level 5 NVQ in Leadership for Health and Social Care in 2008, following earlier achievements of Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Care.
These qualifications reflect her lifelong commitment to professional development and to leading by example.
Philippa’s journey into care began in a residential home in Plaxtol, Sevenoaks, where she held the role of Manager and formed a longstanding professional partnership with Lesley, with whom she later co-founded Enabling Care For You. After the birth of her youngest child, Philippa felt drawn to work more closely with people in their own homes. She spent two years working for a mental health charity, supporting vulnerable adults and gaining valuable frontline experience that deepened her understanding of community-based care.
Philippa’s career progressed further when she joined Kent County Council’s Commercial Services flagship care agency. Her leadership abilities were quickly recognised, and she advanced from Branch Manager to Registered Manager for Kent and Brighton, and later to Area Manager. These roles gave her responsibility for overseeing large, diverse teams and ensuring consistent, high-quality standards across multiple areas.
In 2013, driven by a conviction that care could be done differently – with greater compassion, stronger accountability, and more specialist expertise – Philippa took the bold step of starting her own agency. Under her leadership, Enabling Care For You has developed a strong reputation for delivering specialist support to adults with palliative and complex care needs. The agency is known for its ability to combine compassion with clinical excellence, offering bespoke care packages that prioritise dignity, independence, and comfort.
Philippa remains actively involved in the day-to-day running of the agency. Her hands-on approach ensures that she maintains direct contact with clients, families, and staff, fostering a culture of trust and integrity. She is particularly recognised for her ability to support individuals with complex needs at home, often working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Beyond her professional role, Philippa is a strong advocate for continuous improvement in social care. She believes in nurturing staff through training, mentorship, and professional development, ensuring that the next generation of care professionals carries forward the values of empathy, respect, and excellence.
Philippa is widely respected for her vision, leadership, and commitment to high standards of care, and continues to drive Enabling Care For You forward as a leading provider of specialist community care.

Lesley brings over 40 years of experience in the care sector and a wealth of knowledge shaped by decades of hands-on practice. Her career began in residential care, where she balanced raising her young family with a deep commitment to supporting others.
In 1994, Lesley took a bold and personal step by opening her own residential care home within her family home. What began with one client quickly grew into a respected, family-run service supporting up to five residents. For 24 years, she provided care with warmth, professionalism, and a personal touch that families valued deeply. The home closed in 2017 due to family logistics, but the impact of Lesley’s dedication lives on in the lives she touched.
Lesley holds the Registered Manager’s Award (RMA) and has completed Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Health and Social Care, reflecting both her practical skill and her leadership ability.
When Enabling Care For You was first founded, Lesley joined as a sleeping partner, quietly supporting the agency as it found its feet. But as the business grew, her depth of experience became invaluable. Today, Lesley plays an active role in the day-to-day running of the agency, offering seasoned insight, compassion, and a deep understanding of client needs.
Families know Lesley for her approachable nature and her ability to combine decades of experience with genuine warmth. She helps to ensure that Enabling Care For You remains true to its roots: delivering care that feels personal, professional, and firmly grounded in real-world experience.

Teresa has worked in Health and Social Care for over 15 years, building a wealth of experience across home care, palliative care, and assessment services. She has worked with a range of providers throughout her career, giving her a broad perspective and a strong foundation in delivering care that truly meets people’s needs.
Since joining Enabling Care For You four years ago, Teresa has gone from strength to strength. Starting out in a field-based role, she has worked her way up to become Head of Operations and Care, leading the day-to-day running of the service. Along the way, she has also successfully completed her Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, reflecting her commitment to professional development and her passion for continuous improvement.
Teresa is known for her dedication and her calm, organised approach. She is always available to support both clients and staff, offering guidance, reassurance, and practical solutions whenever they are needed. Families and professionals alike value her reliability and warmth, particularly when she is coordinating complex care or managing hospital discharges.
At the heart of her role is a passion for high-quality care. Teresa works tirelessly to ensure that the agency runs smoothly, clients receive the best possible support, and staff feel confident and well-guided. Her ability to balance compassion with leadership makes her a trusted figure and an invaluable part of the Enabling Care For You team.

Amelia-Jane is the youngest member of the Enabling Care For You team, but she brings with her a wealth of experience gained both in the community and within the office. She began her career supporting complex clients in the field, where her dedication, clinical knowledge, and natural compassion quickly stood out.
After completing her Diploma in Business Administration, Amelia went on to achieve her Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. She is now working towards her Level 5 Diploma in People Management, a clear reflection of her drive and commitment to professional growth. Her ultimate goal is to progress into a specialist HR leadership role, where she can focus on staff development, well-being, and building a strong culture of support across the organisation.
Amelia’s combination of frontline care experience and administrative expertise made her a natural fit for leadership. Recently promoted to People & Office Support Lead, she oversees daily office operations with calm efficiency while continuing to carry out client assessments in the community. This dual role allows her to stay closely connected to both staff and service users, ensuring her leadership remains practical and people-focused.
Previously a Senior Clinical Support Worker, Amelia understands first-hand the challenges and rewards of care work. As the administrative backbone of the agency, she approaches problems with speed, insight, and a solution-focused mindset, ensuring both staff and clients receive the support they need, when they need it.
With her blend of clinical knowledge, office leadership, and a clear vision for her future in HR, Amelia-Jane is not only an invaluable part of the Enabling Care For You team today but also a rising leader of tomorrow.

Amy began her working career in retail but, after some time, realised she wanted a more rewarding and hands-on role where she could truly make a difference. This led her to change career paths and move into the care sector, starting in a care home setting. There, she supported older adults and those under 65 living with dementia, physical disabilities or requiring residential or nursing care.
While Amy loved this work, she was keen to broaden her skills and support people with more complex needs. She transitioned into community care where she has spent the past seven years providing highly clinical and complex support in people’s homes.
Amy’s commitment, loyalty and consistently person-centred approach have earned her excellent feedback from clients, families and colleagues alike. In recognition of her dedication and expertise, she completed her Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and is preparing to undertake her Level 5.
Recently promoted to Team Leader, Amy now supports both clients and staff in the field while also taking on additional responsibilities from the office. Her wealth of experience, clinical knowledge and compassionate leadership make her an invaluable member of the team.

Victoria, known to colleagues and clients as Vicki, is an experienced and dedicated care professional with a strong background in both complex care and early years development. She began her career as a Toddler Room Leader, where she developed strong leadership, safeguarding, and communication skills, before progressing into a role as an Assessor, supporting others in their learning and professional development within care settings.
Vicki joined Enabling Care in August 2022 and has since progressed steadily through the ranks, achieving a strong pass in her Level 3 in Care. She has built extensive hands-on experience supporting individuals with complex needs, demonstrating a calm, knowledgeable, and person-centred approach at all times.
During her time with the company, Vicki moved into a Senior role, where she has taken on additional responsibilities including mentoring staff, overseeing care delivery, and ensuring high standards are consistently maintained. She is confident in managing challenging situations, supporting care staff in the field, and working closely with clients and families to ensure the best possible outcomes.
In her current role as a Team Leader within the office, Vicki plays a key role in the day-to-day running of services. However, she is far from desk-bound. She is regularly out in the field carrying out spot checks, supporting staff during care calls, and ensuring that standards are not just talked about, but consistently delivered. She provides hands-on guidance, observes care delivery in real time, and steps in when needed, offering reassurance and practical support to both staff and clients.
Vicki is known for being approachable, reliable, and supportive, with staff valuing her calm manner and willingness to get stuck in when it matters most. Whether she is mentoring a new carer, reviewing care practices in a client’s home, or resolving challenges during a shift, she leads by example and maintains high expectations across the service.
Alongside her professional strengths, Vicki is known for her warm, friendly personality and positive energy. A true people-person, she builds strong relationships with both colleagues and clients. Often referred to as the “Queen of Photo Promotion,” she brings creativity and enthusiasm to the team, celebrating achievements and helping to foster a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

Polly began her career in care at the age of 16 after securing a Saturday job in a residential care home when she left school. Initially, her role involved making cups of tea, spending time chatting with residents and assisting with activities. It was during these early experiences that she discovered her passion for caring for others. Seeing the positive impact that a simple conversation, a smile or a small act of kindness could have on someone’s day inspired her to build a lifelong career in health and social care.
With over 20 years of experience in the care sector, Polly has developed extensive knowledge and expertise across a wide range of care settings. She began her career as a Care Professional, providing hands-on support to people in their own homes, before progressing into office-based management and coordination roles. Having worked on both the frontline and behind the scenes, Polly has a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by care professionals, as well as the importance of delivering safe, effective and compassionate care.
Throughout her career, Polly has supported individuals with a wide variety of needs, including older people, those living with dementia, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, end-of-life care and complex health needs. She understands that every individual is unique and strongly believes that care should always be tailored to the person, rather than expecting the person to fit around the service. Ensuring that every client is treated with dignity, respect and compassion is something she is deeply passionate about.
Polly is committed to delivering the highest possible standards in everything she does. She is known for her dedication, reliability and positive attitude, always striving to go the extra mile for both clients and colleagues. She enjoys finding solutions to challenges and believes that strong communication, teamwork and honesty are the key to providing exceptional care.
As a Care Coordinator, Polly takes great pride in ensuring that clients receive consistent, person-centred support from a team of carers who understand their individual needs and preferences. She understands the importance of continuity of care and works hard to build positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals and colleagues alike. Her approachable nature and willingness to listen allow her to develop trusting relationships and ensure that people always feel heard and valued.
Polly is ambitious and continuously looks for opportunities to develop both personally and professionally. She enjoys expanding her knowledge, learning new skills and keeping up to date with best practice to ensure she can provide the highest quality service. She welcomes new challenges and sees every experience as an opportunity to learn and improve. As part of her ongoing professional development, Polly will shortly be undertaking her Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, further strengthening her knowledge and skills to support both clients and colleagues while continuing to deliver the highest standards of care.
Outside of work, Polly enjoys spending quality time with her family and creating lasting memories together. Family is incredibly important to her, and she believes that the same compassion, respect and kindness shown within her own family should be reflected in the care and support provided to every client. Her caring nature, genuine compassion and commitment to making a positive difference are what continue to drive her passion for the care profession every single day.

Jess recently joined Enabling Care For You as a Trainee Care Coordinator and is already enjoying becoming part of the team.
Jess attended Aylesford Secondary School, where she thrived and developed the confidence and people skills that have continued throughout her working life.
Before joining Enabling Care For You, Jess worked in a residential home supporting adults with disabilities, a role she absolutely loved. During this time, she built some wonderful relationships with the people she supported and made many special memories. This experience strengthened her passion for helping others and making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, Jess’s biggest passion is horses and showjumping. Her love of horses led to an incredible opportunity to move to Spain and work with showjumping horses. It was an experience she thoroughly enjoyed and one that gave her the opportunity to follow her passion while experiencing a completely different way of life.
After returning to the UK, Jess was ready for a new challenge and wanted to build on her previous experience in care while developing a new career. This led her to join Enabling Care For You as a Trainee Care Coordinator.
Jess is particularly looking forward to problem-solving, taking on the everyday challenges that come with coordinating care, supporting our care teams and making a real difference to the people we support and their families.
Jess has received a very warm welcome from the team and is excited to continue learning, developing her skills and progressing within Enabling Care For You.
