We are really happy with the standard of care my mum is receiving. My mum loves all of the carers, especially the Night Nurse. Sometimes the timing is off and she often eats her lunch at 2pm which isn’t ideal but I understand at times cannot be helped.

A young company established and managed by experienced practising carers who want to offer a better standard of care. What singles out this company?
a) Mutual respect that exists between carers and management.
b) Management is very approachable and regularly led client satisfaction.
c) Company still
small enough to give a very personal service.
This company deserves to be awarded.

We are extremely pleased with the service received. My mother has bonded well with the carers and is happy and contented. The carers are respectful of our home and property. In addition I have commend the company as they were able provide ad-hoc when I was unable due to illness.

Very happy with this service. My Father really did not want carers to visit even though he needs support due to no family living close by. After one week he increased service to include weekends and seems settled into a routine. Peace of mind for his family. Thank you to a wonderful, friendly, and
supportive team.

We have only had Luv to Care for a few weeks but the service provided by the Management and the carers has been excellent. The carers are always punctual and are very kind, considerate and patient and nothing is too much trouble. We would have no hesitation in recommending Luv to Care to future clients.

We were actively seeking carers for my Dad and after interviewing a number of organisations we chose Luv to Care. Unfortunately 3 days before their first scheduled care visit my Dad fell and was admitted to hospital.
At over 96 years old Dad deteriorated significantly following his fall and we were
quite concerned whether he could be well cared for if he returned to his own home as he had wanted. During the 3 months that Dad was in hospital Luv to Care were totally supportive and very responsive to our volatile circumstances as we worked out if and when he could return to his bungalow.
When Dad finally returned home Luv to Care proved as reliable and professional as we had hoped. A kind and caring team led by experienced professionals and reliable management.
Our sincere thanks to all in the team.
Reply from Justyna Lyczak, Director at Luv To Care SouthamptonWe would love to thank you for your kind words and it was such a pleasure to look after and support such as kind and funny person. All team is missing going to dad. All the best.

Being locked down because of Covid I, together with a neighbour, managed my 96 year old mum's care. As things returned to a new normal and I get back to work, which involves a lot of travel, I was in a real quandary as to how this was going to work going forward. With the benefit of hindsight, why should
I have ever worried? Luv to Care has done more than I could have ever asked. The carers are simply amazing. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble and they manage my mum, not always the easiest of persons, with empathy and a smile. It's a pleasure to review them.

Luv To Care took on the package of care for my mother at very short notice at a time she really needed it. All the staff have shown excellent empathy and kindness to my mum. As a patient receiving end-of-life care, the staff have gone above and beyond to provide my mum with the best care possible for
the last of her days. I would highly recommend this company as I feel safe in the knowledge that my mum is in the best hands for ensuring both her safety, dignity and care.

Luv to Care are providing a good reliable service of support to my father. My father is happy with the help he is receiving. The carers prepare his lunch every day, make his bed, empty the commodes, clear up and do his evening meal twice a week and change his sheets once a week. They ask him what he
wants to eat and are responsive to his needs.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.869 for Luv To Care Southampton is calculated as follows: ( (133 Excellents x 5) + (20 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 153 Ratings = 4.869
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Luv To Care Southampton is based on 26 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
