The care my wife is and has received is nothing short of 5 star, with one carer in particular (Margaret). Definitely a 6 star.

Overall Experience

The regular carer looks after Anne very well. He understands her needs as her dementia is getting worse. He knows to treat her, heating, TV etc on, as she is always turning appliances off at the plug switch!

Overall Experience
On a weekly basis the rota does come out to us on a Thursday, this works quite well. As you appreciate, we do need to who is turning up at our door.

The main carer's are kind, well mannered and treat me with dignity and respect. They do arrive in good time and are very helpful with the required tasks. One carer in particular, Aaron, goes above and beyond his general duties and I do look forward to his visits.

Not all carers are pleasant and know what they are supposed to be doing. Some do not introduce themselves and wear the badges so you know who they are.

When I have my main carer my experience is excellent, otherwise it's very hit and miss and I feel quite stressed as no one lets you know whats happening.

Overall Experience

The care staff are excellent, friendly, professional + attentive. The coordinator manager is an excellent communicator and dealt with issues successfully. We have had issues with scheduling but seems resolved now.

Overall Experience

We have used Lotus Home Care for just over a year and have been very pleased with the care given. My dad has a regular carer, this has allowed my dad to build up a lovely relationship with him and his carer has to know dad really well. When dads care package needed amending due to his health deteriorating, Lotus talked me through what needed to be done re, social workers etc. The new care package was set up and ready to go within 3/4 hours.

Overall Experience
In our opinion you have an excellent care worker.
She is head and shoulders above the bust of the rest. She instantly knows and she's what is required and gets on completing the tasks. The majority of the rest seem happy to do the minimum and spend their time viewing their phones.

For example one carer was quite happy to study bananas. We therefore consider month considerable increase pay and not just a bonus.

Overall Experience
The times of visits should be breakfast 8-9, lunch 12-1 and tea 5-6.
The duration of the visits should be the same for both of us.

The council are in the progress of drawing up a 'care plan' of which we have never had a copy but hope to receive this very soon.

The carers that Lotus have provided for me have always been punctual professional and friendly.

In previous months they have been quick to notice that I needed an ambulance which ultimately saved my life.

Overall Experience

It is difficult for my wife and I to build up a rapport with the carers as we do not see the same ones regularly enough. We use the app to make plans for the week ahead with the carers. My wife has had some family issues and has spoken to the designated carer only to find it has been another carer who has attended and has not been aware of the change of needs if my wife is not present.

My excellent experience:

For almost three years, I have been one of my carers clients. She is an outstanding carer and I really appreciate her support. She has many great qualities. Foremost amongst these are her patient, altruistic and compassionate nature. Her conscientious attention to detail while supporting me always makes me feel respected and valued. She is particularly adept at supporting me to attend and access activities in my local community. For example, she supports me to engage in gardening activities with a local gardening group. She also provides me with excellent sighted guidance on walks as I am visually impaired. In my opinion, she is the best carer in the company and it is a privilege to be cared for by her.
