My dad was given exceptional care by a team of kind, generous and gentle men. Instrumental in getting him back on his feet after an operation and some medical setbacks.

They attended to his intimate needs with dignity and care and helped him with his medication and with his food preparation, encouraging him to be more independent as the weeks went by. Dad also enjoyed hearing about his carers and their home countries and traditions making the early recovery days more enjoyable, they kept him company! Thank you so much to everyone who helped him.

I am satisfied with the care received by my mother who is also pleased that she has Gujarati-speaking ladies attending to her. Most of the carers have been very good and understand their duties. A couple however, needed reminding that they were there to care and should not be rude.

Oaktree however, have on numerous occasions, changed the times of visits without any notification and that is very inconvenient, especially when the carers appear well before the agreed times. Also Oaktree should allow carers the correct amount of travel time as carers are always in a rush to move on to the next client.

On the whole fairly reasonable. I have had several carers over the years, ranging from inept to excellent. Two in particular stand out but both, alas, have now left Oaktree.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of care provided by Oaktree Care Services. Despite assurances of professionalism and care, my experience with them has been anything but. My mother was neglected, with basic care plans not being followed, including medication checks and proper feeding. Additionally, her hygiene was left in a poor state. Despite repeated requests for improvement, the situation did not change. I even managed to increase the care duration per their advice, hoping for better attention, only to find caregivers preoccupied with their phones. Avoid Oaktree Care at all costs if you value proper care and support for your loved ones.

I am surprised and disappointed to read such a review. We started providing care for your mum on 14/08/2023. We have provided the same 2 French speaking carers for over 6 months. Your mum receives 1 visit a day Monday to Friday for 30mins to feed her and prompt her to brush her teeth. The POC was...

Dad has had carers since the beginning of the year.
The service is second to none and my dad is happy and well cared for.
He has built up a wonderful relationship with the career and trusts him totally
as we do.

Would recommend them for the care and wellbeing.

On the first day that I was ill this week, one lady looked after me like a professional nurse; she knew exactly how to move me on the bed and care for me with confidence and reassurance. She understands the needs of a person in my weak position, and unlike some carers, understands what I ask her to do and also uses her initiative. From the very beginning of her care for me, she has been respectful and conscious of my dignity, despite what was needed.

I have had the same carer for quite a while. She has been marvellous - no job is too much for her. My carer is kind, generous and hard-working. My carer also has sympathy and understanding of my needs.

I have not been with the agency long. So far, I am happy with the care and service I am receiving from Oaktree Homecare Services. The carers are good and treat me with respect. They are late sometimes, but so far, so good.

Overall Experience

The carers are always punctual. They take time to greet everyone in the household. They inquire about my husband and are very attentive. I know that I can sleep soundly in the knowledge that my husband is being well taken care of. I don't have any criticism of the carers; I found them all to be caring, kind and professional. Well done!

Overall Experience

Thank you for all your help. It was very much appreciated all the help you gave me. I am recovering well now and able to talk and go to work. The carer was excellent and helped me a lot.
