Guardian Angel Carers - Spelthorne, Elmbridge and Runnymede

I would thoroughly recommend them.

My mother's health deteriorated after a chest infection in March and she was spending most of the day on or in her bed. I was visiting 3 times a day. Guardian Angels stepped in at short notice to provide the care needed. Her schedule has settled down and she generally has the same members of the team at roughly the same time each day, providing continuity. Being able to see their notes after every visit means I can keep an eye on things.

I have emailed complaining but as yet not had a response/reply.

We are very happy with the care provided to my mother. All our carers are friendly, attentive, and very chatty, which is a tonic for somebody who doesn't leave the house! I would recommend Guardian Angels.

As I have just started using your service, I feel it is too soon to comment. A little more time would be better, once I have become adjusted to the service and any changes I may make. Initially, I am most impressed at how friendly and charming your staff are.

Great service from the initial meeting to setting up liaison, carer and payment. Dad is now able to have an all-over wash with assistance and rest breaks and to have a chat whilst the carer prepares his dinner.

Mum needed carers urgently and Guardian Angel Carers - Spelthorne were able to start within two days and it was a huge weight off my mind knowing Mum had help three times a day. I have met some of the carers and they are wonderful and very friendly. The ladies in the office are super friendly and helpful as well. I would highly recommend.

All of the Guardian Angels have been wonderful. From the first call, to my mother's assessment and the carers chosen to look after her; they have been so helpful and accommodating. The carers have enabled my mum to start enjoying life after a long illness and I couldn't be more grateful.

My mum's carers look after her well and bring a burst of energy and warmth into an otherwise lonely house. Her main carer is well matched and encourages her to eat and to be more active. She is always positive.

Friendly and super efficient carers and admin staff - always supportive of Dad and myself - thoroughly decent and skilled carers - the office ladies are always a phone call away for helpful advice and support.

My 93-year-old mother has received care from Guardian Angels Carers - Spelthorne now for a couple of years. However, recently my mother has had some healthcare issues and guardian angels could not have been more helpful from the office staff to the carers who have been outstanding. I know my mother fully appreciates them all and so do I. We look forward to continuing with their care once my mother is recovered.

Guardian Angel Carers have cared for my dad for the past 9 months. I have been extremely happy with the loving care given towards my Dad. The carers have become like family. I would highly recommend Guardian Angels to anyone looking for care.

Not consistent with supply of carers, no communication from the office of carers running late or a change of staff. A mixture of skills and attitudes, some exceed the expectations others sadly don’t meet expectations. Office attitude is sometimes not professional leaving a take it or leave it attitude.

We can't thank Guardian Angels enough for their flexibility, commitment and absolute professionalism. The team are so warm and welcoming and immediately puts our minds at rest at such an incredibly difficult and sad time. Guardian Angels were brought on board for what turned out to be the final week of mother's life. We didn't expect her to decline so rapidly and all the care plans originally set up for her had to change on Guardian Angel's first day with immediate effect. None of this was a problem. The staff who cared for my mother in that short time were all brilliant and I know my mother was grateful for their care. It's the little details that mean so much - the call from the director to see if I needed anything doing that first day, the quick and helpful adjustments to make sure my mother was comfortable as the week went on and the team's friendly and reassuring personalities. Words simply aren't enough.

Both in terms of care and companionship, I have nothing but praise. My carers have been thoughtful and conscientious.

Guardian Angel Carers provided excellent care for both my mother and father at a very difficult time. They helped with every aspect of the decline of both parents and were always so helpful and respectful. They even provided some equipment we didn't have that later became invaluable! So grateful to them! Thank you all!

The live-in care team have become part of the family. With the country in Covid-19 lockdown, the care team ensured my parents-in-law were kept safe. Sadly, my father-in-law was very frail and passed away in January. The care team were able to support my mother-in-law who suffers from dementia and keep her in the familiar surroundings of her home.
