I have nothing but praise for our wonderful team of carers who visit us four times daily every week. They always bring so much love, joy and happiness as well as exceptional care, concern and professionalism. I have been so impressed with the support, care and management by Home Instead since the first day we met with Dad to discuss his needs. Client's individual needs are their priority and this shone through from the manager to all carers in the team, in their attentiveness and care with my dad, to their detailed and thoughtful correspondence, ensuring my sister and I were always fully informed. The team were always very flexible and adapted care routines to fit with Dad's/our wishes (it's definitely not easy to initiate care when your dad wants to maintain full independence!). Home Instead has given outstanding daily care to our dad over the last few months which has enabled him to stay at home as long as possible. The service is professional, warm and personalised. We have been able to increase care levels as required and the team worked so hard to make sure that Dad's needs were met. At critical times they went above and beyond, maintained excellent communication with us, and always put Dad's well-being and dignity at the heart of their planning and care. I cannot praise Home Instead enough really. They have been attentive to our requirements at every stage and constantly check that their service supplies what we need. Our main carer has been excellent not only keeping my wife company when I am out but also engaging her in activity during the day. She genuinely looks forward to the carer's visit which makes the whole experience a lot easier for us all. I was very reluctant to take that leap of using a carer but am now very grateful that I did.

The team which looks after my neighbour is absolutely superb. They all really care about her. Each member is conscientious, efficient, reliable, cheerful and help her to remain happy. In particular, the website where we can read notes on the visits as soon as they have been completed has enabled us to know exactly how the visit has gone and to keep up with the situation. Home Instead caregivers visited her over a period of more than five years until she recently (Nov 2023) decided to move into residential care. Over the five years, as her needs changed, the visits were gradually increased from once each weekday up to twice every day.
The real plus points for Home Instead were:
A reliable service, caregivers properly introduced and working to a schedule, ability of caregivers to take her out (shopping, sightseeing), giving us feedback on any concerns, an accessible record after each visit and regular meetings at my aunt's for a review.
This review was invaluable for seeing how my aunt felt, what she liked, what could be improved and so on.

My very elderly father has been receiving care from Home Instead in Bath for the last two years. He has visits twice a week for help with cleaning and cooking but no personal care is needed. The ladies are extremely kind and caring, helpful and punctual. They take a great interest in dad and treat him very respectfully. We are delighted with Home Instead.

I have used Home Instead for several years to provide respite and personal care for my wife who has Alzheimer's. They are also able to provide 'ad hoc' respite care when needed to enable me to see family or keep an appointment. I am very pleased with the service they provide.

The manager has been extremely helpful and visited us personally on several occasions and give advice and guidance. She carefully selected a most suitable carer who my wife loves and who she already sees as her friend. I initially worried that my wife would rebel against being left with someone without me but she now looks forward to her weekly afternoon with her friend. From feeling very alone and isolated Home Instead have given me somewhere to turn to and I know that as things get more difficult they will help me in other ways when we need it. It is totally without reservation that i recommend Home Instead to anyone in a similar position to us.

With the current climate being what it is. I was overwhelmed with the care and concern shown to my mother when she has a bad turn and required extra care. I'm so happy that Home Instead (Bath) were able to sort extra cover. It has out the whole family at ease knowing professionals are on the case.

Meet the Team (8)
Kerri has worked in the care industry for 18 years, starting her journey as a care and support worker and eventually joining the management team at Home Instead. Home Instead has a family feel for their clients and Care Professionals, which she says she feels proud to be a part of.
Kerri has a level 3 and is working towards level 5 in Health and Social Care, as well as being a trained trainer in various subjects. She recognises the challenges the care industry is facing and ensuring a high quality of care is extremely important to her.
As Director/Owner of Home Instead Bath and West Wiltshire, Jeevan is committed to providing outstanding care that makes a tangible difference to the lives of clients and their families.
Lisa's Home Instead journey started as a Care Professional in 2016 before moving into the role of Field Care Supervisor in 2020.
Lisa loves enabling our clients to remain independent in their own homes and supporting our Care Professionals to be able to provide the best quality care.
Jade has worked in the Healthcare industry for nine years and has her Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care. She joined Home Instead in January 2024 as a Scheduler responsible for scheduling all the visits to the clients and allocating work to our Care Professionals.
Jade has since progressed into a new role of Field Care Supervisor, getting out into the community and meeting our clients and Care Professionals to ensure the right support is in place to keep our clients safe in their own homes.
Marie started care work with Home Instead as a Care Professional in 2024 before joining the office team to support on the operational side of the business.
After volunteering in a Care Home with my therapy dog, I joined Home Instead in August 2024 as a Care Professional, before moving into the Senior Care Responder Role in February 2026.
I started as The Scheduler for Home Instead Bath and West Wiltshire in April 2026.
I trained for 3 years with the South Western Ambulance Service and, through this, gained a love for supporting and caring for people within our community. I then joined the Home Instead team in April 2026 as a Senior Care Responder, and I am committed to providing high-quality care to our community.
