1 to 1 Care is an independent care provider that was established in 2004 to provide the highest level of support and personal care to vulnerable adults in their own homes. 1 to 1 Care is a full member of the UKHCA (The United Kingdom Home Care Association) and offers care services to those in the Oxfordshire area.

The company is also an approved provider of homecare to Oxfordshire County Council and the Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust and they work closely with Sir Michael Sobell House Hospice. 1 to 1 care also has a growing number of private clients.

All staff are full employees; they are carefully selected, trained & monitored for their empathy & ability to provide excellent personal care.

A high level of training, coupled with regular staff supervisions and unannounced spot checks ensure that standards of care provision are meticulously high.

Directions: 1 to 1 Care are based a couple of miles south of Oxford just off the A4074. At the intersection of the A4074 and the B4015 (Golden Balls Roundabout) take the B4015 towards Clifton Hampden (Oxford Road). The Notcutts Garden Centre is within 400yds of the roundabout on the right. Drive into the Notcutts Garden Centre and you will see a white clad house on the left with a small car park. 1 to 1 Care are downstairs in the white clad house.

Parking: A car park is available outside the offices. Please just block other cars in if there are no spaces as the drivers will be in the office. Alternatively, the main Notcutts car park can be used and follow the road back to the office.

Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 24 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 48 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with 'Extremely Likely' or 'Likely' in answer to the question 'How likely are you to recommend this care provider to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?'

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3.00 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3.00, 2nd = 0.50, 3rd = 0.50, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.10, 7th = 0.10, 8th = 0.10, 9th = 0.10, 10th = 0.10) ie an Home Care Agency needs 10 Reviews to receive the maximum score of 5 points.

    If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 24 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 48 months. The calculation is the same as above, except the points are divided by 2.

The service provided to my 92-year-old mother was professional, caring and very efficient. All requests were dealt with quickly and there was always a contact available when required. The carers were friendly and my mother looked upon them as friends. If there was a need to obtain essential food items the cares would attend to this which was a great help as I and my sister live some distance away from mother's house. We were extremely pleased and satisfied with the overall service provided.

Thank you, Graham - very much appreciated.

From my initial phone call to the agency to gather information to the present day, I have and my mother the highest quality of help and advice from the agency management, clerical staff and most of all the carers. They have been able to meet all of my mothers needs and act quickly when her care needs change suddenly.
All carers are respectful of my mother, my family and my home. They keep good time and let me know if they are help up. They are cheerful, patient and very gentle in the care of my mother.

Very helpful, kind, considerate and cheerful. They also make sure husband is ok. Always on the end of a phone if a problem arise. Very adaptable around hospital visits and care home.
