Mum now looks to these ladies as friends and enjoys her time spent with them. She has also managed to build a good relationship with them, not easy when you suffer from Alzheimer’s.
Seren girls tailor their time to make sure my mum is clean, happy and calm all with a smile and humour.
I cannot emphasise how grateful I am to Seren for allowing me more freedom while they take the strain of dealing with the day to day stresses of an Alzheimer's patient.
It took me a long time to decide whether carers would be helpful with Mum, as she is very particular with who she sees, but it’s the best thing we’ve done, thanks to Seren, and it’s a great team.
I have never had an issue with Seren, and they are always helpful and respectful if I ever have any queries.

The Seren's who look after my parents are an amazing team. They work together, sharing their expertise and compassion, learning together how best to meet the changing needs of my parents. They are professional and respectful whilst always having a sense of humour. Nothing seems too much for them and, because of them, my parents live happily and safely in their own home. The Seren's are stars and angels all in one and, as a family, we are so grateful for this team of very special, gifted and warm-hearted people.
I would like to personally thank the care girls for all the support my mother received during a very difficult phase for us as a family. My mum became very poorly before Christmas, and the care and support we received from the girls was phenomenal. They went above and beyond to ensure Mum was safe and well cared for. The reviewing officers were always at hand and did their utmost to meet all Mums perceived needs. Mum loves the girls calling and now refers to them as her “friends”. I regularly see them singing with her, and after not walking for several weeks now, even doing her version of the can-can. Her regular care girl has now moved on to pastures new, she will be dearly missed by Mum and me. However, her co-worker who is equally as fabulous is still on board, so I know the heartfelt care, empathy and compassion will still be given. It is so important to know excellent quality care is given to someone, who to us, is more precious than Gold. Thank you all, you are certainly Seren stars!
Even during the pandemic, they have gone every day to support my friend when I have been unable to visit due to a local lockdown.
As with many companies the front line staff, in particular the carers, are excellent. Unfortunately, they are not supported by a robust management and admin team. Their communication skills are non-existent and their empathy towards issues that arise from their incompetency must be experienced to be believed. If you care for someone with learning disabilities this is not the company for you.
In this case, it is reasonable to say that we as a service were forthcoming in stating that we believed the service your family member received was not suited to their needs, and we were not the...
Everybody is just so lovely and caring. Not only to my Mam but also to my Dad which we are truly grateful.
The staff are like little rays of sunshine that brighten up my parents day.

I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. The girls soon put me at ease. Grateful for the service it's helping me manage my own home.

Seren have been providing a service for my father for the last 5 months. During this time they have developed an excellent rapport with my Dad and myself. They are faultless in the service they provide. Nothing is too much of an effort for them. Prior to Seren and due to my location in relation to my dad's location, Seren has given me peace of mind, always at the end of the phone. Thank you so much Seren. Your name is quite apt.
In the beginning, there was a lot of misunderstanding and no real continuity of care. As the time has gone the company, on the whole, has improved and management has started to listen when contacted by myself or my father.
Please remind new carers that her commode needs to be by her bed.
Previously she has fallen. But overall care is great.

The carers do everything I ask of them. They are all very polite, friendly and helpful.
Generally satisfied with service, carers polite and helpful. If carer is delayed we are notified.
The carers are excellent but the company should look at its self.
The care we have received is second to none. Mum has been treated with dignity and compassion at all times. Not only do the whole team look after mum they have also been a massive support to me for the last few months, keeping me going at low times. I really do not know how we would have coped without them.
I will ensure this is shared with the care delivery team, who I know will be delighted to hear this.
Very pleased with the service Mum has been given so far.
