Home Instead have provided thoughtful and excellent care for my 'tricky' mother for the past 9-months. The carers are professional, imaginative in their approach to providing a stimulating environment, and above all, extremely diligent about providing the best possible care in her home. Each and every one of them deserves a medal for the patience, kindness and attention to detail they display in attending to her daily needs. I would recommend them to anyone who wishes to provide gold standard care for someone wishing to remain in their own home.

Excellent professional organisation. Management caring and understanding the needs of prospective clients. Initial visits to introduce carers, who in turn attended to my every need. Completely reliable, and despite our age gap (I am 87) they treated me as a friend of their own age. I live in a retirement block and see many carers from other companies. Home Instead is superior, in fact, the Rolls Royce of Home Care. I needed care after replacement hip surgery following a fall.

I called Home Instead asking to leave a review as I am so very impressed with their services: The interview process, the tactful and knowledgeable approach to get to know my mother, the knowledge of my mother's condition (Alzheimer), the warmth of everybody involved, the circumspection and care towards all details concerning my mother, the kindness of the carers, in short: the human touch which is so often advertised but so rarely demonstrated. In addition to the excellent matching of the carers to my mother's personality and interests (she is lively and joyful again after each visit), I greatly appreciate (no names, you know whom I mean) the very considerate and knowledgeable pair of eyes and real concern of my mother's well - being and safety, pointing out issues to me that I am unaware of and acting upon them (I live far away). And I like to add that Social Services who met the staff with my mother were very favourably impressed too!

Home Instead is a truly first class home care provider. We went to them on basis of personal recommendations and were so happy with the service they gave my mother in law. They quickly realised the extremely difficult emergency situation my family faced with having to look after an elderly relative with Alzheimer's at home, at the same time as caring for two children. They took a huge amount of pressure off us and introduced a care package within a day or two, allowing us to return to a level of normality and give us some breathing space while we explored longer-term options. They were kind and sympathetic. They get to know the individual and we had full trust in them. I have worked in the care sector myself and Home Instead's model of home care has set the bar higher for everyone - it's how it should be everywhere. Thank you to the directors for being there.

Home Instead has been a very supportive organisation for both our mother and us as a family. Their calm expertise instilled us with confidence from the very start. They are extremely approachable taking on the smallest concern with care and sensitivity. The well being of our mother is always at the forefront of everything they do and they don’t hesitate to go the extra mile. The carers have been wonderful and we feel as though our mother is in safe hands. The record keeping is very informative and it enables us to keep up to date with everything that has occurred while we are not there. It is their genuine respect and value for all parties involved that makes them such pleasure to work with.

My father was certainly not an easy client, but Home Instead staff always treated him with the utmost patience, tolerance, dignity and care.

Finding this wonderful agency has been one of the luckiest things we have done. They are so very kind and caring and go the extra mile to help and oblige, all with genuine care in their hearts. The peace of mind we now have in knowing that our uncle is being looked after and seeing him so happy in the company of the lovely ladies who have been allocated to look after him is just so reassuring. We cannot thank them enough.

Agency staff were thorough in investigating all aspects of health and facilities during a home visit. I was very satisfied with the carer appointed. She always arrived early and was pleasant and efficient. A very reassuring presence when I had to go out.

My husband (88 diagnosed with Alzheimer's 14 years ago) has been visited by a Home Instead carer once a week for almost 2 years. Home Instead were very thorough from the outset; listened to what we needed and took pains to find a good "match" . We have had the same carer all along so I feel confident and my husband feels confident. The carer is clearly well trained, stimulates my husband, is sensitive to his needs and treats him with dignity and understanding - and has become like one of the family. I have recommended Home Instead to a fellow carer who is equally impressed!

Home Instead have been a God-send for our family. At a time of particular stress, the Home Instead team have provided support - helping one of my parents to get dressed and to shower but also helping with shopping, doing the ironing and even finding a hairdresser. We couldn't be happier with the service, kindness and support we have received.

Professional, efficient, caring, brilliant. I do not live near to my sister-in-law, although I was visiting as much as possible, using Homecare Instead made a difficult period very easy to manage. I do not know how we would have coped without them. As we needed more help, it was arranged seamlessly, my sister-in-law could remain at home, safe, looked after and cared for. By intelligent people who could be real companions, good for a chat, but also to sort the shopping, cooking, and all manner of things. This agency really does what it says!

My mother-in-law came to live with us at Christmas. We needed help for her - to provide companionship and outings. She has dementia (early!) but is not very mobile and needs assistance. I found out about Home Instead Senior Care by accident and from the first phone call and meeting they have been amazing. Empathetic, helpful and provided carer/help that is so well suited to mother-in-law. We are still shocked (in a good way) I can't say enough good things about them. It has totally transformed her day to day life.
