Very pleased with the care provided. When I visit my mother during the morning her lunch is already prepared and ready for her each day. She has never said anything negative about any of her carers and generally seems very happy with them.

My review actually relates to the service and care provided by Luv To Care since January. I have no need to identify a particular month or incident, their care for my aunt has been consistently excellent. Staff are patient, kind and conscientious. In addition to those virtues, the manager(s)/directors
of the company are outstanding. Always cooperative, understanding and professional; always responsive to questions or requests; but also always willing to go the extra mile to make the care they provide as good as possible. The communication flow is excellent and I am kept up-to-date and very well informed. I live 250 miles away from my aunt and, as her LPA, I cannot begin to imagine coordinating and managing her care at long distance without the quality of service she and I get from Luv To Care.

My mother finds the staff very friendly and efficient and that they undertake the tasks required. I find the team very approachable and adaptable to Mother's needs and would and have recommended them to others.

So very pleased to be able to call on the fantastic services of ‘Luv 2 Care’. Nothing is too much trouble, carers sent to my elderly father are very ‘people friendly’ and help him immensely. I’d be lost without them as I don’t live near to my father.

My husband is cared for with respect and dignity in a friendly manner. The same can be said with the relationship with myself. The only difficulty would be with punctuality but this is due to local traffic conditions and last-minute changes with the rotas, which would be out of the hands of the carers
themselves.

Love all my carers very attentive and helpful. Especially one, such a lovely lady. They are there for any of my needs and nothing is too much for them. They are always on time, had an occasional lateness.

Both my carers are wonderful. I look forward to their visits. I can talk to them and have a laugh and they never call me 'Sweetie' or 'all right darling' they talk to me as a real person and I'm grateful for that. They listen and really get to know me. It's a shame I can't use names because they both
deserve to be named. Thank you to everyone.

I think my carers are very caring and thoughtful. They are also very kind and considerate. I could not be more happy with them. I like them all equally. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I don’t know how I would cope without them.

All the carers who have come, have been pleasant, polite and helpful. Most have done their job very well and are in good spirits. One person, although pleasant, polite and very tidy, neglected to wash all the 'important bits', and hair washing was rather rushed and inadequate. Punctuality was generally
good, although turning up well in advance of the programmed time to put to bed was rather difficult and annoying. I did find on the days that I should have had an hour for getting out of bed, a shower and dressing have sometimes been as short as 35 minutes.
All the girls asked if there was anything else they could do.
As this is our first experience with any type of carer, it is very difficult to make any judgement.
On the whole, however, we are pleased with the service provided.

The carers are always more or less on time, they are helpful and friendly in the bathroom when I have my daily shower, they respect my privacy and yet are on hand for any help needed for dressing etc. They fit in and make themselves useful in the kitchen to provide meals for us, they make sure we have
taken our medication and finish with a pleasant goodbye and always ask if there is anything else they can help us with.

We have continued to receive a consistent and reliable level of care for my mum, despite the challenges of her health issues.
I feel that Luv To Care have made more effort with advising of any amendments to her rota and it is appreciated.

My father has been in the care of Luv To Care for over five months now. Throughout this transition, Luv To Care has been very supportive, caring and efficient in the care of my father. They have treated my father with respect, dignity and compassion at all times. They are very easy to deal with and
open to ideas/changes with the care of my father often offering up suggestions. I am happy and confident in the care being provided to my father by Luv To Care and know their priority is my father at all times. Thank you.

I think this service has saved my mum's life. She was so down and depressed before we found Luv to Care. They are always lovely to mum when they visit and we feel listened to when we have encountered any problems. My mum has dementia and she and my dad were struggling before we employed the ladies at
Luv to Care. It has enriched both their lives and enabled my dad to regain some level of a proper relationship with her rather than her carer just. It is lovely to see them happier and more settled. The ladies at Luv to Care are marvellous and caring. There are a couple that my mum didn't take a shine to but I asked for her to not have them come and they listened and she has not had those ladies again. I want to make it clear that this was just a clash of personalities not that they were doing anything wrong. My mum was a very strong woman and that character still shines through sometimes. Our overall experience with Luv to Care is excellent. It is a well-managed and caring company.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.869 for Luv To Care Southampton is calculated as follows: ( (133 Excellents x 5) + (20 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 153 Ratings = 4.869

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
