We are delighted with the care. Always on time and such lovely people. My father is always treated with respect and care. The carers always offer help and are willing to support both of us. They always go that little bit more.

The quality of the care provided is excellent. The carers seem to genuinely enjoy their work and they are very responsive to Mum’s needs. They have taken appropriate action when emergencies arose. Unlike other agencies, there is complete continuity of care and the small same team cover all of the visits. Communication both ways has been excellent and even when contacting the office out of hours I am greeted by a friendly, helpful professional, which is reassuring. As a family, we have been delighted with our choice of Home Instead.

The service provided was absolutely excellent. The carers were friendly but professional and efficient. My father-in-law was relaxed and comfortable around all the people he met. The company endeavours to keep the support team the same to allow a pleasant and trusting relationship to develop. The people in the office were supportive and understanding with my husband and I, exhibiting flexibility and advice when circumstances were in flux and updating us with any concerns or points they felt we might not be aware of at such times. We felt that everyone we spoke to knew who my father-in-law was and understood his needs. He looked forward to their visits. In conclusion, we would like to express our gratitude to the carers of Home Instead for their consistent service in these current extraordinary days.

Home Instead are an amazing Care Company! The CareGivers are some of the kindest and loveliest Ladies I have ever met. Because we live 170 miles away we rely on this amazing team to deliver daily care to our two Aunties and they certainly do that and more! They give us peace of mind and deliver a service which is ‘second to none’. A million thanks to you all.

In April 2019 my sister and I needed to quickly put in place a care package for our mother. Home Instead was recommended by both family and friends and we have never looked back. From the 1st meeting to discuss Mum’s initial needs to meeting her primary care team a couple of days later, the service provided has been friendly and caring whilst maintaining professionalism. Visits are punctual, organised and the care given is of the very highest standard. The last six weeks have only endorsed what an excellent decision we made - ranging from the regular comprehensive but sensitive protocol updates from the management team to the friendship and companionship delivered by the carers, affording us such wonderful peace of mind that Mum is so well cared for while we are unable to make those visits ourselves. Reading the twice-daily updates on the App provides the reassurances that all checks are in place and followed for the benefit of both caregiver and client. Excellent, thank you.

We have been absolutely delighted with the care provided for Mum and Dad by Home Instead since October last year. The CareGivers and Management Team are very caring, professional, efficient, proactive and positive in their approach. I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough. The team on the phone are great but the team who go out to see mum are amazing. She prefers to see them to her family! They have got to know her interests and needs, they treat her as the intelligent adult she is and go over and above their duty to enhance her life and keep her in her home. Worth every penny. At a time when the family cannot go and see her, it is reassuring to know she is so well cared for. Thank you.

The reassurance that Mum is well looked after means that her and her family have stayed safe and happy particularly during the lockdown period.

We have found this to be a very responsive service; who offer a high level of care and also appear to support their staff well.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead for caregivers. We employed Home Instead on behalf of Mum, initially in January 2018. We all welcomed the fact that there was continuity of the caregivers themselves and that they arrived at the allotted time too. Mum enjoyed the extra companionship/friendship, whether it be over a cuppa at home, a meal out, a trip out to the shops or a drive around the local countryside. The caregivers had an understanding of Mums condition, enabling them to help in any way they could, including taking Mum to surgery/dental appointments. They always showed care and understanding, in what became difficult visits for them all, latterly. The office staff were also attentive when we met or spoke with them. The team, as a whole, were able to offer advice and guidance to us when needed, which enabled us to help with Mums care too.

My mum enjoyed the regular care and support the caregivers gave. They were always on time and when she progressed to being able to go out with support, she enjoyed their company when taking her out for coffee and to the hairdressers etc.

Mum seems really happy with the visits received from the caregivers of Home Instead. She was afraid that there would be an endless turnover of different caregivers but was happily surprised to have the few, same people over the weeks. The care given is really catered to her needs and desires and has enabled Mum, now 95 years old, to stay at home - which is what she really wanted.

I have already recommended Home Instead to friends and colleagues who happen to be in other areas of the UK and would have no hesitation in recommending the Charnwood branch. They have been helping my parents now for over 18 months and throughout have been flexible to changing needs and unfailingly kind to us all. The Care-Givers who visit have all been wonderful people so that despite their professionalism it has been like welcoming a friend into the home. This month one Care-Giver arrived to find my father unwell and, assessing the situation quickly, correctly called 999 so that he could be admitted to A & E for necessary treatment. I arrived at the house as he was being loaded into the ambulance to find that she had also already packed a hospital bag for him. Due to changing needs I can recommend Home Instead for dementia care, personal care, help with household chores and for always providing a friendly face, putting my mind at ease when I cannot be with my parents myself.

I can go out with peace of mind, not having to worry about him.

To get Dad discharged from hospital needed 7 days a week care setting up quickly. Home Instead were able to arrange it speedily and I have nothing but admiration for their sensitive and effective recruitment of enough great carers to relieve me of the stress and worry. Dad (97) is better cared for than I could have dared hope and is happily able to stay safely in his own home.

As full-time carer to my husband, I do not know what I would do without them. Not only do they give my husband excellent personal care but they also brighten up my day tremendously.

After 6 months of receiving dreadful service from 3 other companies, we found this company. Just wish we had found them sooner. Excellently run from management down, very professional, superb care and support. Couldn't fault them.

All of the carers do a great job with my mum. They actually seem to enjoy what they are doing and give a great standard of care.

All the care givers that I have met during the time my mother has been a client have been professional and personable and really appear to care. They do all they can to make her happy and comfortable in her own home and since she was widowed they have been understanding and empathetic. Without Home Instead care, she would have had to go in to permanent care.
