My mother needed a new care agency and I knew that Home Instead had a good reputation. We have been so relieved and pleased with the complete insight into the many complexities that present a 91 year old. Home Instead have really made an excellent start and worked hard to create total confidence in their ability to provide first class care. The whole family is very impressed and completely confident in the professional care that is provided by Home Instead as an organisation. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Home Instead Senior Care (Southport) provided companionship and help to my mother over a period of ten years. The carers were always kind and helpful, unjudgemental. The service was concluded only when my mother became too frail to depend on twice daily visits. She is now in a care home.

From the outset (October 2016), I have been extremely satisfied with the service I have received from Home Instead Senior Care. Every carer I have had (regular carers and carers kind enough to stand in for them when they are off) has been very efficient, kind, courteous and looked after me very well and had my personal needs in mind at all times.

I have been very pleased with the service provided by Home Instead Senior Care. The quality of care is of a very high standard. Carers are friendly, reliable and enthusiastic in providing all manner of support. The administration and monitoring of the service is particularly good.

Home Instead Senior Care (Southport) and the staff have been kind and compassionate towards my father and they always had his best interests at heart. They enabled him to remain at home while receiving a high standard of care. Thank you on behalf of my dad who unfortunately needs residential care.

I was very impressed by the professionalism of due company and all the employees that I met. Mum had the best care I could have asked for. Carers took the time to get to know Mum and she enjoyed their visits. They would contact me if they had any concerns. They would always ensure mum's flat was clean and tidy before leaving, delivered a high level of care.

From the beginning Home Instead has provided pleasant and competent carers who have had the initiative not only to make meals , but to keep the kitchen clean and tidy, to make beds, put clothes back in wardrobes (having often labelled the locations), and taken initiatives to tidy and reorganise otherwise quite chaotic general cupboards and drawers. We have had over a few years a cleaner to help to clean the house and to do the laundry. Our new carers quickly achieved a good, friendly relationship. Greatly to the benefit of our overall comfort.

We have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone, of whatever age and any sex.

I was able to observe how supportive one of your carers was to the husband of a service user. The husband became quite agitated when a health professional arrived to assess current moving and handling practices. The carer demonstrated a very reassuring manner and was able to calm the husband down.

Mum's lovely carer has been with her for a couple of years and is totally amazing. When Mum was still at home, the carer came in twice a week and helped her to manage her money, organise her food/shopping requirements, take her shopping, have coffee with her, make lovely lunches, change bedding, washing and so much more. Not only that, the carer actively looked for things to do in order to make Mum's life better and often came up with suggestions/ideas. This was great as my brother and I live several hours away, so the carer was our eyes and ears.

The carer was also an invaluable help when Mum needed to be accompanied to medical appointments and always provided us with feedback. When Mum moved into a care home earlier this year, the carer really wanted to continue helping mum. This continuity of care really helped Mum to settle into the care home in the first few weeks, also enabling her to get out and about to the places she enjoys going. Th carer is a complete angel and we are so grateful for her kindness and care.

Home Instead have been involved in my mother's care for the past four to five years and I cannot recommend them highly enough! The caregivers - a team of 5 in my mother's case - have been absolutely marvellous, easily adapting to my mother's worsening Alzheimer's and genuinely caring for her and doing everything that they can to ensure her wellbeing.

My mother got on well with all the carers - including some younger women in the earlier years - which is a real testament to them as my mother can be quite awkward at times! She also adapted quite well to more personal, intimate care which again says something about the level of trust that has built up over the years. My family and I have been so impressed with the level of care provided: the updates from the office; the alerts if anything has been found to be amiss; the genuine level of understanding of my mother's situation and the relationships that have developed between us and the carers as we have got to know them over the years.

The lady who cares for them is superb!
