I cannot speak highly enough of the care my husband received from all of the Premier carers. From our initial meeting to discuss what we needed, to every single one of the care staff - I cannot fault them. I have used other care providers in the past, but Premier stand head and shoulders above the rest with their professionalism and calibre of carers. I would not hesitate to recommend them and indeed have already done so!
Staffs are always polite, professional, caring, understanding and arrive on time. They are the best service provider that works very well for my needs. My sister visited me from overseas and commented on how well I’ve been doing since changing over to Premier Homecare. Also my five adult children are now doing amazingly well for themselves, knowing that my needs are taken care of. Thank you so much.
We have been service user for nearly four years and are very satisfied with the general support we have received. We especially appreciate the continuous help during Covid-19.
During the time that Premier Homecare were involved with my Brother-in-law, they provided a professional and caring service. They kept me informed and updated of any concerns or changes. The carers were always dressed well in their uniform and their contact with my Brother-in-law was always kind and polite.
I am pleased with the general care my mother receives. However, I would like to know how often checks are made on staff during their visits, also how much training is given to new staff and for how long. As some people's knowledge seems very poor. Most of the carers who visit my mother are very good.
Thank you for taking the time to feedback about the care we provide to your Mother. I am glad you are pleased, however, we do not feel we have provided the best service or done our job properly if someone is not completely happy. On-site checks by trained Supervisors are a regular and frequent part...
Many carers have time to chat, especially as one is alone. The carious lockdown means one needs someone to do the odd trip to the local shops. They leave one feeling clean and tidy - an enormous boost when feeling low.
My care started in July 2018 with three visits per week, down to two visits in December 2019 and now one visit from April 2020. The visit is for shopping. During this time, I have found the carers and admin staff very helpful and caring.
I find Premier Homecare very helpful for the things I am unable to do for myself because of medical conditions. During the periods of lockdown and having no living family, it has been nice to see a friendly face.
Premier Homecare provided carers for my brother for over four years. For most of that time, he had twenty four hour live-in care. All of the carers provided a high level of care to my brother as his condition slowly deteriorated. They not only cared for him, they also cared about him as evidenced by the fact that five of them came to his funeral. We also as a family had dealings from time to time with Premier Homecare management and found that we always received a prompt and helpful response. If there were minor problems or worries about a carer, they were dealt with speedily and sensitively. Overall, I am aware that Premier Homecare are by no means the cheapest care providers but it would seem to me that the high level of care that my brother received demonstrates that you do get what you pay for.
I am very happy with the care that these lovely ladies give to my Mum and Dad. If they notice something that might be a little worrying about my parents, they will call me immediately. Overall, very happy.
Our Dad has Alzheimer's and lives alone. Premier Homecare carers visit for an hour a day to provide companionship, reassurance and help with practical tasks if needed. They are reliable, friendly and flexible. Dad finds it stressful to have non-family members in the house but carers have been able to build a relationship with him. Family members see Dad during the day but the evening visits from Premier Homecare give us peace of mind as they check that he is okay and has everything that he needs. On occasions when we have had to contact the agency, such as changing hours due to appointments and discussing changes to the care plan, they have always been friendly and helpful.
We received support for one hour per morning for six weeks following my wife's total hip replacement. The carer helped to bathe my wife followed by whatever household chore that was most needed that day and then leaving us with freshly made coffee. Without exception, every carer was polite, cheerful, helpful and well qualified for the duties needed. Only on one occasion did the carer not arrive on time; due to difficulties locating the house with roadworks creating problems of access. We would certainly recommend Premier Homecare if home support is needed, and it is highly likely we will use the service again as we now enter our 'old age.'
Having worked with a number of agencies in Bristol we found Premier to be the best by a considerable margin. We have a detailed care plan which is followed meticulously. When small issues arise Premier responds professionally and rapidly. All of the carers who visit us are excellent: friendly, approachable and highly professional. As the service user, my father-in-law, lives with us in our house, it could feel obtrusive having carers calling on us regularly. However, the Premier team are respectful of the situation and operate as discretely as possible. We would not hesitate to recommend Premier to others and indeed have already done so on a number of occasions.
Premier Care has been responsive to ongoing changes and coping with our unusual circumstances. The carers who visit are pleasant. Management responds to concerns quickly. This has been very helpful in reducing the input required by me.
We have been very pleased with how Premier staff have provided care for our mother. Contact with Headquarters staff has always been prompt, courteous, caring and responsive. We were impressed by the tact and thoroughness of the initial meeting with Mum, resulting in a personalised and detailed care plan. Whenever we have contacted the team about developments in Mum's health or care, we have had a speedy and satisfactory response. The carers are kind, skilful and have won Mum's confidence. She was very reluctant to start having carers in her home but they have made her comfortable with this necessity. They spend time talking to Mum, listening to her stories and even painting her nails while still attending to her needs. We are very happy that she now has someone friendly and compassionate to help her twice a day. She is 90, has mild dementia, limited sight and mobility and would not be able to manage without her carers.
The team at Premier Homecare have been looking after my Mother-In-law for the last 5 years. Her needs have gradually increased during this time, generally due to frailty and age. Premier have been able to help and support us at all the stages. Sometimes this can be very challenging, particularly when the care we feel Mum needs is different to what Mum will accept. The team are very patient and calm, even when challenged with the restraints of time and co-operation. We are kept up to date as things change. Premier Home Care have been very helpful in liaising with other community support services on Mum's behalf to help support us much as Mum. Undoubtedly they have been a very big part in Mum staying in her own home.
Premier Homecare have provided excellent service and care to my uncle especially over the last 12 challenging months of Covid. They respond quickly and effectively to any issues that arise and keep me updated via email or telephone. The carers are friendly, professional and dependable.
Having needed care for my mother on two occasions fairly rapidly I can only give great praise to the team from the office staff, home assessment coordinator and the team of caregivers. Everyone has been understanding of the difficulties and have shown compassion and respect for us all. A difficult situation could have been so much worse without their care and support.
Can't fault the service provided. My wife has fairly advanced Alzheimer's and is wary of strangers and can be belligerent and un-cooperative. We have carers in to (hopefully) wash my wife and change her clothes. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes not, they are patient, kind and do their best. I wouldn't be without them, even if it's only for a chat while they hoover or iron or help in any way they can when my wife won't let them attend to her.
The carers are friendly, hard-working and conscientious. I feel confident that my mother is in good hands and that I will be informed of any concerns arising from the visits. The company is highly professional in the way it deals with clients and ensures good communication about all aspects of the service.
