This care company came every day to care for my father for over the past 2 to 3 years. Over the last year there were 2 carers 4 times a day as dad was bedbound. They were kind and considerate and built up a strong relationship with my father as with the family. If I had any concerns they would listen and take them into consideration when caring for dad. Dad was totally reliant on them for his personal care and they were very sensitiveto his needs. What I was encouraged about is the company wherever possible tried to be consistent by sending the same carers on each visit. I would definitely highly recommend JCMicheal to anyone who needed a care company. Thank you.

We have been using J C Michael for 2 years, the service is excellent, the main thing for us is the continuity which has been superb. The senior carer Vivian is wonderful, caring and attentive showing great ability and empathy. She is very ably supported by Abina who has very similar attributes and cover is provide by Rhona or Grace when Vivian and Abina take their holiday / rest breaks. The team of carers from JC Michael Group (Sandport Street, Edinburgh), attended four times a day over an 6 year period, to care for Mum.

I was extremely grateful for what they did for her and the dignity, respect compassion and overall kindness shown by the carers were well appreciated. If something was required it was brought to my attention promptly.

I will always remember the sound of laughter coming from the room when the carers were present on the good days, as my Mum enjoyed their company while they were in.

If and when any issues arose, the management at JC Michaels were easy to deal with and swift to respond to my concerns and get to a solution quickly.

This wonderful care providing company have made my mum's life so much better since her fall last year in November - mum can't speak highly enough of the carers - they come every day to check in on her and really help brighten up her day - the company is very efficiently run and the service provided reasonably priced - Thank you JC Michaels Group and all the lovely carers for the support you provide - you truly have helped give mum back her zest for life.

We had no issue with any of the carers or office staff. They genuinely care for their clients.

J.C. Michael Groups provided home care support for my Mum from January 2025 till Mum's death in November. The care provided was first-class and very professional. Mum was treated at all times with kindness and respect.

Staff attended three times a day over an 18 month period. Always polite , well turned out and caring. Attentive to needs and if something was required it was brought to my attention promptly. The only issue I had was a couple of hot drinks consumed by a member of staff caused damage to an expensive table.

We were very pleased with the domiciliary home care provided by J.C. Michael Groups. Everyone was very professional, timely and empathetic. We will definitely use them again. It takes time to adjust to new voices with hearing impairments, and the staff were very patient.

As for the office team, they have always been very responsive and flexible when we have needed to change the timings of mum's care visits to accommodate her changing needs.

Our family is indebted to our mother's team of carers from J C Michaels, for their exemplary care over the past two years. Mum looked forward to their visits and, as a family, we could relax knowing her care was in safe hands. Management at J C Michaels were swift to respond to any concerns and include us all as family in decision making processes. Heartfelt thanks to all.

I was very impressed with all the carers who supported my Auntie, they all treated her with much care and dignity including office staff, I would fully recommend JC Michael Care to anyone who is thinking of having carers for their loved ones as my Auntie was very happy with their care.

That being said, we have had some issues with the previous branch manager - who wasted a lot of time when the council overcharged us for the care. She was uncommunicative and didn't follow up as promised. I rang their "HQ" in Canary Wharf and was told to hurry up by one of the managers there. I subsequently had stern words with that individual, their upper management clearly isn't used to patients or patient's representative actively advocating for them. This experience definitely soured the relationship between us and J C Michael Groups for some time, but the care provided by my fathers primary carer and the overall support provided by the managers has gone some distance in repairing that.

Also, I had extensive experience interacting with all of the different staff for over 18 months. If there was an emergency, or technical issue or if food was required to be delivered, JCM were always quick and responsive on phone calls and emails with me. Also we had meetings with management and they and office staff were so welcoming and capable in dealing with certain challenges we faced. The carers and emergency call service team are just diamonds who must be recognised for their vital hard work and kindness. Thank you JCM.

A very caring staff and very good administration team who provided for my mothers needs with genuine warmth and professionalism at all times. An excellent follow up service by the administrative staff who monitored the care given by an always pleasant, considerate and communicative group of carers who showed real compassion.

The team at headquarters were attentive and helpful and always on hand to deal with any situations that arose. I would definitely recommend JCM.

All in all it was as good as the experience could be.

The J C Michael carers could not have done more for my late mum. Something I am grateful for and will never forget. They were exceptional in every way, keeping her clean, fed and hydrated. I have no hesitation in recommending their brilliant carers.
