Constantly impressed with the personalised and caring service my dad receives and with the excellent levels of communication, so although my brother and I both live a long way from Dad we are kept up to date with things that are issues for him so that we can respond and improve his day to day life. I have just been to stay with Dad and found a clean and well-kept house, and a happy and well-fed Dad, both thanks to the lovely carers he has visiting him every day! Dealing with company bureaucracy can be so tiring but this is never the case with Home Instead, one call, phone is answered by a friendly person (often someone we already know) and the request dealt with speedily, efficiently and with Dad's best interests at heart. We would recommend the service with no reservations.

Although I never met my Auntie's Carers, I felt I knew them as she always talked about them, how nice and friendly they were and she always looked forward to seeing them. Home Instead has been an excellent provider of care for my dad and, prior to her admission to a care home, my mum too. The care staff have always been caring and compassionate, especially at the start when my parents had to get used to the transition from independence, to needing some help. Everyone I have dealt with in the office has been excellent. Always very friendly and helpful and my sister and I have a good rapport with them. Recently when my mum passed away, they went the extra mile to ensure that not just my Dad, but also my sister and I had support when needed. Thank you to everyone at Home Instead. Finally a special mention for one member of staff, in particular, who is so helpful and so lovely to deal with and has really helped my dad through a difficult time.

The staff are all very helpful and caring and blend into the home, respecting my Mum's privacy and need to stay independent. I do not live near my mother, and it gives peace of mind knowing that full support and care is being given by the team. I have been using Home Instead for six years now and will continue to do so for as long as I am able. With four visits a day, seven days a week involving everything from personal-care to cooking they enrich my life and cannot do enough for me. During this very difficult time of COVID-19, when I was unwell with an unrelated illness they have shown how adaptable the caregivers can be as sleepovers were arranged urgently. When I have faced obstacles from local services, they have fought my corner looking at what is best for me and my condition. Their vigilance in checking for skin integrity has ensured that any changes are flagged up immediately thereby eliminating a need to be hospitalised. I feel very blessed that I am supported by such excellent caregivers and office staff and I would like to thank them all for continuing to care for me as key workers who are putting their lives at risk every day during this pandemic.

We were introduced to the carers who would be involved in visits, and communication with both office and care staff was always positive and helpful. The care providers were consistent and completely reliable. I can honestly say, there were no occasions when carers failed to turn up, nor any lateness.
The interactions between the carers and my mother were always kind and patient, and she looked forward to the carers visiting and their conversations.
I also appreciated the communication with individual carers when they visited and had immediate concerns.
I am completely confident in recommending Home Instead.

The carers all cared for my Mother with the greatest of respect and dignity, she felt safe and comfortable with their presence in her home.
We as a family were consulted about any worries and kept informed on a very regular basis.
It was a huge comfort to know my Mother was in such safe professional hands. As her Dementia progressed Home Instead were able to give her more hours of care a day with very little notice. My Mother’s wish was to stay in her own home for as long as possible and thanks to Home Instead she was able to do that before she eventually had to move to a dementia care home.

Mum has used the services of Home Instead for many years and enjoys seeing a familiar face and the help that the caregiver offers. The staff and caregivers are always there to listen and help resolve any issues no matter how small. They are caring not only to Mum but have been there to support her family too. I would certainly recommend them.

Meet the Team (8)
Kerri has worked in the care industry for 18 years, starting her journey as a care and support worker and eventually joining the management team at Home Instead. Home Instead has a family feel for their clients and Care Professionals, which she says she feels proud to be a part of.
Kerri has a level 3 and is working towards level 5 in Health and Social Care, as well as being a trained trainer in various subjects. She recognises the challenges the care industry is facing and ensuring a high quality of care is extremely important to her.
As Director/Owner of Home Instead Bath and West Wiltshire, Jeevan is committed to providing outstanding care that makes a tangible difference to the lives of clients and their families.
Lisa's Home Instead journey started as a Care Professional in 2016 before moving into the role of Field Care Supervisor in 2020.
Lisa loves enabling our clients to remain independent in their own homes and supporting our Care Professionals to be able to provide the best quality care.
Jade has worked in the Healthcare industry for nine years and has her Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care. She joined Home Instead in January 2024 as a Scheduler responsible for scheduling all the visits to the clients and allocating work to our Care Professionals.
Jade has since progressed into a new role of Field Care Supervisor, getting out into the community and meeting our clients and Care Professionals to ensure the right support is in place to keep our clients safe in their own homes.
Marie started care work with Home Instead as a Care Professional in 2024 before joining the office team to support on the operational side of the business.
After volunteering in a Care Home with my therapy dog, I joined Home Instead in August 2024 as a Care Professional, before moving into the Senior Care Responder Role in February 2026.
I started as The Scheduler for Home Instead Bath and West Wiltshire in April 2026.
I trained for 3 years with the South Western Ambulance Service and, through this, gained a love for supporting and caring for people within our community. I then joined the Home Instead team in April 2026 as a Senior Care Responder, and I am committed to providing high-quality care to our community.
