The care company office staff listen to our comments, requests and do everything possible to accommodate. The carers we have are excellent, they communicate well and have a common-sense approach. They turn up on time and make a positive contribution to the day. Having used other care organisations this is 100% the best one.
Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate you taking the time to review us. It's made my day reading your comments which I'm looking forward to sharing with everyone.
I underwent a total knee replacement on 21st October 2019. As I live alone I required carers for a few weeks once I was discharged. The 3 carers I had were absolutely excellent. They were always punctual and sometimes stayed beyond their allotted time. They were all extremely helpful. I had personal care for a bit but they also cleaned, ironed and went shopping for me. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
I would happily recommend Home Instead.
I would recommend Home Instead as the care that has been provided to my father is nothing short of excellent.
We started using them to introduce mum to carers following her dementia diagnosis. The visitor was introduced as a friend to take her for a lovely afternoon out once a week and that's exactly what it's been for her and for us. In addition, when mum had a hospital stay, her visitor was able to visit during the working day which we couldn't, sat with her chatting, reading magazines and doing crosswords together.
The office team are quick to respond to queries and requests for extra help. We can easily add extra days as required, so will be able to keep mum at home and independent as long as possible.
The carer was excellent, mature, reliable and sensitive to my husband’s needs.
Home Instead enable my Aunt to live a happy and safe life in a residential care home. She is not an easy individual, suffering from a range of age related issues, but the carer established a lasting and deep affection with her and she looks forwards to her visits.
I am happy with the companionship provided by staff. It is really good when a regular companion is available but I understand that sickness is something that can't be avoided. My sister enjoys having someone to chat to and be taken out.
We have used Home Instead Senior Care for over two years and have been very impressed with the service. Continuity of care has been impressive with only one change of carer in all that time, apart from holiday cover. Continuity with the back office staff is also impressive; I always deal with the same manager, and my calls are always answered immediately or returned within an hour. This reduces the stress involved in managing care so I am very happy. They have also taken a great deal of care in finding a carer who gets on with my loved one, which means she is also happy with the care delivered. I would absolutely recommend this company.
I have had visits from my carer for nearly 4 years. In that time we have become good friends. If I need anything such as toiletries, clothes, shaves etc., I can ask and know he will get them for me. I enjoy our regular meetings when we chat and have a laugh. I rely very much on the help and support I receive, I would be lost without the visits.
I'm delighted with Home Instead Senior Care. The care givers allocated have been polite, empathetic and interested in my Mother as an individual person. They've made every effort to make her feel valued and offer the right level of support for her requirements. This in turn allows my Mother to still feel independent which is very important to us as a family. She looks forward to the Home Instead visits and regards the care givers as friends. Home Instead make sure there is a large degree of continuity which is great. Faces become familiar and this recognition helps my Mother's experience to always be a positive one. I can highly recommend Home Instead Senior Care.
Carer very helpful and service very satisfactory.
Mum is not always easy but the carers have been very patient. When she was unhappy with one carer they worked with me to find someone more suitable for mums needs. They are very professional in all dealings with us.
Individual carers are excellent and very reliable.
The only way to improve would be to introduce more intensive care i.e use of hoist equipment etc.
Initial impressions of Home Instead were good and experience of services provided have more than borne out these impressions. We have been very impressed by their professionalism and the staff provided. We have had 3 members of staff acting as companions/carers for my wife. Their individual personalities are quite different but all have become excellent companions to my wife.
Home Instead were really responsive and helpful when we approached them to provide care support for my mother who had Alzheimers. When I contacted Home Instead they responded quickly and within a matter of days, they had visited Mum, undertaken an assessment and arranged for carers to support her. The carers were friendly and caring and the staff at Home Instead were helpful and responsive to family requests. There were a number of occasions where we had to make changes to arrangements and nothing was too much bother. We were grateful for the company they provided for mum.
The company devotes valuable time and resources to matching the carers to the client. They also support the carer team well. Both the carers and the management team have always been open to constructive comments. As such, we have benefited from a stable, efficient and effective carer team.
Excellent service - we currently have two people who provide support to my father and within the home setting on a weekly basis - both are well matched to our needs and we have nothing but praise for their assistance. The support has been well tailored to meet my father's needs as well as the preferences of my mother who is his main carer - we couldn't manage without their support.
I thought it very helpful.
