Karis Care Services

Karis Care have looked after my dad for the past year or so. They have been so kind, so caring, always smiling and happy to help in any way. Dad loved their visits and I would definitely recommend them.

I have nothing but the highest praise for the kindness, professionalism and care that Karis provided for my Mother. All staff, especially one in particular who is brilliant, were living in for the last 3 and a half months of Mum's life at Makins Court, Alresford. I highly recommend them, and thank you to the manager and your amazing, special Team.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service and care provided during what was a very challenging period for the terminally ill person who required it. The speed at which Karis Care responded and set up the care required. The carers were exceptional, giving amazing support and building relationship with the person being cared for. Thanks to the level of care and empathy provided it not only helped the person concerned but us as a family.

Cover was always provided and the care staff discharged their dutues wirh good humour and a positive attitude.

Our 24/7 carer was like a knight in shining armour - her arrival was very timely and made the world of difference to me. Unfortunately my father passed away within 9 days of this new care package starting, but even in that short time she brought him great comfort and the whole family adored her. She was extremely competent and kind and I honestly don't know what I would have done without her at the end. I definitely recommend Karis Care Company to anyone.

Everyone at Karis Care were so helpful and responsive, often at very short notice. Only one tiny glitch in the admin which was quickly sorted. The fact that carers were local made a big difference to how responsive Karis could be to my mum-in-law's needs.

The professionalism and compassion of the manager and her team started from initial discussions and continued through to my father's last trip to the hospital and hospice. Their patience and care for Dad and consideration for his family, as well as their competency, was excellent. Always aware that they were in my parents' home, they were supportive but not intrusive, and flexible when we needed to change schedules. I would not hesitate to recommend Karis to anyone looking for support.

Exemplary care of my beloved wife from February 2021 until her passing in November 2023. My wife was rendered paraplegic after an operation, and thus seriously disabled. She also suffered from severe PTSD which meant that caring for her was sometimes difficult. Her carers quickly learned to make her comfortable and serve her needs and my wife grew fond of those she knew well.

The manager and her team are thoughtful and helpful while looking after my mum and I can relax knowing she’s in the best hands. They are stars and we as a family fully appreciate their help. I know Mum seems calm and happy with them. Thanks.

After a 3 week hospital stay, my mum came home to the friendly face of a member of staff, who was to become my mum's 24/7 carer for the following weeks. Mum's carer made such a difference for us all. I could immediately relax because it was obvious how capable and kind she was and made a very stressful time bearable. We will always be so grateful for the care and kindness that Mum received. The family were very pleased with the standards of care provided for my mother in her final days. She was treated with kindness and respect by staff and management, and nothing was too much trouble. We would have no hesitation in recommending your service to others and cannot thank you enough.

From the outset, the live-in carer was warm and responsive to my needs and anticipated well. The carer was very well organised and arranged the many items need in labelled draws. The handling of my medication was timely and effective and help shown when needed to my family members in feeding me.

During the final ten days of my Grandmothers life, she was looked after twenty four seven by one of the Karis Care Services Ltd carers. The carer was excellent and put the family's mind at ease knowing that my Nan was being looked after by someone so professional. Nothing was too much trouble and she kept in touch with me to let me know how things were and she phoned around the family when she felt that there was a change in my Nan that could be indicating the end was near. In those ten days my mum, sister and I developed a strong relationship with her and she became a significant part of our lives. On the night before my Nan passed away, the carer told my Nan that she was going to bed and my Nan asked her not to leave her alone, the wonderful carer sat up into the early hours with my Nan during her last night on earth. To know that she wasn't lonely on that night means the world to my family and I. I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend Karis Care Services Ltd and thank them for being fantastic at their job.

I have found all staff to be extremely skilled, caring and kind. I consider myself very fortunate to have their services.

My husband looked forward to each and every visit. All staff were friendly and efficient at all times.

Karis Care Services are a blessing to the Convent of St Lucy. The quality of service, friendliness of staff and their positive attitude, on-going knowledge of client's needs and involvement in care planning are excellent. Communication for Karis Care Services is key and greatly efficient. Management are readily available should an unfortunate matter arise and it is then dealt with appropriately.

Her manager has kept me informed of things such as changes and problems and we have resolved them together.
