Everyone is understanding pleasant and kind can't fault anything.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. I will pass on this feedback to the care professionals.
We recently hit a crisis point and placed Mum and Dad in a care facility for a respite period. They were both incredibly unhappy and wanted to return home but we knew we needed care in place for this to be a safe option.
Luckily we were recommended Home Instead. Every aspect of the process has been exceptional and a staff member has matched my parents with a wonderful team of care professionals. We are only a week in but it has already made a huge difference to all concerned and we are so grateful we found your company.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this lovely review. It's been a pleasure supporting Mum and Dad to return home and witnessing the confidence that grows in them each day and being a part of the journey to gaining their independence back. The Care Professionals have already built a great bond and really enjoy visiting your Parents.
I felt she needed some help with food and general cleaning and Home Instead was recommended to me.
In the last 3 years, they have been great.
Mum even says they are friends now and look forward to their visits.
I can highly recommend them.
They let us know who is coming each day and are on time.
Great service!
Many thanks for the positive feedback which we will pass on to our Care Professionals.
Home Instead have enabled us to keep our Dad in his home in his familiar environment. Without the service, my sister and I would have struggled to meet his daily needs as he slips evermore into the stranglehold that is Dementia. We rely on the carers to support Dad which enables us to know he's in safe hands while we enjoy time with our families. Caring for someone with this condition is a large commitment and responsibility. My sister and I work well together and hard to give our Dad a happy, safe and loving day-to-day life. The carers complement this ethos of care, they are all excellent caregivers and treat Dad with the utmost respect. He feels happy and safe with each one of the team. Big thanks Home Instead you have been there for us in our time of great need.
Thank you for the positive comments which will be very much appreciated by our wonderful Care Professionals. Thank you again.
Recently started to use the service. All staff we have been in contact with have been helpful and friendly. Our helper and her relief are both hardworking, cheerful and considerate.
Thank you for your review. It's been our pleasure to be able to support you, and I know your care professional really enjoys coming to visit you and the lovely chats you have.
We had a recommendation from a friend about Homeinstead and decided to give them a try.
The carers go into see Mum three times a day and they have been a God send. Their attention to the support and care they give my Mum is excellent.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. I can see the record of their visits and what they have done to Mum via their app.
They have also been able to take Mum to appointments such as the dentists and outpatients at the hospital.
We have an email group to allow the carers to raise issues with me and my wife and to contact them. This works faultlessly and has allowed us to arrange shopping deliveries when her supplies are getting low or issues that require my wife and I to raise with doctors/pharmacists and the like.
They don't come cheap, but are worth every pound of it !
Many thanks for your feedback which we will share with the Care Professional involved in supporting your mother. Thank you again for your comments.
Home Instead provided excellent service and communication. They provided daily morning care to my brother and were always punctual. All caregivers were very professional in every aspect of their care which was reassuring to us as a family.
Thank you for your comments and we will share your comments with the staff involved. Thank you again.
Back in May 2023, my mother had a serious fall and we needed some daytime assistance. Doing my research I found that Home Instead had good reviews. A meeting was arranged and we were impressed by the thorough and professional consultation that took place. The care we have had since the summer has been excellent. The carers have always been kind, considerate and professional, always happy to help in any way they can. This might be taking her shopping, or for a gentle stroll, or helping with laundry - all sorts of things. My mother has looked forward to their visits and regards them as friends. Communication is also very good with the office team ensuring everything is working well and monitoring the situation. My mother could not have continued to live at home without Home Instead. Sadly she has now to move into a care home due to health issues, but we are very grateful for the care she has had from Home Instead, and I can wholeheartedly recommend their service.
Thank you for the positive feedback which we will pass on to the staff involved. We wish your mother all the very best for the future.
We use your services twice each week so that my partner can continue using the gym. It had become difficult for him to use the changing room and, of course, I was not allowed in there. With support, he can change and shower and use the gym facilities which will hopefully keep him fit and active.
Thank you for your comments which we will pass to the staff involved in providing the support. Thank you.
Thank you everyone for not just making it feel like a 'job you do' but work that is worthwhile and makes a positive difference to me and my mum.
Thank you for your positive comments which we will pass on to all the staff involved in supporting your mother. It will be greatly appreciated by all the staff, thank you again.
Dad's end-of-life care was given with heartfelt love and dignity. Before that, he developed a close and friendly relationship with a carer who would keep him company once a week. Thank you for everything you did for my dad we would have all been lost without you all.
Thank you for your comments, we will pass them to the staff who visited your father.
The office and management support is excellent - great communication and someone is always available to speak to in case of an emergency. They will also accommodate changes to the rota with reasonable notice and do try and help if it’s last minute.
Thank you for the feedback and we will let the care staff know the support they provide is appreciated.
All carers were very friendly and helpful and put my mum at ease. She enjoyed their company.
Thank you for providing a 5-star review of our service. Our team will love your positive feedback. I will ensure they are all aware of your kind comments.
My Aunt has been receiving care from Home Instead for the past four years. The staff have been amazing always helpful and professional and we have been confident that we could depend on them. As my Aunt's needs became more complex we found that the carers were ready and able to adapt to her changing needs. I would recommend them to anyone needing care in their own home.
Thank you for sharing your your positive experience of our service. Our amazing team strive to exceed client/family expectations throughout their journey with us. I will ensure the wider team are aware of your 5-star feedback, they will be delighted.
I have been delighted with the care and support my mother and father have received from the HI team. Our family situation has evolved over a two-month period so needs have changed. The HI team have been flexible and understanding which has been hugely helpful. In addition, the need for care has never happened for the family before so it's been useful to draw on the experience within the team. Issues such as mental health, eating, drinking, taking medicine, mobility, sleep, cleaning, washing and other household essentials have all been discussed and steps are taken to identify solutions. The Care Professional in particular has been very helpful.
Thank you for sharing your 5 star experience of Home Instead, Rochdale. I am pleased that you & your family are delighted with the support and care we currently deliver. It's so important that we communicate effectively with families to ensure we understand and adopt our approach to meet the...
The team have worked with me to try and get some companionship in for my mum who has dementia and they have been amazing. It’s not an easy situation and the manager and her team have stuck with me and understand what is needed, which has been a massive support to ensure my mum and dad both get the best out of the service. Thank you all. You can’t imagine how special what you all do, is.
Thank you for your 5 star review of our service. We know accepting support can sometimes be challenging for clients and families. By adopting our approach and truly understanding individual needs, together with your input, we have made amazing progress. Such positive outcomes are what makes everything worthwhile. I will cascade your kind comments to the wider team.
Home Instead have been brilliant in helping us deal with a hugely stressful process. All the carers have been wonderful and prepared to go the extra mile to help in in times of crisis (of which there have been a few!) The admin has been equally seamless and stress free and they've all done such a lot to make our complicated situation completely manageable.
Thank you for providing this wonderful review of our service. I am pleased we have managed to facilitate a seamless, stress-free process for you and your family. Our dedicated Care Professionals routinely go the extra mile to deliver outstanding care to our clients. I will share your positive feedback in our staff newsletter.
She recognised the potential symptoms, arranged for an ambulance and waited until it (and I) arrived. As a result, my father made a full recovery and was allowed to return home the same day.
Personally, I wouldn't have recognised the symptoms, so her actions avoided my father having to have a longer hospital stay, or worse.
We are in awe of the care provided by all your team, but last Thursday she really did go that extra mile
We are all so pleased that your father made a full recovery and returned home from hospital on the same day. The swift actions taken by one of our amazing Care Professionals most certainly attributed to this and we are very proud of her. Please know that her great work has been acknowledged and...
All staff who I and Mum have met and spoken to on the phone, have been very helpful. Pleasant and caring, 100% commitment from all staff.
Thank you you have made Mum much happier and she feels more secure, so in turn, that makes things less stressful for me. As anyone who is an unpaid carer will know.
A follow up assessment was done last week which was really helpful.
Thank you for this glowing 5 star review of our service. I am pleased to know that you have found all our staff helpful and committed to providing an excellent service that has positively impacted both you and your Mum. Your lovely feedback will be shared with the wider team. Much appreciated.
I was very impressed by the way the Rochdale manager dealt with my aunt in the initial meeting. The manager put my aunt completely at ease and offered her important reassurance at what has to count as a difficult moment in her life. The manager left my aunt with "a good feeling" that has now been built on by the quality of the two carers who have attended her since that initial meeting. Having someone come into your home to take care of you because you've finally got to the stage of life when you need a bit of extra help is a big deal. The situation obviously requires handling with kindness and sensitivity, and this is precisely what the Home Instead carers have provided. In the space of only a few days, the daily visit from her carer is making a very positive difference to my aunt. She is receiving not just excellent practical help from her regular carer but genuine humanity and warmth.
Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review of our service. Such great outcomes for clients are truly heart-warming and make me feel immensely proud to be part of this amazing team. I am pleased that you and your aunt felt reassured during and following the care consultation and continue to be...

Meet the Team (6)
As the owner of Home Instead Rochdale, my focus is on the service first and the business second as I want to provide a quality service that I would be happy to use for myself and my family.
I have a daughter who used to live with me in Hebden Bridge but she has now flown the nest. When I am not dedicating my time to Home Instead, I enjoy hill walking- especially in the Lake District, spending time in my vegetable garden and looking after my chickens. I also love cooking, but it is really just an excuse to listen to football on the radio and to drink red wine!
My name is Beth and I am the Operations Manager. My role is to effectively coordinate all day-to-day operations and lead a team of Key Players to proactively manage the needs of the clients and Care Professionals whilst keeping our quality of care at the highest level.
Hello, my name is Rebecca, and I am the Care Manager at Home Instead Rochdale. After graduating from university in 2020, I started working for Home Instead. I have recently obtained my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.
I thoroughly enjoy the work I do at Home Instead as we enable individuals to remain in their homes for as long as they would like. My favourite part of the job is setting up new care packages and seeing the positive difference our service can make!
I live locally with my cats, Tillie and Lunar. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and going out for food, especially Italian food!
I’m Kim and I’m the Scheduler in our team. Day to day I am responsible for coordinating the carers and the clients and ensuring everyone knows where they need to be and when. I thoroughly enjoy the challenges that my role presents me with and even more so as it is for a company that I respect and am proud to work for.
I live in Bacup with my husband Jon, my two young boys Jack and Charlie and my daughter Rosie; my children are in infant school and nursery so outside of work I am busy looking after them and our cat Rodders! I love food, especially cheese, and love going camping in our tent as often as possible. My favourite holiday is our annual drive to the south of France to see my French family; it takes two days but the children love the journey!
I’m Joanne, I am the networker at Home Instead, Rochdale. I cover Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale to raise awareness of the high-quality services we provide. The role enables me to spend time building and developing community relationships with other agencies, community services and local groups.
I have always worked directly with the public. I have spent the last 16 years of my career working in the care sector with varied experience in Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Carer Support. I find my role exciting and rewarding, particularly engaging with the whole community and providing support wherever I can.
I was born in Rochdale and live locally. I have two teenage daughters and a cat, they all keep me very busy. When I get a chance to relax (in between being a mum taxi) I enjoy going to the theatre and I also volunteer at local am-dram societies.
Hi, I’m Lisa and I look after recruitment and training here at Home Instead, Rochdale My role covers recruitment, retention and training.
I enjoy meeting people and following their progress from application through to induction/training to becoming a CARE Professional. It's really rewarding to see our staff develop their confidence and skills.
