I am really happy with the support and care I have been receiving from HRM Homecare services. The carers are really friendly and treat me with dignity. Since my wife passed away in August, they have been very supportive and I look forward to their visits each day.

I find all staff are conscientious. I am satisfied with their support. I understand it must be difficult to keep to a timetable, being understaffed and some unforeseen circumstances. That is my only issue, time for your staff to complete their duties.

Despite several phone calls re: rotas not being given, my mum and dad are still in limbo. They were assured that the one carer who came in would be in all day - this is not happening and is not acceptable! This is upsetting my parents - please get it sorted!

Concerns were rectified and a weekly schedule is now sent. Unfortunately, due to carers' shift patterns, it is not always possible to provide the same carer all day every day but we do aim to provide continuity where we can.

The most annoying gripe, in my opinion, is there is no word to let you know when your times are being changed.

Overall the service provided is great. It would just be better if it could be a wee bit later, and this has been discussed with the manager.


The girls are all lovely and my mum looks forward to seeing them every day. Anytime I have had to phone the office about any issues, it has been dealt with

right away in a pleasant manner.

The carers who attend me every morning to help with putting on my elastic stockings are very helpful and it is a great help having my lunch prepared. I appreciate very much what they do for me.
