Service is good. The 18:00 people can be late, the carers do ring up but your office does not. Carers have been two-and-a-half hours late which made me upset. I am disabled, I walk with two sticks.
We are sorry that you were upset our carer was late for your 18:00 call. What we did: We arranged for you to meet the Manager. After your meeting you understood the carer was late due to a medical emergency with one of our Service Users and that communication has since improved. We have also met...
The service is good.
Willing to help with chores and listen to Mum talk.
They leave the kitchen clean and tidy and always ask Mum if she needs anything else done before they leave.
I left a message for the manager and her deputy via the online system which again has not been replied to, despite being sent weeks ago.
Sometimes the daily care notes re: carer duties for my dad, are very hard to make sense of or understand - not clear if dad has actually eaten anything or just assumed he has. Confusing.
The carers we have met are lovely, and we are particularly impressed with one member of staff, who goes above and beyond. She’s an angel without wings. The management team are amazing. If you have any concerns, they have them addressed ASAP.
Overall, I would highly recommend this company.
If all staff are as attentive as the ones that were assigned to my mum, then the company is choosing the best.
Keep up the good work. Would highly recommend.
Having worked in care in the past and still having interaction with care companies, I was worried about the type of care she received but I had no need for concern. So far the carers are amazing, three carers in particular Mum loves (even if she doesn't always behave that way). So thank you Yorkshire & Humber Healthcare, you certainly tick all the boxes.
I have been very impressed with the care three staff members of Yorkshire & Humber Healthcare have provided to my mother since commencing working with her in February. The staff have all demonstrated excellent attitudes which has helped gain trust and made Mum feel safe and confident. The staff accomplish a lot of practical work in the allotted time and are able to meet Mum's needs such as feeding, medication and hygiene.
All staff have been kind and good. Two have been outstanding. They have helped me in every way that I need and for the majority of the time anticipated my requirements rather than me telling them.
The carers who come here have given excellent support and help to me but they never have time to chat. They don't seem to have any time. The only thing I am disappointed with is the carers have difficulty using the microwave oven, most of the time the meals are dried up or uncooked and the meals are a lot of money. These meals are not cheap.
Overall the care we get for my husband is quite good. We recommend the care as good managerial, general staff, carers etc. Administrators are really good - polite, conforming and professional. Even when there have been things to discuss we have always come up with good conclusions. We've never been ignored.
They are approachable and easy to contact if we have any concerns.
Mum and I are very pleased with all the care and attention from all the carers. We are very pleased with the service. Thank you very much.
We are so happy with you. You have made life so much better for my mum, treating her with respect and dignity. You are all amazing and go above and beyond your normal duties. Very caring and genuine.
The members of the senior management team are considerate and conscientious and lead by example to create a caring ethos. My 94-year-old father has mixed dementia and has been unsettled by young care workers with limited experience. The members have responded positively to concerns and have adapted accordingly. The more experienced care workers instil confidence are kind and respectful, and they spend time putting Dad at ease. The administrative support staff are also very helpful.
Very good.
Great comms, looks after mum well, although mum can be very tedious at times. Mum's bungalow is amazingly clean. They try really hard to get her to eat and wash (to no avail), but they still persevere in a nice, positive way.
We have no complaints, and my dad considers the ones who have been with him since the beginning of Covid as friends.
His carers are really lovely people who really do care, and I can not praise them enough. They always manage to get to him, even in harsh weather times and go over and above to make him feel comfortable and safe.
There is good communication between myself and the carers, and I have full confidence in them all. I honestly do not know how we would have gotten through the last two years without the support and dedication of these lovely people.
I would recommend Yorkshire and Humber to anyone needing support for their loved ones. I am also impressed by the support team, who regularly contact me to ask if we are happy with the care being provided.
We have found the care provision provided by York’s and Humber Healthcare Alliance very satisfactory. The staff are very polite, on time and helpful. The service allows us to plan for the unexpected when additional cover may be required or requests are made at short notice. My fathers flat is left tidy and clean, which we find excellent, and he appreciates the time the staff take to have a conversation.
They are very accommodating, personal and professional.
I enjoy using the service and would recommend it to others.
They address all my support needs all the time.
