We are so happy with the care that Sirius provides for my mum. It is lovely to see the positive interactions that the team have with her and that has made a huge difference to both my mum and family. The service provided is of a high standard and delivered in a dignified and respectful manner. We would definitely recommend Sirius to others, especially after having negative experiences with other care providers in the past. Thank you.

Overall Experience
As a family, we would not hesitate to recommend Sirius Homecare to anyone looking for carers in their home. We have used them for approximately three years. Recently they quickly and efficiently arranged extra suitable available time slots for both my mum and dad enabling us to bring Mum out of respite much quicker than we had anticipated or expected.
Everyone in the company is incredibly helpful and caring, and recently for us, have made what was becoming a very difficult situation so much easier to handle.

My thanks to the Sirius Team for their help, with support for my father for over two years. He has nothing but praise for the friendly, caring, punctual and professional service he gets from his carers, regular or occasional. He enjoys contact with and trusts all his carers, considering them his friends.
The Admin is efficient. Sirius is approachable, readily contacted, and proactive in highlighting any concerns or issues. They regularly seek feedback on performance and any opportunities to tailor and improve the scope or standard of care given.
I would highly recommend Sirius to others in a similar situation to my father. Without the supplement of their reliable, flexible, effective, and caring support, Dad may not have been able to continue living independently and have the quality of life he currently enjoys.

Thank you all at Sirius; knowing he is in such safe hands is a weight off the minds of his family too.

Overall Experience

Sirius has been looking after my mum for over 12 months now. The quality of care throughout this time has been first-class. Living so far away (nearly 300 miles away), it is comforting to know that I can rely on the carers to look after my mum and help her maintain her key objective, which is to live in her own home. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommended.

Overall Experience
Knowing that a friendly face will be checking up on Mum daily is a load off my mind, especially when we're away. It's reassuring to Mum too, to see that friendly face and also in that she doesn't need to struggle with something herself as there will be someone calling in to do it for her.
All staff are professional, caring, respectful and helpful. The admin staff are lovely too, and are easy to contact, responding quickly to any queries or worries we may have.
I know that going forward, when Mum needs more care, they will be there for us.

My only niggle might be that some carers are naturally better at chatting than others (mostly they're great!). Maybe there would be a way of encouraging the quieter ones to chat about normal daily stuff. It's that happy chatter that lifts a client's spirits every bit as much as the physical jobs.

Overall, my mum is happy with the service provided by your carers.

Only one issue... she prefers her dinner time to be after 4 pm in the afternoon to suit her medication routine. It is too early, and not enough space between the consumption of her meds and the consumption of food. Please allow for this moving forward.

Overall Experience

Mum had a long spell in hospital and got sent to a rehab home and wanted her home. Sirius helped facilitate the care for her to come home and live with us. It has been really simple dealing with and setting everything up for her, and everyone who we have dealt with has been professional, caring and friendly. Mum looks forward to them coming in the morning, and they have a little chat. My daughters talk their ears off before school, and we have really formed a strong bond with the regulars. Would highly recommend them.

Overall Experience

All the dealings I have had with Sirius have been very good. The carers I have seen have all been lovely, and my friend seems very pleased with the service. The only thing I think would make it a little better is a change in the cancellation time; I think seven days' notice is a bit too long as you can’t arrange anything in the spare of the moment. I understand that you must give notice, but think, maybe 48 hours would be better.

Overall Experience
Sirius Homecare looks after my mum daily and has done for just over a year. The care staff are friendly, and the office staff are too. The carers report any changes with Mum to me as soon as they are noted.

Nothing is too much trouble for the carers, from making a meal to assisting with showering. We are happier knowing that someone is there even when we can't be.

Overall Experience

I have been delighted with the level of care my father has received. All the carers show a high degree of professionalism and treat him with care and kindness. Sirius regularly asks if there is anything they can do in addition to what is on his care plan, and it is reassuring to have that regular contact. I would recommend them unreservedly.

The care and consideration shown to my mum are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble, and they are most accommodating. My mum looks forward to her visits, and I can relax knowing she is in a safe pair of hands. Sometimes she just wants some company, and other times, they go out for a coffee.

Sirius started caring for my elderly grandad last year, and having used a care company previously that we thought was ok, as soon as we started with Sirius, we realised they were exceptional. All carers show an excellent level of care. The office is always helpful and respectful. Their levels of communication are always very good.

Sirius is a very professional care company which has looked after my mother (94) for over three years. They never let her down and always provided appropriate help and companionship to enable her to maintain independent living in her own home. We are extremely grateful for the care provided.

It was such a relief to have Sirius Homecare help my mother. The initial consultation was thorough and handled with compassion and understanding. The carer who came into our home was delightful, sensitive to my mother's needs, and cheerful, and she put us all at ease immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend Sirius Homecare.

I cannot rate the entire service received from Sirius highly enough. The staff really do care and provide a fantastic, holistic, client-centred service. My mother, the service user, and our family could not be any more pleased. Accepting care was a new and difficult decision for my mum, and the staff, particularly the most regular carers, have helped this transition along. All staff are very skilled, and their commitment shines through. Thank you so very, very much to the Sirius team involved in my mum's care.

Sirius has provided me with sensitive, personal care for nearly two years. Recently, l have been ill and have needed additional help. Sirius staff have gone out of their way to help me.

My family have been happy to know that I am in safe hands. Social contact, conversation about current affairs helps me to keep in contact with the outside world. Sirius is much appreciated by my family and me.

Emily Rouse

Emily has overall legal responsibility for the safe delivery of our care services, scheduling assessments and regular reviews with all our clients. She is responsible for our staff training and development, ensuring they have both the knowledge and confidence to support our clients.

She also manages our team of Field Care Supervisors, who quality check our work out in the community by completing spot checks and support visits with our staff, as well as regular reviews with our clients to ensure they are still happy with our service, and ensuring we are still meeting their needs.
