Considering the difficulties caused by Coronavirus and travel restrictions, I have been extremely impressed by the ability of Christies Care to send me well qualified and delightfully pleasant people to us as carers. Your training programme is obviously excellent, much better than can be found usually
elsewhere Dealing with dementia is always difficult, and your carers have been unfailingly kind, competent and most fitting in well with our household, which can be a difficult art. Your arrangements for time-off work well, and your carers help efficiently and well with many of the problems of wider care within the household, e.g. cooking, clothes washing, etc.
While the quality of the carers that we have been sent so far has been very high, getting to know somebody new, and for them to get to know us, is inevitably difficult at the start, with learning problems on both sides. So we do look forward to having a more regular line-up of carers whom we have already come to know.

My husband has progressive MS, and Christies Care has been providing us with excellent live-in respite care for the last 4 years. The carers are very well trained, and everyone who has looked after him has been kind and compassionate. I have no hesitation in recommending Christies Care to anyone who
needs live-in care, whether for respite or continuous.

Christies Care made me feel comfortable from the beginning. They keep in regular touch and I am able to telephone them at any time.
The carer they sent to us in September was a lovely personality, caring, methodical and a good cook. We were very glad to have her back.
Christies is embarking on
an upgrade to their communication system, which is already very good.
We have met two of their local support representatives, both competent with experience in the field.
We have already had the experience of two other agencies, neither of which fulfilled our needs. We are glad we changed to Christies Care.

Had the most amazing carer allocated to my Mum. Honestly could not speak highly enough of her. She had great compassion and was lovely with Mum and the whole family. Sadly she was only there for two weeks as Mum passed away which was unexpected. The company I have found to be very professional and informative.
I would highly recommend Christie’s Care to anyone and so grateful that we got Mum home from the hospital so she could be with us all.

The carers are fantastic - they have improved my dad's health and helped him get better in so many ways- we can't thank them enough.
We couldn't imagine life without Christies now and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Everyone cares so much about the job they do-making sure clients are well looked

Our mother received excellent care from her lovely Christie’s carer. She was very attentive to Mum’s complex needs whilst being able to maintain a calm, supportive attitude. She has a good sense of humour and was able to chat to Mum and keep her company. She is organised, professional, well trained,
experienced and confident. She was able to manage tasks around medical care such as contacting the GP, District Nurse and Pharmacy on Mum's behalf. Her carer kept the house clean and tidy. She also kept me informed of any significant events. I consider her a safe pair of hands. We are very grateful to her and to Christie’s for providing Mum with such a good, caring and personalised service.

For the 1st time in several years, I can relax and know that my neighbour is getting the best possible care. Christie's Care carers are efficient and kind and endlessly patient. Dementia patients are not always easy to deal with but these carers do a wonderful job.

Over these last 18 days my friend has been looked after by a carer who sadly had to leave today to start another contract. This person's professionalism has been outstanding in all aspects of her caring and the changes to my friend is clearly seen. Thank you so much for what you have all done so far
in giving my friend the chance to stay at home at this present time in her life. I will and without hesitation recommend Christies to future people I come across with regards to home care.

Myself and my mother were very impressed with the initial meeting and thorough discussions around the care required for my father who had recently been discharged from hospital and was receiving 24/7 care, albeit with a different agency who were unable to supply dedicated one to one care. My father
suffers from dementia, so required specialist carers, this agency had been highly recommended to us by a number of friends. We felt confident that our care requirements would be fully met and if any issues arose they would be dealt with promptly. Upon meeting Dad's carer, I felt that her calm demeanour would be welcomed by both my parents and she would be a great help to my mother who had been struggling to look after my father. Within a short time our carer has been able to get Dad into a regular routine and my mother is now accepting all the help and is now able to relax a bit more. We are impressed with the regular contact with the back-office staff who are always polite and helpful.

The carer was very kind and attentive to my mother. She was very professional and respectful of my mother's needs. She checked the details of my mother's care plan very carefully and paid close attention to every detail. She also checked with me about anything she was unclear about. She prepared and
presented all her meals very nicely.
We could not have wished for a better carer and would definitely use her again.

We switched to Christies from another agency. Christies have been fantastic, they stay in touch, they update, advise and have proper regulated procedures in place. They have done their best to always try to find us good carers and my aunt really loves her two carers currently looking after her, they
are caring, helpful and truly care about giving proper care. As I live 400 miles away, it gives me peace of mind. The previous agency were really not up to their standards. I really like the fact that Christies call me to check how they are doing and stay in touch with their carers too, very professional, any issues are discussed and quickly resolved. Excellent work.

Christies Care really understood the whole family’s concerns over getting the best care possible for my grandmother. They provided us with highly trained carers who helped her spend her last few months in comfort and with dignity.
Everyone from the staff on the end of the phone to the carers themselves
was professional, polite and sensitive both to my grandmother and to the wider family. They made a difficult time easier.
We highly recommend using their services.

I required care during the Coronavirus Pandemic for my elderly father as I work full time in Healthcare. Setting the care up was easy and swift even with the restrictions. There is regular review of the care needs and provision and most of all my father, though initially very sceptical, is enjoying

My father commented that he would have liked some initial discussion with the carer about domestic arrangements, such as eating habits. My parents are very traditional in their food preferences; generally meat and two vegetable style of food. Nevertheless, they are very happy with the care given.

Having never been in need of home 24-hour care, I was very concerned, but the staff at the office were very reassuring and kind. The two carers I had for my husband were wonderful form the very start. Friendly, competent, willing to follow my ways with my husband. They also cared for me and made sure
